Bought sausage here, and got food poisoning. Thought it was a fluke, but just bought pork chops here and got home, they were black and blue on the bottom and rotten. Please be careful when purchasing meat here!!! The “best by” date wasn’t for another week! They may not store the food in the back properly. I would go to Aldi for meat.

Always go to see if we need any of the meat specials. Ribeye steaks and TBones on sale today for 599 and 699. Apples looked good also. Great prices too

I've always enjoyed save-a-lot.. and in this area, it's the only grocery store unless you go to dollar general or family dollar or drive further away to Cayuga, Paris, Danville, etc. Would be nice if it was a wee bit bigger, but honestly, it's a nice place. Kept stocked, clean and organized, but again, a little bigger would be nice.(Bigger of course means more variety and more of what goes fast, such as canned goods)

Staff is always helpful and nice, product selection changing alot to more off brands or mexican products than usual products. But prices match most other stores.

I cannot say enough about this lil hometown store! The most impeccabley clean grocery store I've ever seen! From the ceilings to the walls down to the floors and the baseboards! These photos don't even compare to the physical sight- the canned goods have not one speck of dust; the fruits & veggies shine almost as brightly as the floors! There's ALWAYS good supply of whatever you need and some extras I didn't expect to find ( Reader eyeglasses! $1:00!!? Yes!) Thank you to the managers and employees who have made all of us in Georgetown proud of our lil hometown Grocery store!

This is a pretty cheap store, I can feed a family of five on $125/wk. It's also easy to find what you may be looking for.

My husband and I shop at this sal weekly and spend hundreds of dollars but I'm sad to say we will not be going back because the lady that works there named Nancy has the nastiest personality ever! My husband has had to return some meats at different times because the packaging had rips in them... I'm sorry not our fault and we aren't going to eat what's inside if it isn't safely covered... Anyways Nancy this last time we returned the meat to exchange it for another which was more expensive and we paid extra she says to him that he is the only one who does this and from now on she will be checking the meat he purchases to see if they are ripped... Like she thinks we are ripping them and returning them for what reason? She is such a nasty person!

First and foremost it has some of the friendliest and most helpful employees. They can help you find anything that is in the store, and not just the stockers but all the employees. Keep up on the fabulous job.

If you want to shop away from the crowds good place. They have Instacart delivery. But time your trips with the trucks cause stuff goes fast.

Best grocery store within 20 minutes. Pretty clean inside and out. Staff was nice but not too helpful. They have all the basics at only a slightly higher price.

Great prices, but the company needs to put a paper towel dispenser by the raw chicken shelf. It's nasty getting that juice on your hands. Otherwise, I like shopping their, nice selection of products.

Clean good to get a few things. Not alot of selection. Higher prices than Aldis & the other SAL.Last few times I was in there the cashier was very rude & has an attitude.Probably wont go back

I loved this store at first it had really good produce and meat but as time has gone on they have started cutting corners like the previous IGA did so when possible I now drive into Danville to go to Aldi instead of a few blocks over.. I wish they would get it together in the meat and produce area...

They have a decent produce section for a small town grocery store. It's good for if you need milk or something quick and dont want to go to danville. Typically we do our weeks grocery shopping at Aldi.

Meat department is fairly impressive for such a small store. I compare Save-a-Lot to Aldi's. I feel like Aldi's has better prices, but Save-a-Lot has better meats. As a general whole most items are generic (similar to Aldi) but there are occasionally some name brand items like Oreos, Cherrios.

I really enjoy this place especially for the low prices and the congruent tax. Theres a large amount of things to make with the things with in the store and usually keeps itself clean and well maintained for a small town store.
