They were out of a product and the lady at the service center couldn't have been MEANER as I was put through the FIFTH DEGREE just to get a Raincheck. Not A Friendly Staff or Store on National Blvd Galesburg Illinois. She has gray hair and has been there for years and getting MEANER. Time to RETIRE or Take A Break as This is not the Hy-Vee that I know!! Please REPREMAND her as I am disabled. UPDATE On 3-12 2024 Now this is the Hy-Vee that I really know!! Wrong price on some 🍲 and the manager changed it with Kindness and a SMILE 😄! And I used a raincheck and it was not a problem at 5 pm shift. Cashier was kind and so was the Service Desk. It's not always a bad experience like I had last time in the morning time. THANK YOU!!!

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because Hy-Vee used to have more variety of products before the pandemic. While supply changes played a factor, I'm finding these products elsewhere now and Hyvee has removed the space for these items on the shelves of their stores. Some items I have asked about and been told that they have decided not to carry any more. Between that and the shift in their perks program, I'm finding it more difficult to find the brands I love on a consistent basis or on good sales.The new perks program has changed my shopping habits as well, and I'm starting to find myself shopping around for the best deals instead of the one-stop shopping I used to do. I have had the perks plus program since the beginning of this year and the changes to this program in recent months have impacted my decision to not renew it.Most staff live up to their motto of "a helpful smile in every aisle," and it shows when customers have questions or issues with products.Department staff can typically be found in aisles helping customers during the busier day hours. I prefer early morning or late night shopping to avoid crowds, so less staff is on the floor, but I know I can always ask questions at the register or customer service desk.Cashiers and front-end staff almost always check eggs if they don't ask if I have myself, and sometimes even double-check just to be sure. They typically do a good job of bagging groceries and being mindful of what is put with what. Adam has always gone above and beyond in this aspect and has become my go-to bagger whenever he is working. I know that my groceries are handled with the utmost care when he does the job.Customer service has always been helpful in remedying issues, from spoiled milk not past the due date to improperly bagged raspberries put with a cantaloupe.

Food section you can be paying and the cashier would acknowledge the person behind you and you wasn’t finished (rude) then she gave my food to DoorDash and instead of apologizing she ignored me. Sooo yea try them at your own risk. Galesburg location Henderson

Very busy. Nice staff. Will go again. Only issue was a spice needed was put out reach. Had to find someone to reach it for me. Found a very nice staff member to reach it for me. He got it down for me and asked if I needed anything thing else from the taller part of the shelf. I told her no thank you I was only needing the one spice this time but would make it a point to try and find him if I needed anything else from the top shelf. This is the level of help all stores should strive for. This will make them the first choice I will make on where to shop.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. And I never have to wait in line for long. Even if there is a line all hands on deck help each other out to move the lines along quickly and professionally.

I love the Main St. Hy-Vee, the way the one on Henderson street is set up doesn't make much sense to me and they tend to not have everything the Main St one does. People are friendlier at main as well

I ordered a meat bundle and some were rapped with a proper label and some meats didn't have proper labels on the meat packages that came in the meat bundle. Im pretty sure this is a OSHA violation. I talked to the people on the phone (meat department) and they acted like nothing was wrong...I'm personally sick of 3rd party b.s. in this corrupt country. Stop with second guessing, that is what makes people sick. If people did there jobs properly then this review wouldn't have even gotten posted. I will still order meat bundles but since I work in a meat department, they need to be better with properly labeling of meats!!! And I will continue to look properly and I will still make phone calls and do the necessary steps that I need to follow to keep my family safe from these Acts! Have a great day!

Some of their produce packaged has alot of bad fruit on the inside, but the selection is excellent and the meat department is unparalleled. Don't love that you have to pay for the higher level of gas savings, but that would not stop me from shopping here.

I called on Friday September 22nd for a 4 dozen cupcake “cake” to be picked up on September 30th. When we went to pick it up the bakery said they didn’t have any order under our name and called the East Main HyVee to see if they had it, and they did not. Changed my rating from one to three stars because they gave us 4 dozen regular cupcakes for free for our inconvenience.

This store offers a lot of choices in brands etc. The deli is decent in size and it's all good. I love the fresh meat counter and they have a nice little flower shop section plus a pharmacy.

Since they re-organized everything within the last couple of years, it's so much easier to find what I'm looking for.This location generally, in my perception, doesn't have as many options as the Main St location, but that means I seems smaller and much easier to get around. If I have just a few common things to get, and I want to get them fast without much fuss, this store is great for that.Employees are friendly, carts tend to be well-stocked, including the smaller ones which are my personally preferred cart to use.

Guy didn't know what's in the Chinese food,also the restrant next to it lady didn't know if the serve burgers,breakfast was all over there menu and so I ask if I could get an omelet and she said no.I was so confused.Also dude never gave me a bag for my sweet and sour sauce kinda hard to handle 2 meals and 6 sweet and sour sauceAlso no Fortune cookie

Out of all the grocery stores in town this is my favorite great selection awsome prices best of all hot food ready to get and sit down the staff are some of the best people ive had the pleasure of talking to always ready to help and take you right to the iteam you need plus perks you get when you sign up for there fuel card rewards its a big help come shoping day thanks for the great service everyone you all rock!!!
