Since they've changed things, I can't find several things that I ALWAYS used to get here! Most importantly is the CATNIP!! THE BEST CATNIP IN THE WORLD and unless I want to buy a whole case through the mail, I can't get it. I don't need that much. Granted, I buy 4 0r 5 at a time but that's only because I never knew if Dollar Tree is going to have it. Also, WHAT HAPPENED TO DRINKS IN BOTTLES?? Some of us like drinks in bottles so they don't spill in the car!

Little light on stocked shelves but after go through COVID. They were way better than then. The stocking levels have gotten much better. Still some holes here and there. The electronics section was the only really low and out with no earbuds at all.

I am employed by Dollar Tree and here is what I noticed. # 1 people don't want to fill out an application and if they do they don't want to work. So that puts more work on the employees and I believe they have come a long way since the new manager came in. Compared to what it was " empty shelves " no matter what we are doing we stop and help the customer first. Remember you don't know what someone is going through so always be kind !!# 2. It would greatly help if you decided not to buy an item to always put it back in the proper place. I see this more then ever...Have a blessed day

Worst customer service EVER. Prices went up, which is bad enough, but things arent even labeled clearly. I grabbed something in a dollar area that rang up for WAYY more than a dollar. I say i dont want them if its more than a dollar. First the woman has a snarky remark, saying the prices were marked CLEARLY on the shelf. When I reply it was in the same area as the other dollar items, she proceeds to nag that Management is super lazy, refuses to train anyone. I said, its not a big deal because i just wanted to leave, but she replied NO ITS NOT OKAY these lazy kids just dont want to work so now i have to do double the work. She proceeded to complain and nag about management and coworkers.The whole interaction was so, so uncomfortable and unprofessional. I will never go back to this location if i can help it. I feel sorry for her coworkers.

You'll find just about anything! Prices start at $1.25 and up from there (2023). There's vinyl/cricut making supplies, lots of markers/pencils, small craft kits/wooden crafts, sudoku/crossword/word search books/coloring books, LOTS of hot wheels and monster trucks/other toys, party supplies, a small variety of snacks, household/kitchen staples, and more.I always end up having to go down each aisle a second time because I'll miss something!

Not really a dollar store. Items are more expensive but prices are not marked. The store is fairly well organized but shelves are also somewhat empty. Many items can be found elsewhere for less, especially food items but some items are less expensive. There is plenty of parking but the parking lot is very dangerous. Employees are nice but then place is understaffed.

The Dollar Tree in Galesburg is very incompetent!! People lined up to check out for at least half an hour. ONE lane open. Finally the office door opens and out comes about 5 or 6 employees. They open only one more checkout lane. 15 to 20 customers waiting to checkout! This was ludicrous!! I finally just pushed my full cart to the side and left the store. I won't be shopping there again!!!

Cashier had major additude and was rude. Don't know if she was having a bad day or hates retail in general. Her customer service sucked. Wish they had a self checkout, at least I wouldn't have felt like I was a burden to be waited on. (Galesburg store location)

Busy place, seem to be out of somethings, but they were really busy. Friendly and helpful staff - prices went up .25 not a dollar store anymore, but people are still shopping here. Myself included.Birthday cards use to be 2 for $1 now 1.25 each. I guess we'll need to make our own.In old days couples would go to card shop pick out card for each other - read it and put it back in slot and then walk away without purchasing anything. I guess that was during depression era. Which feels that way with inflation that government is imposing on us presently.

So many things you can get at a fraction of what you pay at walmart. Single size frozen foods, condiments, baking, everything you need if it's just you. So many things for projects and crafts. I get nearly everything there.

Nice workers, has lots to choose from, everything is a dollar unlike other places that claim to be a dollar store. Wish they had more in stock but not too surprising with as many people shop there especially on paydays. They take EBT and Snap. Food, party supplies, goodies, stocking stuffers, and seasonal items.

Love it!! So many things for every occasion. And just $1....or less! I have kids, grandkids, neighbor-kids who ALL like to make things. There are tons of items to craft with, party decorations for any day of the year, cards, candy, you name it. The first time I went was around Halloween several years ago. I spent $200 in 2hrs and filled 3 carts. Staff is super friendly and will help you find whatever you're looking to buy. They even have gift cards.....😀

The new store is definitely a lot better than the old one and laid out more efficiently. It is nice to see something go into the old walmart building with most of it being empty for as long as it has been.

Like how some of the cleaning stuff. And medical stuff are cheap there. I've bought cooking stuff . like spatulas. Spoons. Tongs. And so on . even drinking glasses. Not for alcohol.I don't drink. Its a nice place. Cards like baby shower. Birthday.Christmas. wedding. So on are cheap also. Nice store I love it

The cashier sara was the rudiest i never see in my life, she makes a mistake on my order and wants to give me glasses instead of plates by yelling at me. I wanted to see her manager and she lies to me that it's her. I came back the next day to see the real manager and she found my order. sara besides not doing her job well, she is rude and a liar. I hope she will be fired. Remember that name everytime you tp dollars three/galesburg "SARA"

Great place to stop to get food and extras for the campgrounds near by. Without spending a lot of money. This is a everything is a dollar store not a Dollar General. I hope they stay true.
