We took our 1 year old cockapoo for first time to get groomed after moving from the city and the service was excellent. The facility is very clean and it has a large parking lot for customers.They initially asked me about the length and style that we were looking for and we brainstormed together with some areas that needed to be fixed. They reassured me that they were going to try to do their best. A few hours later, I picked him up and I was very pleased with the attention to detail and how well he was groomed. I’m definitely going to take him there again.

Went in here this past week with my rescue pup who looked more like a cousin to the Grinch than an actual dog and we had an amazing experience! One of the ladies there was able to take us right back and gave Mac (my pup) a quick toe-hair and under-pad trim and was incredibly kind and patient with the nervous wiggle monster (who's never been to a groomer before). After, we were directed to the wash station and given de-shedding shampoo and tips/tricks on how to do everything efficiently. The de-shedding shampoo is magic, and you can't convince me otherwise. After, we went to the dryer station and Mac wasn't a huge fan of the dryer, but after a little tip from the groomer, she was able to tolerate it more. After the bath, they have treats you can buy to spoil your pup. They also have other pet gear that I think mostly comes from local vendors. Overall, everything was affordable and of amazing quality. We will be making the trip up every few weeks :)(Attached is a photo of my clean/happy dog (who is of course hiding her beautiful toes) to boost!)

We had a delightful afternoon here washing our dog! Full service was available and appeared highly competent! They were very helpful while we washed, and were kind enough(for a regular fee) to clip our dogs nails when we were done. Would definitely go back, and plan to, many times.

Absolutely horrible experience with their dog grooming services...DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG FOR GROOMING. I take very good care of my dogs coat and she gets groomed every 5 weeks. I told the owner Deborah I do not under any circumstances want her shaved. She had a couple of mats but nothing bad and Deborah had brushed her out just a couple weeks ago. After less than an hour of her being there, Deborah called me and said she had to shave her, she couldn't groom her, it was taking too much time to brush her. I told her no shaving and if she didn't want to groom her, i'd pick her back up. When I picked my dog up, My dog was clearly very upset and seemed off. When I looked at her belly, she was completely shaved to her pink skin in patches, it was a complete butch job! The owner was rude and unapologetic to me and acted like we had inconvenienced her. The place has horrible chaotic energy and stress, I will NEVER step a foot back in there. My dog has been sleeping all day and has been totally out of it, I'm very concerned. Do not sent your dogs here please! I brought her to another groomer afterward to look at her coat and he said her coat is in great shape and it's no issue to groom her. I'm beyond disturbed that this woman calls herself a groomer and worried for any dogs brought here.You called because you didn't want to do her and you did say you needed to shave her that you weren't sure you could do her otherwise, that is frightening if you've been a groomer for 35 years and couldn't groom my dog. She has been to another groomer every 5 weeks and has had no issues and as I said, I took her immediately to another groomer after we left your shop and he didn't understand why you thought she needed to be shaved and was honestly we were both shocked when we saw what you did to her belly. So honestly, you do deserve this review and I don't want other dog owners to have such a traumatizing experience with their dogs too. I really don't understand how you can groom for 35 years and not be able to handle a doodle groom. You even brushed her out 2 weeks ago, so you had already seen her coat previous to today.

Stephanie was awesome! Went in to ask a couple questions and they had time to cut my dog's nails. She was caring and thorough! Recommend. Also, have self-washing stations.

It was my first time trying this place because a lot of people recommended me them.Everything was okay at the first sight, until I got home and checked her body(you can see the picture). I found a fresh wound and of course no one told me about this. I specifically asked when picking up were there any problems or concerns? Answer was no. It is a serious mistake and it is a concern that should be notified when people pick up their dogs. Very unprofessional, bad customer service and very negligent!

This place is so awesome! The owner is very helpful and friendly. For $20 you get a professional set up and all the supplies including brushes, shampoo, towels, ear wipes, & dental wipes! Genius! I will never wash my large furry dogs at home again! She also offers a la carte nails and other services that I am not comfortable doing, in addition to full service grooming. A++

I have been struggling with trimming my French Bulldog's nails but I was delighted that the staff here were able to take care of Tina! I called and the staffer invited me to just walk in and a few minutes later I was in and Tina's nailed were quickly trimmed. They were so friendly and made us both feel comfortable. Well done!!! The owner was inexplicably rude and aggressive. My husband dropped our dog off and was told that the grooming would take approximately 2 hours. After 2 hours had passed, I called THREE times to ask for an update as I had a work call to attend shortly thereafter. No one answered.Since we live nearby, I decided to stop by for an update. I found my dog in distress - panting and whining uncontrollably. My dog has never reacted to a groomer like this before. While I spoke to the assistant groomer and tried to calm him down, the owner decided it was appropriate to yell at me and told me to take my dog home (even though they had not even started to groom him).This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I didn't raise my voice, make accusations, or otherwise act inappropriately. The owner needs to adjust her attitude and treat customers, and their dogs, with respect. There are plenty of comparable groomers in the area - take your business elsewhere

Great experience. Tubs are easy to get into and seemed comfortable for my big guy, lots and lots of towels not to mention a miracle shamwow type of cloth (bought one on the way out), separate drying station, nice products. We took up a lot of time and did not feel rushed. He's a shepherd so that double coat takes a while and he had to soak in medicated shampoo. I balked at the $20 but it is well worth it.

We have a new dog that was an abused rescue. She was extremely anxious and the spotless people were wonderful in working with her! She looked beautiful and “survived” the trauma. No question we will be going to Spotless!

Best place in the Evanston area to take your dirty pet! Spotless Dog Wash is literally a godsend for anyone who has experienced trying to bath their dog at home. This takes less effort and you know you aren't going to spend a evening drying your personal bathroom off. They even accommodate larger animals (Irish Wolfhound Types). Also the staff is very well informed about many animal related news and current local events and gatherings. You must stop into Spotless!

I have been everywhere to have my dog's nails trimmed.... It never goes well, typically it takes 2 people to hold her down and everyone is traumatized. Here the owner and my Stella on the sat on a floor pillow, and then proceeded to give the best pedicure! Stella actually gave kisses during her treatment as opposed to making a run for it!

In Chicago proper they want $100 to wash, only WASH! our big black lab. He also refuses to get into our tub at home. Spotless has a large step-in tub for him and all the supplies. Tried the de-shedding shampoo and conditioner today and already very happy about it. This is the only place we’ll wash our furry guy as long as we live here, and as long as this place is open!

I sit here in the parking lot after driving quite a ways, only to find the shop closed. The hours posted on the door indicate it should be open. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The last time we had WALKED the 2 1/2 miles to get here and it was hot. It does say CLOSED on the website, but I didn’t check that because Come here often and know the hours.. The owner is not friendly, nor really unfriendly. She just doesn’t make much effort in that regard. Sometimes it’s not too clean, but usually it’s OK. I wouldn’t write this if it was the first time, but I’m not too happy right now. Check the website before coming.
