HH has been around for decades. Two commentsHH always had a roster of crude, unpleasant male salespersons. It is truly amazing how consistent this was for the four decades I have known this business. However, lately, their customer service has improved.

This is a very friendly and family owned hardware store. It is wonderful to be able to walk there and get all the help you need to fix whatever you have in your old house in the neighborhood. Highly recommended from a customer of 41 years.

I have been going to Harold's for years and they are so helpful every time.They have everything you might need, and usually in various sizes, eventho you can't see all their inventory. Very knowledgeable staff. Even ifyou don't know what that little "thingy" is that came off the inside waterpipe, they know what you mean and have one in the right size toreplace it. Won't find that level of attention and service in the big boxstores.

I have read all the comments about Harold's and they are wonderful. I agree whole heartedly with every one of them. Its a family run business - all men and Sue. She is amazing - Last summer we could not figure out how to hang my geranium planters on the wrought iron railing. We told her our thoughts and she went right to it - created the best hanging situation we could have wished for and her idea saved us a ton of money. How 'bout that?!! They are all always smiling, calm and ever so helpful. Why go anywhere else when Harold's has it all!!
