$ Would definitely return.Food was not crazy remarkable but was not bad either. Rotating specials are always a good sign of something made with care. The bacon was honestly significantly better than just fried crispy bacon but this pig was happy to be bacon.Service was great. Our waitress was the one with the cute pink nails and she was lovely. Provided honest suggestions and was helpful with some service stipulations.The atmosphere is great just a historic building-turned bistro so that the dining room is kinda small. Nbd.Parking: Depending on the day, traffic, finding parking may be challenging.

Will not return. Another restaurant charging CC fees onto the customer. If you want people to pay cash.. say you're a cash only establishment... or offer a legitimate discount for paying cash.There are also often older gentleman (every time I have dined here in past almost going back 10 years - back when they were cash only) who are (I am sure loyal customers) speaking loudly with fowl language and anger in their hearts. It is distasteful.

My husband had the Beef Pita Melt today and I had the Turkey BLT. Trying to cut down on carbs, so I asked for the sandwich to be made as a wrap and substituted a salad for the fries. Misti took our order and said the substitutions were no problem at all.The pita melt was outstanding. The cheese was ridiculously good. Not sure what it is but need to get some for home. The Turkey BLT had nice crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes and lettuce and thick cut pieces of turkey breast.We eat here at least weekly and have never had a bad meal. Service is great too. Misti, Mikalah, and Cheryl always make you feel welcome.

Diners usually have a from freezer to microwave quality, but not here. The food was delicious and appeared to be homemade. Banter between waitresses and the kitchen was entertaining as it added to the small hometown vibe. At the end of our meal we were asked if we'd like "to-go" refills of our beverages. A first for me at any restaurant that wasn't self-served fast food. Might be my new favorite diner.

I have been here several times. I normally get an Omelett. Today i only wanted eggs cooked over medium. I have ordered eggs over medium here before but they always come over-easy and very runny. 😝 i told the waitress i wanted my eggs over medium and the cook always does it over easy but that i really want over medium. Of course the eggs came over easy and very very runny. I won't be back until your cook learns to cook an over medium egg. Please let me know when that happens. The owner and staff are very nice, the diner is clean. But the cook, UGH.

Nice local eatery, very clean and well organized. Food order taken rapidly and delivered quicker than I could finish my first cup of delicious coffee.Add to that prices that are very affordable and Rise N Dine will be on my 'return to' list going forward.

First time eating there since they opened. Had to do take out in effort to support our local small businesses because of the COVID19. It was good food, fair portions, and simple ordering. Would have preferred to dine in just for the full experience but will have to wait a little while to do that. Charming place and very kind owner we met at Christmas walk.

I drive 35 minutes from Elgin, just to eat at Rise-N-Dine! The prices are low and the food is great! It is a quiet, cozy atmosphere with the bonus of being served by friendly hot waitresses!Parking: I always get a spot right out front which is great!
