I was visiting Effingham, Ill the first week of March, and decided to visit HL before I left town. My experience was was awesome, the store was immaculate, shelves were full, and selections were numerous. The store Mgr Christie, was very friendly and supportive of her customers and staff. I was impressed that she was "working the floor", as she would have in a self owned business. When the check out line grew too long, immediately a that was taken care of...which was good because I spent $175.00 and tied up the check out for a bit....lol. This was a great experience, one I don't usually find in my home stores. Thanks, Gloria

Omg! This place is so amazing! Has almost anything you could think you may want! You get the chance I definitely recommend this place for a shopping hobby! Lol! Staff were helpful if we needed it and they seemed to have kept busy! 💘 it

They do have pretty good sales and pretty good selection, but check-out is a nightmare. I have walked out many more times than waiting the hour and a half for them to get through the three people in front of me.It’s actually faster to drive to Michael’s, and they have a better house brand anyway.

Yesterday I shopped at this Hobby Lobby and was beyond impressed with on of their managers. She was over the floral department , her name was Carol, and she went above and beyond what I’d expected in the way of helping me find what I needed , which was by the way not even in her department !! It was so refreshing to see someone in a management position sincerely care about my shopping needs and do whatever was needed to help!I truly was inspired by her level of care!

I always find something in home decor. The quality of everything is pretty good. My daughter is nuts about the yarn!! I wish you carried some eagle figurines. Great store!!

Latest project was a success for this first-timer! I'll update with the fully finished product when straps are complete and possibly more tulle. Layout of the store is confusing sometimes, it's easy to lose your sense of direction. Luckily, staff is extremely helpful and friendly! The fabric department lady ran us all over the store when we asked where things were, and we quickly became friends. Love Hobby Lobby, and the community within. Enjoy this tutu.

Enjoyed working at this HL. This store is always clean and stocked up well, especially considering covid shortages. Staff are hardworking and helpful. Great place to find gifts, decor, or craft/art items.I have a lot of artsy hobbies and this place is my go to, aside from online shopping. HL is my favorite place to by yarn. Yarn Bee and I Love This Yarn is nice to work with. I also buy beads, jewelry making supplies, woodworking, polymer clay, paints, soap making, leatherwork, and other craft kits here. Some hobbies have a very limited selection compared to others, such as stained glass, candle making, train models, etc.

I love the variety of decorations/crafting projects you can purchase here. The place is clean, tidy, and small enough to where you can find most of what you are looking for with ease. The building itself though isn't exactly small. Everything is just organized pretty well, so if you need an idea for a birthday for a friend or family member, this is the place I would go if they are into decorations or hand made gifts! The picture below is just one small project you can take on!

Pretty sure Cheryl Wright reviewed hobby lobby just so she could be the first one. Considering her review was 12 days before the store even opens. She also listed the address wrong it should be 1006 N Keller Dr. Not 6001.Slow up there cheryl lets given a chance to get the doors open!

Always have great sales on what's in stock. For only opening a week ago they were out of a lot of items. Check for online coupons before you go. Be prepared for a long check out process, as they don't have scanners, they just enter everything by hand. Was also overcharged on clearance items but I'm sure once I bring everything in they will correct it. Double check your receipts.

Hobby Lobby is one of the most unique stores you'll ever find and Effingham Hobby Lobby is a perfect example. I found so many gift ideas it was hard to pick. Friendly helpful workers were easy to find.

Love this store. This is one of the best Hobby Lobby stores in the area. I can always find what I need there too. Whether you are looking for gifts or items needed for craft projects, this place is awesome. The staff at this store are also very professional and nice to their customers. Which for me personally is a bonus. If you are in need of supplies or looking for that special gift do give this store a try. You won't be disappointed.
