Usually this dollar tree is the one I go too bc of the friendly staff and large selection of items, but today changed that for me. Whoever the manager on duty was this morning was an awful human being. SHE spilled hot coffee on herself and chose to take that out on the sweet girl working. Then proceeds to go in the "office" and start loudly talking poorly of the staff. Idk who she is but she shouldn't work in the public or be management of any kind. For that I will choose a different store to shop at.

The East Alton, Illinois' Dollar Tree 🌳 store is the best 👌 always fully stocked and I can always find and purchase everything on my list and at affordable prices. I spent $105.00 today and was happy 😊 I usually spend around $60.00 but because I live in Granite City, Illinois and catch the bus 🚌 I stocked up.

Extremely happy with my visit to the East Alton location! Jaren & Braydn were awesome! From the phone call to Braydn helping me in the store; everyone was super helpful & had a great attitude! They also have multiple people who can use the helium tank! Will be coming back to this location & avoiding the Alton store!

This dollar tree is actually farther from my house than the other one in the area but my mom recommended this one & since she's a former dollar tree store manager I took her word for it and I'm glad I did. This was definitely the biggest dollar tree I've seen so far and tons of items to choose from. The only bummer was that they only had one set of baby clothing hangers, but after leaving here we stopped by the other dollar tree and they had none at all, so I guess one is better than none!

I don't know which employees white Harley Davidson siting in the handicap space is but seems lazy and not caring for the ones that need it. The tall white guy seems to not want to work there long if there's 14 people waiting in line at one register you don't just walk by and tell everyone your on brake very bad customer service and would hate to know who the manager is for that store.

This store is in a former Walgreens so it’s larger than most Dollar Trees, which is a bonus. However, when I was there on May 24, 2020, one of the women stocking shelves was coughing a lot. This was during COVID and during the state lockdown, so we tried to distance ourselves from her. Meanwhile, we filled the cart with probably $50 worth of merchandise. When we got to the checkout line, the cashier was the same woman who had been coughing while stocking shelves. She was wearing a mask but it wasn’t covering her nose so it was useless. The thought of her touching every item in our cart disgusted us, so we just abandoned a cart full of stuff and immediately left the store.I love Dollar Tree, but the employees weren’t enforcing the use of masks for themselves or customers. People were in the store without masks and that employee wasn’t properly wearing one while coughing up a lung. As a responsible corporation, Dollar Tree must (1) insist that employees take sick time, (2) pay for employee sick time, (3) require employees to wear masks properly, and (4) enforce their masks-required policy that’s posted on the door. Epic fail for this Dollar Tree location.

I always enjoy shopping at the Dollar Tree in East Alton. Their store has a greater variety of items than Alton store, and the employees are friendly and will to assist without making you feel as if it's an inconvenient interruption.

Parking fairly close to the entrances/exits is always readily available, they're almost always VERY well stocked, and the associates are quite helpful.Inside and out, the facility is wheelchair-accessible.

They had just what I was looking for. I might pay a bit more, but it was still cheaper than even Dollar General. I enjoy the variety of different soft drinks and snacks.

Very rude employees and manager! I can never go into this store and have a good experience without some type of issue! The guy there is very rude and it’s sad the manager that works there takes up for the rude workers without even hearing what happened! I drive across town to another dollar general! If they keep this up they will have no customers!
