Best and only Drive-in in the area. Definitely worth the trip if you want to experience the Drive-in movie. You must bring cash to enter and buy concessions. Staff is friendly and service is fast considering food is cooked to order. Because you are outside the sun and stars adds to the nostalgia of a time when Drive-in theaters were common.

Opened in 1954. It was like a step back in time. Placing those speakers on my car window definitely made me feel like a kid again. Fun family atmosphere. Be sure to look at the stars too! A must go outdoor theater.

So happy they are continuing the tradition! New bathrooms! Port-A-Potty is still available and now the restrooms are back open to the guests. Great for stargazing, hot or chilly nights, and great entertainment. Everyone is friendly, price is a great deal!

This was my first drive in theater experience and I absolutely loved it. It helped that we had the perfect vehicle for it, but I think I would have loved it no matter what.It was an amazing throw back to a bygone era. The picture was clear, the board had some flaws, that I quickly stopped seeing a few minutes into the movie. The atmosphere was amazing, we brought our 6 year old son, and this being our first time, we forget any sort of frisbee or balls to play with while we waited for dusk; However other kids included him in their play and that crisis was resolved. The food is fairly expensive for what it is, which is off the shelf products, but given the remote location I'm not expecting a 3 star restaurant. They also don't stop you from bringing your own food and drinks. You get to see two movies, but movies start at dusk, which for us was almost 9pm we left after the 1st movie since our son was tired but you'd be able to stay and watch the second movie if you wanted. This would turn it into a very late night party, which sounds amazing, but alas, I had a 6 year old who wanted his bed!I will definitely be coming back, make sure you bring cash. The tickets and food can only be bought with cash.

It was so awesome to go a drive in again. It had the Nostalgia feel to it which made it even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return and watch more movies. Thank you for being there. It was worth the 80 mile one way trip šš

I've loved the drive-in my whole life. It's perfect for kids, they can run around in front of the screen before the first movie. It's perfect for a date night. It's just a perfect movie experience. With the sound being broadcast over radio, you can keep your windows rolled up to keep the bugs out. They have a digital projector and the quality is great. You can get good, hot food. They have all sorts of things: burgers, nachos, pizza, even shrimp baskets! Also, you can't beat the price. You get 2 movies for the price of 1. Make sure you get there early enough to get a good spot, especially if they're playing popular films. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's great that they are open again & I think everyone should experience this drive-in. There are others but this one is very special.

5 stars for the nostalga and setting, 3 stars for the food... the popcorn just tasted funky and the elephant ear sticks were very oily. You can't beat an old time drive in with the little metal speakers that hook to your car window. We had some struggles with the audio but if you can get your car radio to cooperate, it would be fine. Come early as the front was filled with jeeps. Bring your dog...we didn't know this was an option.

One of only a few drive-ins left. Great place. Fantastic snack bar. We go to it several times throughout the double features! Go to a movie there. Keep this place financially alive

Loved it here! A very kind owner who spoke to us. He thanked us for visiting. We will be back. The snack area was very clean. The whole experience is a must see.We saw a double feature and the sunset all in one night. We even saw the moon. Come early. The place fills up quickly. Opens at 7 pm.

Classic Americana! A time warp back to the 1950's! Great for date night or a fun filled family night. Fri, Sat, Sun double feature. Home-cooked food. Arrive early and enjoy the open spaces, old school playground, toss the ball around and set up your custom š„ going experience. Chairs, blankets, bug spray ā Pet friendly (provided they behave)! Prepare for a late night. Rolled out at 1AM this morning š Don't miss out on a GREAT piece of American history, friendly people, and a quickly disappearing experience.

There aren't many of these places around, unfortunately. It was quite a drive, but worth it for our family. Price was extremely reasonable, lots of parking spots, there's a concession stand and porta potties. The *only* thing is it's next to train tracks so if a train goes by, you can't hear. But we loved it.

Had lots of fun seeing Barbie a couple weeks ago! Concessions were great and had a very positive experience overall! Hoping they stay open late enough into the season to catch some spooky flicks š»

Last nite the 2nd movie was Forbidden Planet. That is in my top 5 movies of all time.Seeing this 1950s classic on a drive-in screen was an early Cristmas present.Earlier in the year I watched John Carpenters, the Thing. These movies make the drive-in an event. Rt 34 drive-in has quickly become my favorite movie theater.

I absolutely love the drive in. I love having the comfort of what you have to bring with the amenities that places like this have to offer. It's always a good time and a fun trip to come and visit. It feels like I'm taking a step back in time and a trip far away from everything when I come to a place like this. Definitely come by.

Some of my best memories as a kid. Just recently went with my fiance & had an excellent time. The food is very reasonably priced & wasn't half bad. The little contact we had with any staff was decent. I suggest having a radio in your car that works as the speakers aren't the greatest quality.& To top it off, my favorite part was NO mosquitoes!

A little bit of a drive, but the drive is actually part of the experience! My kids love going and you get a double feature for the price of entry! Great to be able to give my kids this memory...recommend to anyone with kids who want to give them a unique memory!

We have always loved coming here! There's something so nostalgic about it. So many old memories and now making new ones with my own kids. Movies under the stars are the best. I'm so that Route 34 remains! This is still on the summer bucket list, so we will be coming back soon!

Super retro drive in theater that hasn't changed in decades. Plenty of wide spaces to park big vans and trucks. Most of the speakers don't work, so bring a portable radio with you! Staff is super friendly, food is surprisingly good. They play fun, old cartoons between movies. Everyone is in a good mood and they often set up picnics with lawn chairs instead of staying in their cars. Great date night, or family picnic outing.

Very nice evening overall. Could have been amazing if only they would do a bit more maintenance. Busy weekend so by the time we went on Sunday, porta potties were disgusting. Screen and speakers need work. They advertised opening at 6:30, however, they opened at 7:00.

I grew up with this drive in. It's has always been really great! Green rivers and Really big popcorn. Great food and good movie selections!! Bring your pillows, blankets, and one of those blue tooth radios so your car battery doesn't run low. It's a classic experience that everyone should have!

I'm glad that this place is still here. It's a true American icon that is becoming a thing if the past (drive ins). It's family friendly, priced right and the food they sell is very good. If you're looking for nostalgic Americana I would definitely check this place out.

I love this place for its good wholesome family atmosphere! I love how it has a very original old feel to it and how little it has changed since I was a kid. The movie, drink, and meal prices are reasonable. They sell french fries and deep fried shrimp. Along with popcorn, pizza, and drinks. They also still show a Bugs Bunny cartoon before the first movie of the night.
