Small town service with Ace Hardware's famously high level of staff expertise helping you figure out just how to handle your project.I'm sure there are lots of places to get "stuff" cheaper if you're ok with getting stuff that may not work quite how you needed or wanted them to. I'm going back to Ace, pay them once and get the job done right the first time. My wasted time, trouble, and trips back to the cheaper place over the years have shown me where the real bargain is!

I recently purchased what I thought was a battery operated weed trimmer. After opening the box when I got home I realized I had got a an electric model. I immediately put it back in the box and returned it with the receipt the next day. The store manager made me feel like I was trying return a used item! She took it out of the box and went over it with a fine tooth comb. She finally agreed to refund me. Customer satisfaction was not her top priority! Everyone says to shop local! No way! I will never shop at the Dwight Ace again! Hello Amazon!!!

it's always a pleasure to conduct business here. everyone you encounter is always super helpful and incredibly friendly. the store is always in pristine condition and the outside is organized and allows ample parking

Very nice Ace! Lots of stock! This is the nicest Ace I've ever been too and has very friendly, very helpful employees. It's becoming rare to walk into a store these days and have an employee ask if you need any help. HERE, I ALWAYS get asked!! Love it!

I went in at 8am this morning after struggling with a clogged kitchen sink for 2 days. When I walked in the door I was greeted by a smile and how can I help you. I expressed my problem and the lady showed me what I thought I needed. When I expressed my concern that I wasn’t sure what I needed. She excused herself and within a minute another lady came to help me. I just want to say the knowledge of products and ability to explain in detail was fabulous. My drain is running perfectly and it’s only been1 hr. Cannot thank you enough

Had a pipe break in our house and we didn't arrive until right before closing time, which is a terrible thing to do. Yet everyone there was gracious and extraordinarily helpful in finding what we needed to get it fixed. Top notch customer service.

Can I give them 5 more? I have never had a bad experience at this Ace. Their customer service is perfect! I've gotten great advice on projects. Great selection of outdoor items. They have 2 of my favorite thing. Dots pretzel brand everything! and the Carolina nut company peanuts. They go quick so shop early and often!

Last week I get 2 bags of bird feed for $18 this week I get one bag for $14 but you want us to support our local businesses tell our local businesses stop ripping off the little people I won't spend another dollar at ace hardware. We bought about 5 gallons of different colors of outside paint. The clerk was so helpful, she really knew about paint!Then we went to look at screws or nails to hang pictures. Another clerk saved us so much grief. We were thinking we had drywall in our newly purchased home. He told us older homes probably have plaster. Yes, we do!Friendly and knowledgeable salespeople! Love this store!

A lot of the aces around can be hit or miss, but Dwight Ace is great. The staff is super friendly, very helpful, and the owner or manager (not sure which) was super friendly. He had his dog with him which is always a plus in my book lol. Noticed I had mine introduced himself to me and my dog. Very enjoyable encounter.

Some of the people have been there from when i was young back when the store was Bertas. When i was always playing with all the jelly worms. I bought paint to paint my moms house and when i grew up i bought paint for my first house. Bertas has always been there for whatever ive needed. The store and the workers are fantastic. Thanks for always being there for me throughout the years. I definitely give 5 stars

They always have what you need to get the job done. May be a little higher priced than some but I only live two blocks so its better than driving 35 or 40 miles to get the same thing. Price difference is negeligble in what you save in gas, wear and tear on you vehicles and frustration of other idiots on the road.

I went in for a lock. I showed the older gentleman a picture on my phone of what the lock looks like and he sold me the wrong long lock. Before I paid for it I said are you sure it will fit and he said yes but it did not. Was a waisted trip. Also noticed their prices are very high.
