We were traveling from Indianapolis tonight to visit my in-laws. My children are small, and we were showing up to eat at about their normal bedtime, which is important context. First, they told us that they didn’t take reservations, but the table next to us had 12+ people and told us that they had made a reservation. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table.The waitress was nice at first, but didn’t take our drink orders for way too long. We still didn’t have menus. Once we finally order and had been waiting over 45 minutes, she tells us that our appetizers had been given to another table. She hadn’t checked on us in about a half hour.We finally got the appetizers, which were good. We then got our food out in small pieces, sometimes by other wait staff. We were unsure where our waitress was. About half of us had our food by 8:00 pm (9:00 our time). One of my children never even received his meal. We think she forgot to put our order in and then never checked on us enough to realize it.Everything was overcooked, including my pork chops, my wife’s burger, and her stepdad’s chicken tenders. After all of this (and being there for over two hours), nothing was even comped or offered to be. We are at home a half hour later eating a frozen pizza. I’ve worked in service and understand that mistakes happen. This felt intentional.

Edit from my original post: The owners have reached out and offered to make things right. They are sending a gift card and have studied the security cameras to ensure that things will get better.Long story short, we had a bad experience with the service. We waited for two hours and still did not get our food. When we did, it seemed like they had desperately tried to reheat it and then overcooked it.I am willing to give them another chance and probably will in the next year or so. Overall, there's a lot of potential here, and with owners who care, they will improve.

My wife's hamburger was good, but my Southern pork chop sandwich was terrible it was full of grissel and I couldn't eat it. I told our waitress, she apologized but didn't do anything else for me our bill was $42.00. First and last time for my business. She took over half of my sandwich back should of adjusted the bill accordingly............. Not happy at all.

Very much the same basic bar food as most rural places in the surrounding counties, with a pretty limited menu. A 25 min wait on a Wednesday lunchtime with only around 20% of tables full is not great.Friendly staffing, though pretty plain decor with lack of atmosphere in a bright, open, high ceiling building.
