What a terrific experience I had today at RP Lumber. The staff was welcoming, highly informative and generous with their time. The store was clean, well organized and I was able to get in and out quickly. Lastly, my experience with Bob Seyller in the Kitchen & Design department was something of legends. He took the extra effort to go above and beyond, and for that, RP Lumber is my new go-to for my business. Thank you, Bob!

We had a few hiccups with the cabinet manufacturer, but Bob was amazing every step of the way. Bob communicated with us daily, he stayed on top of the manufacturer, and he went over and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of for us. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone!

This company is horrible to work for. Before my company Alexander Lumber got bought by them we were striving in our line of business and the benefits and pay were amazing. Shortly after RP took over they took away paid time off, increased the insurance, and fired a bunch of people making over a certain amount. They changed the lumber quality and promoted people unqualified for positions. It is now a sweat shop that doesn’t pull in good revenue and sends out very poor quality products. We lost multiple customers due to our trusses breaking on job sites. If I was a contractor I would not go through this company, you are risking the lives of people you are building for.

RP Lumber is my go to for my remodeling business' doors, windows and kitchen remodeling needs. I cannot say enough about how professional, detail oriented and committed to the highest level of service Bob is. I know when I work up a kitchen with Bob, every aspects has been well thought out and no detail forgotten. I have sent many clients directly to Bob and all have had nothing but wonderful things to say and for that I am grateful!

I have a smaller car that would not fit a 4x4 or 4x8 sheet of plywood. I went to Lowes but their cutter was down. I went to Menards but they do not do cuts that large. Later I thought I'd try R.P Lumber. They made the exact cuts that I needed all of which would fit in my hatchback. I was sorry I had not thought of them before. Service was great. They will be my first choice from here on.

I had spent lots of time at hardware stores but my experience here was outstanding. Bob anticipated my needs, with a few questions he knew what I needed for my kitchen's ideas.I would leave 6 stars if possible.

I work for a construction company out of Addison, IL. Our regular supplier didn't have a product in stock and this was the nearest location we could find that had our materials.. Blair made sure we had a seamless process from beginning to end and handled all issues with efficiency and everything went perfectly. They really saved us and we would recommend them to anyone! Eric and Spencer also ensured the product was good to go before we drove all the way out there. Thanks so much again guys!

Horrible service from this location. Unreliable deliveries and return pickups, orders billed to the wrong jobs and no local accountability. After we pulled our business Ron Hansen and Bob Seyeller continue to publicly bad mouth presumably because we no longer do business there. Sadly other RP locations are better equipped and staffed, but this one doesn't live up to their usual standards.

One reveiw said Jordan was the best rep in town, my experience was the opposite of that, some of the 2x treated lumber anf the 6x6s wete good, the decking was horrible, they said it was premium but it indeed was not, I spent over 13k in materials building a deck last fall, most of it was purchased from Top Notch building supply in Pecatonica, the extra drive saved me hours of picking through junk wood at RP and dealing with an unprofessional rep at the counter.
