Today is Monday and this wonderful store is closed. Upon recognition of my vehicle they opened their doors to me. Yesterday my brother and sister in law bought a beautiful handsome Guinea pig. My sister in law was so excited, but realized she should have bought his cage mate. Again on their day to be closed, opened up their doors so I could surprise them with the cage mate AND made sure they didn’t have to wait. They know their animals so much that they knew which one I was talking about.. having never seen him. Healthy and loved critters along with all necessary supplies. So happy for these new owners.

The new owners of Three Rivers pet shop are so nice they helpful and I’m so lucky to go there 3 rivers pet shop is the best place ever. I had an emergency where a new bearded dragon laid eggs and they came to my “rescue “ loaning me an incubator. A store with healthy animals and strong family values is greatly appreciated. They are the most valuable people ever

The new owners are absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable people. They are working everyday to get prices to go down to unfix what the old owner put everyone through. The place no longer smells, and they redecorated beautifully. Animals are well taken care of, healthy, and clean. Please stop in and give this place a look for an amazing time with family and friends.

The new owners are so sweet.You should go there if you needed supplies. They gave us an incubator because of dragon laid eggs.They listened to us so they could help us out. Also caring enough to let me contact them after hours. Fun, knowledgeable, and caring.

This is the best I've ever seen the Pet Store in many yrs. Very clean with the nicest new owners. Large variety of fish, lizards, bunnies & guinea pigs, supplies etc. I highly recommend this pet store and wouldn't go any where else for my supplies (mostly crickets). Stop in and check it out all you animal lovers 😀

2yrs ago bought a do from previous owner I wasn't involved with that transaction action but looking and dealing g with this dog I have my ?? But this review isn't about that poor place that it was.This review is bout my time now with this NEW LOOKING GREAT PLACE. Walked in door and it was fabulous to see it in a open lay way. No smell like ur normal pet reptile fish store. The gentleman we dealt with these past 2 days was very helpful and on point with knowledge on all the different reptiles in the store. But they did have what I was looking for a iguana. Was wanting the emerald green but found this little red-tailed iguana and when we had r first interaction it was a mellow adventure and that made him feel like home.Daughters boyfriend also bought a reptile from there called a eruomastick lizard. If ur in the hunt for a reptile a fuzzy little bunny a chinchilla or anything u want to call a pet they have. Also have feeder mice and rats.Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. For any pet need. Awesome employees well mannered for customer service and care and their main care is the pets. Glad to see a fresh place like that out in a small town.

I cannot stress the improvements the new owners have made to this place! The animals are well cared for and there is a variety to choose from for those who are looking for scaly or furry friends lol. They have opened the place up so much to where you feel like you can walk without bumping into everything and let me tell you about the bunnies...the lop/lion bunnies are not only heart squeezingly adorable but they are so well handled and therefore easy to handle! Furthermore they are litter trained!!!! You can tell how much care and compassion the owners have for their animals and their customers, they were beyond helpful and so informative on the critters we inquired about. Small town businesses don't often thrive in this town but I hope and pray this one does. I love that the whole family is involved!!!! Pay these guys a visit, it's well worth it even just to take a look around like we did today...I'm fairly positive you will walk out either with a new pet or with the intent to get one because they are so well behaved and I can't stress this point enough...CARED FOR! Today was the first of many 3 Rivers adventures for our family ❤️

The new owners are absolutely amazing! Went in there to get feeder mice and worked out a deal on getting a adult bearded dragon and some food for it! Clean and nice place and they will share all the info they have on the animals!

Ok. So We stopped in beginning of Nov. 2023. My supplies that I needed were not in at the time. Very specific stuff,its not everyday inventory. That's ok. Was supposed to arrive week after, I have not followed up.I'm happy to see a real change there and a well cared for variety of animals. I will update as I go AND as I deal with new owners. The three star review is my starting point at the moment. I'm pleased with my visit.

The owners are fantastic and kind people. Ive gotten a Jackson chameleon and a bearded dragon from them. Place is super clean and the animals are healthy.

came here cause it’s close to feed my snakes.. asked the price of frozen mice 7 dollars for a single frozen mouse is absurd. i’m now driving 45 mins to get mice for 1.49 don’t go here to feed your snakes

Where do I start… I can’t tell you how proud I am of the new owner Cindy she has brought this shop to life from what it was a while back. When visit you can tell the animals are well cared for and socialize as much as possible. We adopted out 2 little bunnies from there on two separate occasions and we had nothing but the best experience! Everyone was super helpful and amazing with down to letting us have time over multiple visits making sure this was the right decision for our little family. I stop in just to check everything out often and every time I stop in I’m amazed at how much it has come up from what it was with the previous owner. I recommend stopping in to take a look and see how much this store has become an amazing pet shop! Cindy is the new owner and she’s an amazing person herself very caring and loving! Stop in and take a look at all the new changes and of course adorable pets they have to offer.

Honestly my new favorite pet shop! The employees here are extremely friendly, and knowledgeable without acting like they know more than you (like some pet stores can be).I brought my bunny in to possibly meet and bring home a new friend, and the girl working helped me find the right match for him. We also brought our ferrets to play with their baby ferrets and they had a fun time! The prices are pretty fair and the shop's cleanliness and atmosphere are so much better than when the previous owner had it. We'll definitely be returning in the future!

We’ve been in a couple times, everything is dusty, dirty or expired. We love shopping small businesses but they are really over priced. The employees are not knowledgeable, no customer service. I really hope things change soon!

Phenomenal place. Great staff and great stuff. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell all the animals are well maintained and cared for. All of them are very well fed and happy. Put your money in a place like this to keep them around. You will get a much better experience than if you go to a big box store. It's more personal, and you will know where everything comes from. I bought a snake and got a good deal and lots of information. The owner bought the business and revamped everything. It's impeccably clean and just a great atmosphere. She also took the time to look at the old log books to find out what specific sub species my snake was. You won't find a better experience at a large store like Petco. Give these guys a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Have been told multiple lies about aquatic animals that we bought. Told us that an axolotl was a bottom feeder fish that would be good in warm water. When in reality they're amphibians that need cold water. They're also super overpriced, might as well go to PetSmart. The owner told us to bring one of our fish back if it didn't work out and she would give us a refund, but she took the fish and refused to give us our money back. They have no clue what they are doing.

I wish I could give them a better rating. I love seeing family owned pet stores. They have a great variety of animals there and they were very friendly. However, it made me question if they know how to properly care for some of the animals. Every single gecko/ reptile was missing humid hide and/or a mister. All of them had old stuck shed on them, missing toes due to shedding issues from improper husbandry temps/humidity. One gecko looked to have MBD (tail was all kinked) and was about to die. Large panther chameleon in tiny cage, adult leopard geckos sharing a tank together and had a pile of feces in there that had to take at-least a month to accumulate. And over by the rabbit/rats it smelled awful!!!! The Guinea pig couldn’t open his eye, and had green pus coming out of it. The cages/setups were just sad. Even my daughter said she wished she could come to volunteer just to clean their cages and give them some attention. I think this place has some potential, I hope they take this review with some constructive criticism and look into the well being of these animals. No one wants to buy a sick animal that will most likely have to go to the vet and spend 100’s of $$$ on. Please do better. I’m not a professional, but I have had various animals my entire life. I have 17 reptile/amphibians, 3 birds, dogs and rabbits and none of them look or smell the way these animals did. I wish I took photos, if I ever stop in again I will, but after leaving i felt sorry sad and helpless for those animals it ruined my day - I didn’t want to come back.

Got my snake there. I have to say that it's the small town pet stores that are truly amazing people who have great qualities of being animal lovers. The snake is so happy and healthy... for that alone, I am thankful for the staff! My boy is strutting with his" cool 😎 look" on the fact that he has a new Red tail iguana 🦎!!!

I am appsolutly ecstatic about the friendly atmosphere and the owner/associates. Before the new ownership the store was so bad you couldn't even walk into the place because it smelled. Everytime we came in for fish food they owners were on their phones behind the counter instead of taking care of the pets and we would always find an animal that had passed away. Now when you go into the shop the employees are laughing and smiling while greeting you as you come in.. they are always checking on their animals making sure they have enough food and water through the day.. all of their animal's are super friendly so you knowledge they are handled and played with everyday. with the new ownership the animals are all loved by the associates. The store smells amazing for a pet store. my niece had gotten her bearded dragon from there before new ownership and the poor thing was so skinny. 😢now all of there animal's are healthy and loved.her bearded dragon is now very healthy and is loving his new life. His name is toothless.there puppy are adorable, loving and playful.too. Their fishtanks are looking so much better from before and there is such a homey atmosphere to the shop.

Very friendly and helpful. I asked question on website and they answered me back pretty quick. They were open on thanksgiving for a few hours and that was great. Some prices little high but mostly very reasonable. Animals look healthy and doesn't smell in there. I always come in and someone is cleaning. Good job keep it up it's nice having a pet shop out here.
