This is specifically about the hot foods section. I used to love coming here to get tacos because they were always the best, but it's definitely gone downhill. First off, the lady who takes orders always has an attitude as if you're bothering her by placing an order which I've always ignored, but she definitely needs to learn how to be better with the public. Secondly, we ordered 6 steak tacos, only to find out that half weren't edible. They were full of fatty pieces/cartilage. It was disgusting. Never coming here again. Pretty heartbroken considering I loved their food for years.

One of my favorite grocery store. It’s very organized and easy to find what you need. They provide many food types from all around. Customer service is always good, super friendly. I love the fact that you can always come and get food already prepared. This grocery store is such a great staple to our community.

I love this one more so than others! It's my favorite Pete's! Very friendly and knowledgeable, where merchandise are located in the store! I find myself enjoying the store, and lingering instead of hurriedly rushing through the store! I recommend this location very highly! Well lit organized and above all else clean!

As an over the road truck driver, my husband and I take every chance to go to a real grocery store and not an over priced mediocre truck stop. We delivered across from this particular Pete’s Market and walked over for a coffee. We were so surprised at this store! Their produce looked super fresh and piled high with yumminess! The deli was AMAZING!! So many options to choose from that were already made and hot. And you choose how much and what you want! And reasonably priced too. The bakery had a wonderful selection of Mexican paste ties and rolls. The coffee counter gal was sweet and made our order just right. And man…can we just talk about the meat department?!? If you can imagine it, they probably have it!! Very nicely arranged and prices were again, reasonable! I didn’t catch the meat managers name but what a nice man. Asked us where we were from and if we needed anything. The International section was filled with so much goodness!! We will definitely get back here again!!!!

Staff is excellent, but seriously? No security? No police? No nothing? So much sht happens in that parking lot and so many people begging for money or harassing me in the parking lot. Like I don't wanna deal with that sht when I go grocery shopping I work hard for my money and I expect to be protected by the store when I shop there. I no longer feel safe with pete markets , time to go to a farm and get my own veggies 👍🏽

My favorite grocery store I've ever been to and I've lived in five states and many more locals. Never found a grocery store with such a beautiful produce selection, fresh food for lunches or dinners, and a multicultural selection of food items that beats even small single cultural grocers. I love coming here, knowing I'll find what I need and more.

I visit Chicago regularly and shop at Pete's for groceries. Overall it's a nice store but my last trip to Pete's was disappointing, I purchased 3 pks of Wrights Bacon. When I cooked it a few days later I could tell it was old! even though the expiration date said 30 April! Which was a small white sticker. This was not stamped labeled on the package itself it was just a little white sticker on it. I didn't keep my receipt unfortunately so I couldn't return the unopened packages. I purchased more bacon from Sam's Club and expiration stamped on package Not a sticker was for May...the bacon was fresh not old like Pete's. So buyer beware when shopping at Pete's @E.147th Sibley.

I came here today, this area has changed a lot, it's getting worse every single day and every time I go to this petes location market I feel like I don't want to get robbed. I wanted to share this because a few weeks ago I came here and they really need to get the Chicago Police department to post up at the door. This is insanity, I'm literally never shopping at this petes again.It's crazy they can raise the price of their produce and their food and they're one of the most expensive around and I still shopped here but when it comes to keeping their customers safe they obviously don't care so as they don't care neither do I care to shop with Pete's.

Omgggg have you ever had the tacos?? You have to try them. This location is not only a grocery store, it also serve salads and hot foods!! But I want you to try the Tacos.. made to order!! The steak tacos are soooo good!! Great service TOO!!

A large variety of produce. Price are higher than expected in addition to considering the economy inflation. Overall, the atmorphere is very inviting from the time you enter the supermarket.

I am blown away by this store...the fresh fruits and veggies the hot food and salad bars are amazing the employees are smiling ALL THE TIME this says so much. I am here from another state on business and we do not have stores like this anymore the pandemic stopped this. This is a fantastic store !

Great prices. Good selection. Good quality fresh protein and produce. Nicely maintained space. Parking is pretty easy on weekday afternoons. I don't partake usually, but the hot bar/cold bar always looks great, too.

Freshest fruits & veggies I've ever seen in a grocery store. Hot bar has so many different options and is delicious! 😋 Also the bakery & the deli are fantastic I was really impressed. The staff are friendly & provide great service, thank you for a wonderful shopping experience! 😊

The store was very clean and well stocked with a vast selection of products, the staff were friendly and not overbearing. The reason for my Three star review is because of the most important factor when considering a supermarket, the value, the items are priced about 12-20% higher than what they should be. I stopped in at the Avenue O location to get a few things that I needed and was very surprised when my bill was $104.36 and I only purchased 26 items

THE. MOST. BEAUTIFUL. STORE. EVER!!! Produce was plentiful and beautiful! Their shelves were stocked and VERY neat! I LOVED it here! However, I didn't care for their store brand pumpkin seeds... too salty. BUT my niece LOVED their churros!

Very clean. Well organized and well sorted with vegetables, fruits, meat, etc. They have prepared food if you don't have time to cook. The only complaint is that they never have enough cashiers when the lines get a little long, but they're not as bad as Walmart lines.

Pro: Hot bar. That's all I have to say. It's SO much better than other Pete's locations!Con: The produce is fresh, but it doesn't last. I bought strawberries on a Monday, and they were molding by Wednesday.

It was very very clean, and the selection was fabulous. It's a big store and they had a really wide variety of everything. The fruit and veggies looked really good and fresh, the meat also looked good. The store staff was very friendly and helpful. I will go back.

Getting what I need from this store actually feels nice and convenient! They often like to change where certain groceries are on the stalls. They have a variety of sections to selling baked goods right in the store and fresh cut meats! Pete's also sells kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and other things that aren't food related. I like shopping here since its close by and they take EBT

This is now the 3rd time my family has bought ground beef from Pete's Fresh Market and it looks like this. Very unsanitary and can pose a health risk if consumed. Don't recommend purchasing beef here, look elsewhere for your ground beef.

I've been to other Pete's and this one is very organized, clean, and you can find items other Pete's don't carry. All of their shelves were fully stocked. I will definitely be returning.
