Jewel Osco is one of my dependable grocery stores. They open early (6am) and close late (12am). Jewel Osco also offers delivery to its customers which ends at 9pm every day.Now, you’re not going to find many erotic fruits or vegetables here but the basics are always in stock.Todays visit had me JUST a little disappointed. The reason being, when I entered the establishment at around 2:30pm the fruits and produces section had a few welting vegetables. I would’ve overlooked this if it were close to opening time (6am) but it was in the middle of the day. I just couldn’t help but wonder if they were more interested in sales or quality? IMO this cost them a star..All of Jewel’s associates are friendly and available to help you find anything in the store.Didn’t get a chance to checkout the restroom but I will be updating this review once I get a chance to return.

Compared to other Jewels, this one is much more expensive, which is incredibly disappointing because it's the only grocery store in walking distance in this area. For example, bottled iced coffee is $6 at other locations, but $7 here. Vegan cheeses are also $1 more expensive. The Jewels I used to shop at in more affluent areas were cheaper. I understand these are not "necessities" but it's a shame to see price gouging like this at a grocery store.I bought a bagged salad here last night and the lettuce was brown and soggy.You're better off going elsewhere because this Jewel is not worth it.

It's crazy to see that a company that's feeds people who knows financial hardships going on everywhere displays sales price that you have to jump through hoops on an app for.Nice way of playing the percentage game #jeweloscoThere is a big chuck of people 55 and over that have a hard time operating apps and smartphones in general. How many older people are on fixed incomes?Guess that's a good enough reason for them not to be qualified to save money buying groceries.

In the past month, I've been in this Jewel twice. First, their top shelf (for 2 liter pop) is incredibly high. You can't reach it. Second, their cashier's are extremely slow. I don't understand it? Six Corners is the best but the Jewel on Foster and Pulaski has a nice pop shelf. Everyone should follow their lead.

*DO NOT GET YOUR GROCERIES DELIVERED FROM THIS JEWEL LOCATION*..RARELY are your items selected properly. Staff seems to be too lazy to access some items, or read order list properly..I've received the WRONG QUANTITY of what I have ordered consistently on my last three orders..I ordered 6 bananas, only received 4..Or you won't receive an item on your order, that IS in stock!..(Milk)..The store in general is decent to shop in. But forget about ordering any type of home drop off orders from this location. Your order will more than likely be incorrect and you will be disappointed.

I haven't been to this store in a while but will go back. I'm vegan so fruit and produce are a huge part of my diet. The selection was great, the quality was great and the sale prices on some of the items were so good I couldn't pass them up. The store was clean, neat and well organized. Kudos to management for inspiring their employees to keep the store inviting.

I’m having my twins 1st birthday party and did not know I had to order catering for food waaay in advance, but I called here and Cheryl was very friendly and was able to squeeze us in! There will be food at the boys party and that’s all thanks to Cheryl! Thank you so much Cheryl!

Had an unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience with a cashier named Hunter. He was very rude to everyone in line. He seemed very visibly annoyed and irritated when doing his job. He also overcharged my mother for some strawberries and got upset when my mother didn’t receive her cash back right away, causing him to pound it onto the counter. We usually have positive experiences at this Jewel and with the employees, so this was very shocking and unprofessional on his end.

Every time I fly to Chicago, I need to stop by. Theirs wings are something. I go for honey one, there is also spicy available. Fresh, hot and delicious! Besides that they have a looooot of other food options and merchandise. Prices are reasonable for this area.

Excellent selection of Extra Sharp cheddar cheese , Clausen dill pickles in spears, halves, and whole. Pepsi on sale both ( real sugar, high fructose corn syrup ) Diamond Smoke house almonds and Triuscuits all easy to find and in stock. They were busy but we didn't have a wait at the self checkout and lots of good looking fruit in stock apples bananas dragon fruit etc. Massive parking lot , and access to Irving Park Rd. And Narragansett from their parking lot , definitely one of my favorite Jewel's to visit

Recently moved to the area. Since this is the closest Jewel to my new apt, have been here a few times. DONT BUY FRESH CHICKEN/TURKEY HERE! Each time I attempted to get meat, it has been expired and/or looks rancid. Will have to search for another Jewel for meat.

I used to shop @ this location for many years however I stopped because the staff was rude and the store is always filthy. In the past two months I've tried to place a catering order with the deli which I've done within the allotted time frame and there is always a problem as to why they can't fill the order. Not to mention the deli staff is extremely rude and behave as though do not want to be bothered. I contacted Dunning Square because I live a few blocks away it's convenient. However I then contacted Jewel on Lawrence and Central completely different experience. They were professional were able to fill my order and most importantly extremely kind. From now on I will travel the few extra blocks not only for catering items but groceries as well.

I've been to this Jewel before last year and it is usually not pleasant.Today the produce section was stocked and if it wasn't they were so nice to go in the back to get what I needed.In the meat area I asked a young lady for help she said yes ma'am I'll be with you right after I help this customer. She was very polite.Then another employee a young man heard her walked up to me and asked if he could help me. They were so helpful and polite to help me. I was really impressed with the service felt there was a big change in that store since my last visit.The only thing I wish I would have gotten their names to add to this review

Here is a big parking lot and lots of other stores around. I like sketches store. I do like in Jewel fried chicken wings they in my opinion are better than KFC and any other stores. No oil or over fried.

Just had a bad experience here with a cashier name Jenna L. Jena L was rude and ignorant towards me because I asked her for two bags only. Since I was paying for them I don't know where her attitude came from. I was never greeted by her and as I approached the counter she blurted out how may bags? I told her twice 2 bags with my mask on and again with my mask off, then I put up two fingers. Not sure any other way to communicate just two bags LOL! I told the manager, and he gave me the standard, "I will talk to her" speech. I knew he was lying. So whenever I have a bad experience I will put it here on Google. Nothing happens when you do the correct thing and report someone's behavior. It felt to me that Jena L was a racist or maybe she was mad that she had on makeup from 42 years ago. Glad I can find humor in unprofessional, ignorant, rude grown ups! Hey Jena L try a job with no interaction with the public! Two stars because I found the items I was looking for out of the sale, which is rare.

Nice grocery store. I have been coming here for years. Downfall. Their bathrooms are so old. Whoever cleans them must do a way better job. The smell, the walls, the floor, the garbage to the door handle and door itself. All those things are dirty always. It is just nasty at times when I go. They need to upgrade it.

It's not a good place anymore. In the parking lot you are attacked by young girls begging, papers and other rubbish floating around in the wind and dirty people rummaging through the products inside. I probably won't be visiting this place again anytime soon. I know it's not the store's fault but the open door policy. I'm sorry I have to find another place to shop

This is one of my 3 Jewels I visit. This one isn't to bad. It's fairly clean. A large parking lot helps. It's your typical Jewel with more selections due to its size. I prefer these bigger ones when it comes to items on sale since they sell in large quantities. The smaller locations usually run out quickly, especially on produce. Staff is alright. They are always stocking something, somewhere. Not that quick to offer thier services since they're "busy." You always have to ask for help. I'm old fashioned. I miss customer service like crazy.

I went to this store to ask someone what to do if I have a return item without any receipt. The guy at the customer service said he can help me if I bring the product. Next day it was another lady at the desk that she told me she can’t take the return without any receipt. This is annoying! First someone trying to help later another person refusing to help (didn’t like her attitude) Also I didn’t expect any problems with the product when I bought it. So I throw the receipt. I do love shopping at Jewel Osco a lot, I almost never had any issues with return or anything else, most of the time the staff is very nice and good service. I recently started to come this location and Really dislike it, won’t come back again.
