I genuinely don't know what to say. We've brought our dog multiple times and the grooming was always fairly decent, but this is a travesty. I have no idea how the groomer thought this was acceptable. The request was to clean up his face and leave it short or lightly shaved on top for his eyes - they completely sheared his whiskers down to the snout. His whole body is trimmed oddly and unevenly.And then they had the nerve to charge 70 dollars after messing up like this. We're never coming back, needless to say, because the standards have clearly gone to absolute garbage.

I will always recommend ibark to any dog owner, when i first got my dog i would take her to other grooming places in the area and none of them felt right. my baby would always look unhappy and scared going in, but after taking her to ibark for the first time you can tell it was an incredibly different experience for her!! the prices are great and the staff is friendly. the groomers on the other hand always do a phenomenal job and always send her back in the cutest bows and bandanas. needless to say, i’ll forever be taking her back ❤️

Lady was so kind and loved the way she took care of my dog. There was some parts of his face that she said she didn’t want to hurt him and I appreciate that she cared about my dog. Great place to go but you do need to set up an appointment

Have been coming here a couple years and they do such great work! Staff is so friendly and thorough and my girl always comes back cute and soft every time. Highly recommend!!

I’m been going here since it opened on Central and Belmont, it’s always a great experience. After lots of bad experiences and overpriced groomers I’m glad this place opened up close to home. They’ve always handled my pets well, they’ve never cut them or irritated their skin, and always follow through with what I ask of them. The staff is always friendly and professional, welcome to answer all my questions. I’ve also see them groom cats for anyone looking.

This place is always so incredibly friendly when I call. They are very warm and welcoming when you walk in. I liked that my dog was able to walk around after her grooming while she waited for us. It could be because she's so big they didn't have a cage big enough. Hahah. Regardless, she seemed happy when we picked her up. Prices are a big high, which is why I gave 4 stars.

I would 100% recommend this place, specially for small dogs! I love the service and we’ve only had a positive experience with this grooming salon. Our pup was quoted for $55, which is a phenomenal price for the service they give!

i’m so happy i found this place. after bad experiences with petsmart i decided to take my puppy somewhere else where they actually care for pets and this place is it! Juan did such an amazing job with him and my puppy isn’t use to grooming at all and does tend to cry a lot but he still managed to have him look amazing ! <3 I will continue to take my oreo here . thank you Ibark

They work well with difficult dogs, and they do a great job. I'm always happy how my dog looks afterward. Appointments are quick ,but during busy times, you may have to wait a week before getting in. But well worth it.

First time going to Ibark! The same day we called they answered fast and gave us an appointment right away . My Dog Bella seemed like she enjoyed it all , came out whiter than ever and so excited . Sure will be taking her there more often ! First timers get $10 off ! 🐾🐾🐾🐾 , plus they add a cute bandanna to your fur baby such a cute touch ! Thank you ibark .

It took me a while to find a groomer that I can trust with my dogs. I took them twice already and have not had a problem unlike other groomers. They have friendly staff. I appreciate that they keep my girls together instead of separating them. I highly recommend them.

Everytime me and my little furry one goes here he never has a problem going to them. They are just great with him. And I never have any complaints, he always looks great and he's a happy camper. I recommended them to a friend for her pomeranian puppy and my friend is never happy, lol, but she was happy with them and how her new puppy came out.

My dogs are always happy when I take them for grooming at Ibark. The people there are very friendly and my dogs love going there. I can tell they care about the animals and it makes me feel good to know they treat my babies with love.

I was quoted $120 for 2 akitas. $60 each. I asked multiple times and told them one was a Long hair akita and one was short. When I dropped them off I was asked if they were getting deshedded, I said I had not planned on it how much will that be. He said $10 extra each. So im under the impression they'd be $140. 6 hours later I go to pick up my dogs and was told $260. No one called me to tell me about the cost increase, obviously I was upset. I believe it was the owner I dealt with. I expressed my frustration at the $120 increase without consent. I also asked how much if we brought them back, to which he replied $120 for the long coat and akitas start at $80 for the short coat. Then why was I told $60 each dog? He apologized but did not offer anything else for the confusion. We had gone camping so my long coat dog was pretty tangled and matted behind her ears. I will say they did a fantastic job. The best grooming they have ever had. If I was told $260 up front I would have gone elsewhere but everytime I look at my puppers they are sooo floofy and clean. If you do not have a high maintenance dog I would highly recommend this shop. I paid because they obviously did the work but I would recommend bringing your dog in and getting the quote from the owner before you have a 54% increase to your expected cost. Now that know the cost and the lack of responsibility on the shop for misquoting me I should not go back but WOW do the dogs look amazing.

If you are looking for a professional and friendly staff this is not the place !I brought my dog for a grooming service, the haircut was horrible, it was chopped and uneven me. They also did “teeth cleaning” to me that was not done because his teeth were looking the same.One time they forgot to do the teeth cleaning, they always forget something and you don’t get compensated for it. I asked the front desk guy to see if I can get a discount this time because of the inconvenience he said no! and that this is the price because I wanted a haircut too and is not included in the grooming. He was very rude and didn’t let me talk.I asked to speak with the owner and explained to him what happened in the past and the current situation. He was not nice at all and kicked me out by telling me not to come back again, just simply because I said the service was not good and a customer had walked in. He said don’t talk to my customers.The grooming is not good . Please don’t go there if you don’t want to go through bad service and staff with attitude.

I love the way my pooch comes out looking with their amazing groomers. I can easily give this location 5 stars but I wont until they upgrade their ventilation system. Its humid, smells bad and just needs a much, much better ventilation system. I keep taking my pooch there because they are great with my doggie.I will continue supporting this location so maybe it helps them upgrade.

My favorite grooming place in all of Chicago, I bring my dog Noah here to get his haircuts. Juan and the staff are super friendly, great attention to detail, and good prices. Definitely would recommend coming here for all your four legged friends grooming needs.
