Store number 22531 Trans 99694... date 02-20-24... 2:27pm... this young lady tried to take 10 dollars from me... I gave her 40 cause all I had in my wallet was 20s... she put in the computer that I gave her 30 dollars which in reality I gave her 40 dollars... that's unexceptable in all ways... why would you do that... the other cashier looked so crazy at her like wow wow n wow... you tried him... really... her face was flabbergasted that she got caught red handed with the stealing transaction...

This was my first time ever going to this Dollar general on 83rd and cottage Grove. I will never return. It was very smelly probably do to it not being very clean or using mop with dirty water. I'm not sure as well as the customer service was not that great. I will not be returning

I love the store but the employees need work 😕 . It doesn't matter what day it is the store closes at least 20 minutes earlyWhy do you say you are open from 8-9 and never are the doors open at 8:55?

It's what you would expect from a location on Cottage Grove. Make sure you verify the price on the shelf matches what your charged. The staff adjusted the price without difficulty. The male employees are pretty nice at this location. I had to use my card to pay 50 cents for a customer who was short because the female worker said she couldn't help him out. Her drawer was going to be short! I understand that! It was how she handled the situation.

This was not my first visit to this location. Store inventory is always sooooo sad (i.e., shelves are empty). But its convenient to my client's home. Today, the store was sorta open. There was a huge Dollar General truck in the lot, and someone was unloading it. Couldn't get in the door.

I purchased a science board; there was a variety of black boards and white baords, single and tri-fold. Markers, stickers, glue, glitter everything needed to decorate an eye catching science board at an affordable of 12$ and a few cents. Oh, and the store was clean👍🏼

Dollar general some employees are nice need to work more on getting truck put up and not have it sitting in the aisles when customers are trying to shop but never had a problem with Dollar general

This is the cleanest store I’ve ever seen. And I am not exaggerating. I felt compelled to leave this review because of it. I never go into dollar general. I couldn’t believe how clean and organized it is in there. Even the bathroom was clean. Not only that, they were all nice with excellent customer service. :) People don’t think stuff like that counts but it does. :) I go to dollar stores often and how I felt in there made me want to shop at dollar general lol... it was so clean and organized I had to ask to speak to the manager. Great job Dominique, to you and your team.

The store is always really messy and dirty. They are always stocking and leaving pallets of products in the aisle. If you bring in a dollar general coupon it won't work if you say something about it they get an attitude and do nothing to resolve the issue. One of the female employees is really terrible at customer service also.

I went in on March 9th around 6:30pm the cashier was sooo rude ! She was moving in full slow motion it took her over 60secs to give me 3 dollars out of her register she continued to stop and mug me as if I was a problem All I wanted was my money and she then smacked the money in my hand baby never again would I ever go !

Recent experience was horrible while shopping, walking around, the women workers were in front yelling and arguing with an older lady. Once I get in line this young lesbian child was trying to get the numbers of the cashier's literally held the line up for about 10 15 mins you would think the other person standing around would help she literally turned looked at the line and continues to talk. Only reason we were able to get out the store was because a stock person came up and helped. Only 2 stars because their is about 3 maybe 4 employees on different days that I've seen who actually care about their job.
