First time at this store this morning. Left store about 10am. Anywho... No greeting upon entering. Head to get my items. Gentleman rings me up. Doesn't say anything until it comes dwn to my total. Says, ELEVEN 85!! I tap my card. It goes through. He rips off my receipt, hands it towards me, I take it, say thank you, he doesn't respond & just walks away😳😳🤦🏽🤦🏽 No thank you, no have a nice day.. nothing🤦🏽 How do you look at a customer, ring them up & not greet them in any fashion?? Just terrible! Hope management sees this. Please do better with customer service training. Something so simple means a lot, goes a long way & costs nothing! On that note, y'all have a nice day!

This store is poorly stocked and poorly managed. Items sell out and take weeks to months to be replaced. They don't do cash back most days either. It's a last resort kind of deal and even then, very disappointing.

This location was a Walgreen's, and now it's a Dollar General. The difference is night and day. I don't blame the staff, but I have to wonder if the brand has something to do with it.

This store located at 1111th and Michigan in Chicago Illinois has alot to be desired! The management staff at this store has a smart mouth and negative attitude! The store is extremely understaffed and they are always out of alot of important products! I give this location 1 star! The zip code here is 60628 in what is known as the Roseland neighborhood!

The management here is extremely unprofessional. I won't be returning. LaQuita needs to be demoted for her lack of customer concern and driving away Dollar General's business. She is not good at her job. The store itself was clean and they do a decent job of stocking the place, but don't have any high expectations otherwise.

High theft. Needs security at all times !!!! Customer service is good but district is very tight on scheduling and making sure the store is well ran on peak days.The store needs too be closed around 7 because the rest of the area is closed at 7(mon/sat) closes at six(6pm) on Sundays. the employees of dollar General to me are sitting ducks for many robbery attempts due too being the only store corner open.The parking lot needs better lighting. The only well lighten area is the front door and dumpster area. Sad !!!! Not the employees fault.. Not the store manager fault.

They should already know by now what will sell well. Then they should have enough stocks!! For example, laundry detergent are on sale like this last Saturday, their racks were empty. Like a ghost town or after broke in. Just wiped out. I do not understand this store. Manager should have more control over his/her store. Delivery isnt catcging up or they are not ordering fast enough. They have sale on weekend but they dont have anything to sell.

Nice place but the female manager could work on her people skills. If someone says the store looks nice, give a heartfelt thank you instead of a dry unapologetic thanks.

Well family Dollar is very convenient being that is right across the street from me a great place to go the personal beautiful.do workers in the staff always greet you perfectly when you come to the door.,Is always someone working in the hours to guide you... It's almost a perfect service.. I'm always in and out... Because there's work to still do at the mosque of Omar,140 no 5 South Michigan Chicago Illinois 606 28..

It's a great staff. They always greet you coming in. Very helpful when trying to locate a product. The neighborhood is what it is. It's not their issue. They do a great job serving this community.

It’s a good place to shop but it’s just bad that ppl keep taking the shopping cart, so you literally have to wait for the person in the line to finish with it before you can use one bc there usually is no carts left to use...😩😩😩

Store is always unorganized total mess. A few of the cashiers need to be retrained on customer service. I only go to this location because its convenient for me. I would not recommend this location!

Sometimes when I go to the place they don't open up on time! I don't know how many times I've got to the store and there not open they open up late, do you know how much money these people lose because they can't open up on time ! I hate this place but I am on the bus and its its closest to home!

AOK BUT THE STORE DIDNOT HAVE NO REGULAR TYLENOL ONLY EXTRASTRENGHT. THATS ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THE STORE. BUT I PURCHASE THE EXTRA STRENGTH AND ADVIL. I LOVE THEM.

There were no shopping carts and there were maybe 4 customers including myself. I waited 5 minutes before deciding to shop somewhere else
