The parking lot and inside of the store seem to be always tidy and the employees are pretty friendly. I love the weekly and monthly deals to help save money when buying essentials.

Worst pharmacy ever. They put you on hold, then hang up on you. If I have to order a refill for my mother I have to go in to the store to order it, go back 2 days later to be informed that they still do not have it ready, return in another 2 days when only a partial is ready and I have to return in another 2 days. This is the worst location ever.

I love the pharmacist & permanent staff. They greet me with a cheerful, happy attitude.Always willing to try hard to help. Patiently, call the physician several times if necessary.Like all businesses recently, they are having trouble keeping part time staff so at times there is often a back up at the drive thru.

South Chicago Heights said my refill was ready, I arrived and they said they had nothing in the system for me. After pressing more they said that I must have called the wrong pharmacy and that my prescription was ready for pick up at the Chicago Heights store. I drove to the Chicago Heights store who then told me that my prescription was not there, but they could see it was ready for pick up at South Chicago Heights. I drove back to South Heights who then said it would be available once the pharmacist “approved” it. No one took anything even remotely serious the entire time. Walgreens doesn’t care. They have a monopoly on the market so me not going back doesn’t matter, but maybe I will get to take my medication with CVS

Super weird employee followed me around the whole store and even asked me what I was doing in the bathroom. Umm using the toilet. Then she warned me the store was closing soon, even though it was open for 40+ mins more. Proceeds to follow me around and asked if I was on the phone because she wanted to apologize (for racially profiling me and being way too intense) I told her leave me alone. It was so baffling. Avoid this store at all costs. Never coming back here ever again.

Called pharmacy and the lady was extremely rude. I understand it is busy but it is no excuse to talk to people the way she did. There was no empathy. I was calling for a prescription.....hint most people calling are sick and the last thing they should should have worry about is attitude. Time for a career change lady. If I could give her minus stars I would. Walgreens needs to monitor customer's calls.

The service is always slow. Most the staff is rude. They never answer the phones, so you get very acquainted with the long automated message detailing the entire stores schedule. There's very little consideration put into people receiving prescriptions especially since they started doing vaccinations. Overall, you're better off going anywhere else if receiving your medication in a timely, orderly fashion is important to you.

I was wrongfully accused of shoplifting when I went in to buy a charger. The lady working the front counter asked if I needed help with anything and I said no I'm just trying to find the right charger I need. She then walked up to me, snatched the charger and other items I was planning to buy out of my hands and told me I needed to leave. When I asked why she said I saw you put items in your purse so you need to leave or I'll call the police. I said you didn't see me put anything in my purse because it's closed and you can check your cameras. I have money and I don't need to steal anything. She then let me purchase my items and gave me my receipt. I'm never shopping here again. I don't need to be accosted when I try to shop.

Don't bother making an appointment for a flu shot here. You will sit and sit and watch the staff wait on everyone who did NOT make an appointment, people who have just dropped in to pick up prescriptions. I left after 40 minutes of sitting there, because there was no end in sight to waiting- they told me that everyone at the time was too busy to give me the shot. I could understand this if I was a walk in, but I made an appointment. They didn't seem to care at all. First and last time trying to get a flu shot through Walgreens.

Me and my kids went in there this evening and a customer in front of me didn't want her stuff so it was my turn in line as the girl was ringing my stuff up I noticed the lady that was before me her stuff was still ringing up on my stuff on the the screen. I told the girl what I was seeing she said I voided but she didn't. I payed for my stuff and Received my receipt and sure enough that lady stuff was on my receipt. I told the girl again instead of saying sorry or any thing she called manager and told manager oh she wants a refund on this stuff. I said no and explained to him what happen neither said nothing and then he put $2.06 on a gift card then gave the rest in cash. Then he said here go like I was in the wrong then she goes on to say my computer be twikin. No sorry or nothing she actually kept running her mouth while I was walking out but it was her mistake. I don't understand who that man who was manger could just let a employee let alone himself to act so unprofessional.

There’s many who said that the pharmacy is slow, but I have been going here for years now. I don’t see any problems with the facility. It’s slow because Kmart has closed down, so there’s many prescriptions to prescribe. I overheard a lady getting yelled at by a very rude older guy. When you get there have everything ready and set. It’s not their fault you don’t know the name of the doctor. Just be nice.

The pharmacy staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Not only were they ignorant to me, I watched them be ignorant to every customer over an hour period. This is not the first time I have experienced that at this location. Most people coming to fill prescriptions are obviously sick and unwell, treating them with disrespect does not help anyone. I will definitely be switching pharmacies and never be returning.

Pharmacy is absolutely terrible! So slow and rude! I scheduled a covid test and they had shopping carts blocking the driveway. Didn't answer the phone call twice so I had to go in with my mask(directions on email stated I could) and they were rude about it.

Dropped of my prescription at 2:55 October 23. Had Surgery todayMy husband went to pick up 7 hours later they said they didn’t have it. I called and they still said they didn’t have it! Another lady got on the phone and said OH I found it laying here but we can’t read the Dr Name so we didn’t fill it??!! Why didn’t you call me??!! She then said it will be ready in 5 minOk great! Then the pharmacist called me right back and said nope sorry we can’t read it. What??!! And she then hung up on me?! Will not answer phone any more! This is the worst pharmacy! Still no prescription to pick up and they will not speak to me!!

Literally the worst pharmacy I've ever used. They are always extremely slow, staff is usually rude and something is ALWAYS broken.... what is the point of having a drive thru if it's constantly closed?

Absolutely the slowest people ever work at this pharmacy. If there is one person in front of you in the drive-thru pharmacy, you will be sitting there for 30 minutes, guaranteed. There are 2 lines for the drive thru, however, they literally only use one at a time. Don't even bother with this place.

Staff is often rude and seldom very helpful. This may be due to fact that this location is understaffed. Nearly every single time I've picked up my prescription, there has been a problem. There is always a line to wait in just to be told to sit down and wait for them to fix your problem as soon as they fix everyone else's problem first. At least if you use the drive-thru you can listen to your stereo.

I've been coming here for months and never really had a problem with staff other than miscommunication (who knows if it's on purpose).one staffer told me to come back the following day in which I proceeded to. the following day I speak to a different staff member and they were very rude telling me to come back a few days later with an unprofessional attitude which is unacceptable and unnecessary when I've been coming here for months for the same item which they never have so I never get. I've been super nice and patient to be treated ignorantly.

I can't decide which is worse about this Walgreens: the horrible pharmacy or the horrible pharmacy staff. Respectful and friendly address is met with visible irritation if not hostility, phone calls are abruptly terminated, and it's a toss-up as to whether or not you can actually get your drugs or if they're willing to look for them if their terrible filing system is overfull and bags fall behind the bins.If you have any other options for pharmacy care, avoid this place.

Go here if you want long, slow lines; and for the pharmacy to mess something up every other month. I will not be going back to this location.5/26/21 update. Just as bad. They tried making me go against my doctors recommendation. Waited in line 30 minutes just to get fed up and leave. Will not be coming back. Will most likely switch from walgreens altogether.

Horrible. The drive up window wait is more than 30 minutes to even get someone’s attention and another 10 minutes for a response and another 10 minutes to get the prescription. Just ridiculous.

1. We ordered pictures, and when we got there, giving them ample time to complete the order after the pick up time, the workers hadn't started the photos yet. 2.Sandra was extremely rude to me when half my photos were cut wrong, accusing me of uploading them wrong. 3. Sandra proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers because I asked to not pay for the ones she messed up after making me wait. 4. She argued with me because I asked to see the manager. 5. The manager Matt, after hearing the way she treated me insisted nothing was wrong. 6. I requested a full refund because of how rude Sandra was and how messed up my pictures were and they still made me pay for most of the pictures, refusing to reprint the ones they messed up.

The pharmaceutical manager here almost killed me last night. I was laid off last year and am on Illinois Medicaid. I have been without my psych medication for a week and have been in withdrawals all week due to her irresponsibility and negligence. After my Dr. Appt the rx was sent to this Walgreens and was charged and paid by Illinois Medicaid. I called Medicaid to find this out and they told me to tell her she is committing fraud if not refilled. I called and was given the run around daily with her. Also, I have never seen hold times this long either at least 20 minutes to talk to anyone and I've been hung up while on hold! Completely irresponsible!!! I recorded all calls and after putting the pieces together, she intentionally not only committed fraud but also lied to me and the state. Excuses ranged from its the state computers not talking to Walgreens computers correctly, this is absolutely preposterous and called her out on it and was told I was wrong and it was MY responsibility as a patient to call Medicaid. I called Medicaid and they were confused and told me the patient NEVER needs to call Medicaid in this situation and that the medicine was already paid for at the day of my appt. Then she claimed it got lost in the cloud. Also asinine claim since I can pull up this info on my computer. Everyday I had to readdress what she did wrong and my entire dilemma. At one point I had Medicaid call this Walgreens on 3 way call and we were on hold for around 5 minutes and then Medicaid was hung up on with me! Which could have settled the situation right then and there. What she did was made a mistake and instead of fixing it and apologizing, she has made my whole family suffer through a taxing week of medicinal withdrawals when I needed it the most, my wife was diagnosed in that same week with Chiari I and we were in limbo seeing neuro surgeons. Last night my brain had enough and I almost went to the hospital because of extreme mental and physical insanity. My wife went today to talk to her and magically she got my medicine ready without any problem, no questions about insurance, no talk of what went wrong, and most importantly NO APOLOGY! This is beyond negligence and if I had the means, time, and money I would pursue her in court but the fact she preys on Medicaid patients and knows they do not have the means to sue her. Whatever Walgreens does with her I can care less this has permanently severed trust and nearly killed me with potential withdrawal seizures. Any other Walgreens I've used before, I've never had any problem or this degree of disrespect and lies in my entire life. I will not ever come back and I prey for they people who are stuck in a similar situation with her because I guarantee I was not the only pissed off person getting runarounds and lies. The way she personally treated elderly people was atrocious. The way she treats her staff is atrocious. This woman is a scourge to society who under no circumstance should be practicing healthcare let alone pharmaceuticals! I will take this complaint to corporate and I would implore people to stay away from this pharmacy if they are dependent on medicine.

This has got to be the absolute worse pharmacy on the planet. Totally unorganized, long waits, and staff are total idiots, its like the blind leading the blind. No one appears to know how to do anything. They are totally oblivious and do not know that they are dealing with people health issues or they just do not care. I requested a prescription refill and they said that they are waiting to hear back from the doctor, will three weeks later I call and ask when can I expect to have my script refilled and the dumb girl said we sent it in and are waiting to hear back from the doctor and I said I know that, it has been over three weeks now, you guys do not follow up with the doctor or send a second request and she says I will put in another request now. Unbelieveable! Absolute morons. I will never use this walgreens pharmacy again. I feel sorry for those poor people in that area that do not have a choice but to deal with this type of Idiocracy. Walgreens sure scraped the bottom of the barrel when they put these rejects in this location. Want to see what a dysfunctional sociality looks like, stop in and order a prescription.

Go get your prescriptions some where else!! The Only Algren staff is amazing!! Always nice and willing to help! The pharmacy on the other hand, horrible. Rude as can be. To the point where you feel like you bothering them!! When you call it is almost like you interrupted them from something else! I drove 20 minutes to go to CVS. STAY AWAY!!!

This is easily the worst Walgreens in the Chicago Heights/Park Forest/Matteson, Frankfurt area. Incompetent and rude Pharmacy, slow ineffective, lose prescriptions, give the wrong prescriptions, then rude when you bring it up to their attention. The rest of the store is poorly organized and the staff is Extremely rude. I work near the Deerfiled, IL HQ. Tempted to stop in there and hand deliver a letter about how these people kept screwing up my mom's medication and that switching to the Osco Pharmacy in the Jewel across the street was the solution to this madness. My advice, just go the local Jewel Osco in South Chicago Heights if possible. Never had an issue there and the staff is much more respectful.
