Charged incorrectly for an item asked associate to refund my money and give me the correct price for the item. He then proceeded to be rude the entire time entire transaction. When he didn’t return my original receipt, I asked for it back. The associate had the receipt, instead of apologizing or simply handing me the receipt, he slammed the receipt down on the counter, and walked away.

I have shopped at DG in Chatham for almost 8 years now. Tonight was the worst customer service Ive ever experienced at this store.We were in line with our items waiting to check out when one worker came back inside to inform me that she was told to "kick out" everyone at 10pm.We had been waiting in line for several minutes to be checked out. I was shocked that anyone in customer service would turn away a paying customer with a smirk on her face when we had clearly been standing there waiting.Needless to say I handed my items to her and walked out.I sure hope the training process here isnt to kick out paying customers.....A very disappointed customer!!

Packed to the rim with brim. Prices are right but space tight. Come around the aisle too swift could cause a serious accident. Some shelves empty from frequent used products ( paper plates & Comet cleanser). Must go for reasonable price items but wear bumpers to avoid collisions.

I gave this DG a 3 star because it's better than what it used to be before remodel. However, they did away with clothing. A small selection would be good; however, the remodel gave room for a bigger selection of merchandise.I'm still not a fan of rolltainers being full of freight and on the floor...

Dollar General is a very good store.. Now that they have renovated and expanded the isles it's easier to shop. Also I love the addition of the freezer caze with all the frozen foods, and dairy too. Thank you DG.

Don't know if there has been a big change in management , but the Dollar General in Chatham has gone to hell. The store years ago was always so clean and neat looking. The employees were friendly. I was there today but will go elsewhere. Dollar General in Chatham was a mess!!!!

The place was an absolute mess. They most be incredibly understaffed. I used to live to go in there and browse and waste a bit of time and money.Now I'll go only if I dont have time to go anywhere else.
