The main store is pretty decent. Some Very nice front workers. Some pharmacy staff are extremely rude and will go above and beyond just to make your day miserable. Then there’s a few others who are genuinely nice and will do everything in their power to help solve your problem or answer your questions. (Always count your meds before you leave! Human errors happen and getting them fixed can be a pain.) The main problem at this location is upper management. Or lack there of. Hopefully 2022 will bring a new and positive change to the location. It could use a nice revamp.

Spent 2hrs waiting on my script. I understand they were busy and had issues w getting my insurance entered, but half the pharmacy staff wore their masks under their nose or on their chin, and the people who tried to ring me out didn’t seem to know how the system worked or anything about working in a pharmacy. The first guy said “I have 4 prescriptions for you” so I started saying “I don’t actually need all of it. A regular glucose monitor was ordered first and then they sent in for a continuous glucose monitor so I only need that one” but he cut me off and said “I don’t know anything you’re saying.” That was a bit unprofessional and didn’t exactly instill a sense of confidence. He shouted “I need an adult” at the pharmacists/techs to help him and determined what I needed and didn’t need but I had to keep reminding him because he’d get confused. Then I was told to wait 30mins for a missing piece so I did but then they called me up for my insurance so I gave them more info and stood there 20mins while they’re took drive-thru orders until they passed that off to another person. I went and sat down and waited another 45mins only to be told my insurance went through but the part wasn’t actually in the store and I’d have to wait another day. At that point I went to check out the piece that was available and had to go through the whole “we have 4 scripts for you” thing because the checkout guy had changed and it was difficult getting him to understand that I didn’t need the manual system (which I referred to by name) and the lancets, I only need the other system (again, by name) and I’d get the reader when it came in. Seems simple but it wasn’t.

This is a horrible place. The pharmacist is irresponsible. My doctor send my prescription in there for one day, but they did not prepared it at all untill I come on site. They told me to wait half one hour and then told me the brand I request is not in stock so I need contact my doctor to change the brand. Then I contact my doctor the other day and come again. My doctor already change the prescription to remove brand name They still told me the prescription is not suffice and ask me to tell my doctor to add a note "substitute allowed" to so that they can sell the Walgreen brand to me or I have to pay 10 times the price than Amazon retail to get the pharmacy. I am totally fratsuted and suggest avoid use this place unless no substitute available.My treatment is serious delayed. I am very upset about the experiences here.

There was no customer service to speak of at this pharmacy location. Everyone was busy walking around in the back while I waited. No one even acknowledged me to say they would be with me in a minute. But my biggest complaint about this location is how long it takes them to fill prescriptions. My wife was discharged from the hospital and the prescriptions were sent electronically. 4 hours later they had not been filled. This included pain meds which were desperately need. No compassion.

So the pharmacist doesn’t know how to call another Walgreens in Champaign to see if they have an out of stock medicineI had to call my Chicago Suburbs Walgreens pharmacy and THEY found the medicine at the Neil Street location
