I was told I could bring my car in for a complementary cleaning and nothing was done at all although I was told “they swept a little”. It was a joke. I will not be returning. They didn’t wipe off a single thing, not even where they worked on my volume knob. I could see everywhere they touched it. Horrible service. I would have much preferred to be told they would do nothing rather than be made a fool. This is the second car I have purchased from you guys and it will be the last. For 1000 dollars someone could have run a rag over the console at bare minimum.

I've purchased 14 cars since 1976, and the best experience I've ever had was with Illini Nissan in Champaign, IL, and its salesman, Preston Burns. Absolutely wonderful all the way 'round. The Manager is also A+ in my book for his fairness and generosity. THANK YOU! I sincerely and highly recommend these guys, and will DEFINITELY go to them FIRST, when I begin seeking car #15. Preston!!! My man! Preston got me into a 2011 F150. I’ve had it awhile now and love the thing. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. I will definitely look here first before buying anywhere else. Thank you to everyone who helped me out and had patience during the process.

Johnny MacFarlane is a great representative. Previously I had stopped taking my Nissan here bc service wasn't really that fast or pleasant. I'm happy to see there has been a major change. Appointment was finished within time window even though I added an oil change/tire rotation last minute. I don't know the name of the mechanics that worked on my Rouge but they took really good care of her and it was returned to me purring and spotless.

The lady who answers the phone is very nice; however, the person who orders parts is horrible. I took my car in for a recall and asked them to order a part for my front license plate because I thought a Nissan part had to be ordered by a Nissan dealer. They said they forgot to do it when I picked my car up, but they would put the order in. A month later, I called to ask about the part, and they hadn’t ordered it. This happened two more times where I called and the part was never ordered. Finally, I was able to talk to the guy who orders, and he told me he finally got it ordered and would take a couple days to come in, and I would get a call once it arrives. It’s now been a couple weeks, and I still haven’t heard anything. I finally asked a local mechanic to order it for me, and he was immediately able to order what I needed and the part will be in by the end of the week.

On the internet found a Pathfinder ,that I was interested in. called and talked with Lauren with no intention of buying came in and the sales folks tended to my needs. 3 hrs later I became the proud owner of a 24 Pathfinder, platium. The whole experience was fantastic and I cannot say enough for the folks there at Illini Nissan .

Brought my car in for service and they didnt miss a beat. Got 2 recalls done, rotated tires, oil change and a new battery. Took 1hr20m with other people waiting as well. Pricing is really solid as well so don't expect an insane dealership bill (unless your car is really messed up🤣)

I did not have an appointment, but they took my Altima in with few questions and were upfront about potential charges. It all turned out to be under warranty (or recalls), so it cost me nothing and was ready for me first thing the following morning. The shuttle service also saved me two Ubers to get to back to my home and work. There is nothing more I could have asked for when it comes to a car with 158,000 miles on it.

Eric was our salesman. He was really a wealth of information. Explained how the different features in the car we test drove worked. We went to just look and to see what Nissan had to offer in the type of vehicle we were looking at, which was a ford escape. We were diehard Ford fans. We walked out with a rogue and I absolutely love it!!We told Eric what we wanted our payment to be at and between him and everyone else there that day we were able to get that payment we wanted.Eric was soo patient with us and very helpful.Thank you Eric and Illini Nissan!

I bought a 2018 Nissan Sentra back in late November of 2018. The car had 8 miles on it when I bought it. The car has 93,000 miles on it just under 5 years. Tried to take it in to see what was wrong and it was the transmission. I took care of the car not racing it or hard acceleration on it. Kept up with the oil changes and whatever needed taking care of in the time of need. Bought the car for $19,000 and it’s only worth $6,600 right now. It’s got other issues too. The front radar is out as well and my car is totaled pretty much. Can’t really total it out because I’ll still owe money on it. It’s got a CVT transmission which are junk. They offered to pay half but I would still have to pay $2,600. I have money put back but I’ll only spend $500. I’m not gonna spend a whole lot of money on something that’s defective. They’re only good for 60,000-84,000 miles. Tried to take legal action but they settled the case back in may of 2023 so I can’t do anything. It’s clear that Nissan doesn’t care about their customers for them to opt out of a legal lawsuit like this so do yourself a favor and don’t buy a Nissan. Car has under 100,000 miles and should be worth over $10,000 but it has a known defect which decreases its value tremendously. I only got offered $2,500 for trade in. Now I just gotta drive my car and hope it doesn’t breakdown in 2 1/2 years till it’s paid off but I doubt it. Just don’t buy a Nissan! They robbed me and I just hope it doesn’t happen to someone else! I’m making sure my kids and family never buy a Nissan for generations to come!

Gary did a wonderful job! He took the time to explain the findings of their inspection to me in plain English. He also verified that the parts needed for the repairs were in-stock before speaking with me. He broke down the price quotes for each item so I could decide if I would like to do part of or all of the repairs at the same time. He gave me spot-on realistic expectations for how long the repairs would take. He ensured I had a vehicle to get to daycare and back in case it took longer than expected. Then he called me personally, as well as text notification to let me know when my vehicle was ready for pick-up. I really appreciate the personal service. Would highly recommend them to family and friends. Car repairs are never a fun thing to deal with, but the Illini Nissan team made it easy experience, and everyone was friendly!

To sum it up, I'd say they made the car buying experience easy. The smaller size of the dealership makes you feel like they know you and care about your experience. This is the second Nissan I've purchased at Illini Nissan. Neither time did I feel like I was being pressured to buy. I took my time, they kept in touch, but they did not pester me while I was making my decision. They seem to understand it's a big expenditure and therefore a big decision. That was very much appreciated. I worked with Lauren and Wes; both were great.

I bought a used vehicle at illini Nissan and ran into some small issues. Dave and the guys in service let me know what was needed and how long it is was expected to take for repairs. They gave me a loaner vehicle and kept me posted on the progress. I picked up my car today and everything seems perfect at no cost to me. Great group of people and I would recommend considering them for your next vehicle purchase and service on your current vehicle.

Speedy, affordable, and friendly service. I scheduled service online and it couldn't have been easier. I was in and out for an oil change and tire rotation in less than 45 minutes. Plus, they put my car through the car wash at the end.I don't know why I was always skeptical of using a dealership for routine maintenance, but Illini Nissan has totally changed my perception. I will be back soon!
