This was my first visit to Country Market. I actually had fun! Everyone I met was courteous and helpful. I even was greeted when I first walked in the door!! That just doesn't happen to me anymore ( I probably look grumpy or something).I bought fried chicken (by the way, its delicious!), and potatoe wedges. The guy behind the counter pointed out an available coupon which I didn't see. That's pretty darn nice if you ask me.I will be back!!

Absolutely the worse produce in Champaign Urbana, and at the highest price. It's conveniently located, so if you shop here, check your produce closely because they don't. Mold and rot is very common. The last time I was there because of convenience, it took me 3 bags of grapes to find one that wasn't mold and 6 cartons of strawberries. I've shopped here for years and over the past 5 years began exploring all of the stores in town. In a town this small, it's only a few miles to better prices AND better product. I've compared my grocery prices at every store in town. I think this store is trying to price like Harvest Market and perhaps have a similar model. Depending on what I buy, My Harvest Market bill is often cheaper because of some sales. They have cleaned up the store and it looks much better. But to have expired dairy, bad produce and charge the highest prices in town simply does not make sense. You'll be well served to explore the other grocery options in town and just use this one like an urgent convenient mart.

It's a nice store. Prices are a little high. They're have decent food options during the day and a seating area. They have wifi but don't expect to come here and use the wifi for work or anything. The wifi speed is only 100mbps and I couldn't even load a Google search page let alone a YouTube video using the wifi so although they do have wifi it's pretty much useless. I like their sandwiches though.

This is a nice store but the meat and seafood cases need to be cleaned out badly. All I smell is rotten meat walking by the deli and bad fish in the sea food department. It was so bad at 9:00 a.m. it turned my stomach and almost made me sick. Neiman owns Harvest Market it doesn't stink so why does this location? I don't recall the Mattoon store smelling badly either? Somebody needs to improve sanitation I wouldn't eat anything from the meat/seafood or deli departments until the issues are resolved .

Not much for feeding families anymore. The rent-a-cop on Christmas Eve was turning away business 20 minutes to close. Kinda messed up to do at Christmas. Won't be returning ever again.

I've had to return items to this store several times due to mold being on the food. Although the staff is accommodating, finding mold on recently purchased food is unsightly & disturbing. Luckily, my family has not been sick due to us finding the mold prior to cooking the food. This has happened far too often, along with expired dates on food from this County Market location. Yuk, do better! Also, the price of food is high at this location as well. Get your coupons ready if you shop here. I no longer shop at this grocery store for food - at all.

I like this store. We don't come here alot but do when we can. I found the prices to be a little higher. You definitely need a Max Card and to use digital coupons. The store employees were very friendly and helpful.

The last few times I've been there shopping. The penny pincher machine is down and we'll be going to check out cashiers. Don't always take off the coupons to make it the penny pincher price so we don't find out. If we get home or we have to stand there and watch everything and check our receipt. To make sure that we got the purse that was advertised. They should bring back the paper coupons so they come out in the mail

Nice store. I like the entrance of fresh fruit, salad items, raw veggies & the pastry/bakery adjacent. Friendly staff, nice wide aisles & neat. Even the local Fire House shops here.

The Pharmacist is so helpful and quick about getting your medication ready for you by the time you need it! It’s very hard to find that these days. All the pharmacies are so understaffed and overworked, I was worried that when my insurance switched I was going to have to resort to a large name pharmacy from one I really liked. County Market was on the list and I am very pleased with their service! Keep up the great work!!

Every single time I shop for groceries at the county market in West Champaign, (Kirby/Duncan) the food is rotten and spoiled and past expiration regardless of what the sticker says. This has actually been a problem at that specific County Market for a decade at least! I actually have tons of Facebook memories dating back to 2013 complaining about this exact issue, at this exact location, with several people chiming in of similar issues. I stopped shopping there several years back and started going to Schnucks. However, I was on that side of town one day and needed a couple items so I just ran in and got what was needed. I got home, and everything was bad! The smell of the bad meat still haunts my nostrils and probably the nostrils of the customer service guy that did my refund. Anyways... Yeah I don't recommend. I am shocked it stays in business!

This County Market sucks! The people are generally all-around unfriendly and not helpful at all which is strange, because I’ve always found County Market to be one of the more friendly and helpful grocery stores! I’ve decided I’m going to Schnucks which is a little further away and maybe a bit more $ but they seem to be a lot more helpful and nicer. Have even dealt with the manager at this County Market and he is just as oblivious as the rest. Just an all-around terrible unfriendly store and I have not had good experiences here. This is my personal opinion.

Being a creature of habit, I prefer the store on Duncan road and Kirby ave. It is close to my house, so I don't use much by gas to shop there. The store is always neat and clean. The staff knows me because I shop there once, sometimes twice a week. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially when I have trouble with the self check out. I wish they had kept the stores near Neil St and Prospect Ave as well as the one on Glen Park. I do believe it was a mistake to turn this one into a Valu Check. Nevertheless, my favorite store is great and I believe, firmly, in being loyal to them, as they do great work.

First time going to the deli for lunch. The chicken tenders were delicious! Customer service was top notch and the store was very clean. Check out lines were very long, but the clerks were pretty quick. No complaints here!

Store is fine but some of the deli help seem to go out of their way to ignore you. Today I had a young man totally ignore my request for slicing Swiss cheese. If it weren’t for their Rotisserie Chicken salad I’d quit going there. This is not the first time

The service counter was super busy when we visited and there was only one employee doing it all behind the desk. He did do the best he could and did it effectively and efficiently. The other employees we encountered were super friendly and helpful, but the prices on some items are considerably more than another Supercenter across town.Edit: pieces still haven't changed

Not impressed with this store by any means. They used to have great deals and really delicious deli items but that seems to not be the case anymore. The prices seemed to be alright at best now which is a big departure from how country market used to be. The twice baked potato salad used to be my favorite but after trying it several times at Harvest Market and at County Market the potatoes were crunchy. I'm not one to complain about things but crunchy potatoes in potato salad is awful.
