Might be an odd comment, but this was the nicest smelling Goodwill I've ever come across. The selection overall was pretty average. Some sections were more organized than others. The book prices were awesome!! Nothing over $3.

This Goodwill is fairly clean and the employees are nice. The thing that drives me nuts is that Goodwill doesn’t keep all their china patterns together! You have to hunt for the salad plates, the tea cups are in another location, the platters in another aisle. And all the china is individually priced which can add up quick. Plus they stack all the plates together to make the hunting all the more difficult. Also they used to have the silverware nicely separated and now they just all lump it all together with other utensils. I would say prices are generally high. They also don’t provide bags or boxes, which I support in theory but it’s really annoying when you forget to bring them.

Management sucks and they’re liars. Smile in your face but talk about you behind your back some of the employees are like walking zombies not friendly people at all. If I could I wouldn’t give them any stars that location is just a BIG MESS don’t waste your time going there the South Elgin store is a lot better.

Nice array of items. However, staff gives you a bit of snarkiness when you dont round up your change. Last I checked, I just bought a couple of things, dont patronize a regular patron! Honestly, I dont know if I'll be back. Many other stores nearby, such as Arlington, and much much fresher selection, in my opinion!!

Staff was very helpful when my son found a dinosaur toy without a tag. Not a huge amount of children’s clothes, but a decent selection of books and DVDs.

Goodwills prices are going up across the board.. but aside from that, this store is the closest to me and I'm lucky it's a good one. It's always clean, the staff are nice.. I usually find some good items. Not so much shoes more clothes... And home goods.

I enjoy visiting the Goodwill stores and I enjoy the employees they're very nice people Goodwill works on keeping everything organized and clean but I do have to say it would be nice if management can keep prices more consistent And sometimes more reasonable.example I buy plastic bins with no lids and usually pay 1.29 well these are the same size..3.00..4.00?

This Goodwill is easily the absolute worst in the area, by a mile. It's an absolute dump. The shelves are a disaster. Good luck sifting through the piles and messes everywhere.If you want to go to a Goodwill- go to Huntley, East Algonquin, or Crystal Lake. These locations are all neat, well kept, and organized. The difference to this store is night and day. Might as well shut this location down.

This used to be one of my favorite Goodwill to go to but it’s really gone downhill over the last few years. The shelves are a complete mess, you can barely pick up anything without 10 items falling on the ground. Ever since they stopped accepting furniture and don’t provide bags to force you to buy their reusable branded Goodwill bags. Clean up your store Goodwill, it’s basically on the level of a terrible garage or yard sale.

Absolutely the best Goodwill I’ve ever been to. Huge store. Well organized. Fair prices. Wonderful. The only negative is the framed artwork is impossible to look through they are packed in so tight. Maybe display forward instead of sideways with a barrier to eliminate any sliding.

Good Will as a whole is a great place to shop on the cheap. This particular location caters mainly to women and children. There is very little to nothing for the guys. Unless, you are looking for dress shirts and denim jeans. It is a very small section. I love taking my daughters and their friends here for an afternoon of shopping. I can get all 4 kids up to date outfits that they piece together themselves and it cost me less than fifty bucks.

Nice store with a lot of clothes. I don't ever see many tool. Decent selection of kitchen stuff. This place is always packed on Saturdays. Another reviewer said they have 1/2 price color days, I'm not sure about that but I know they honor the rewards card. This is one that I go to when I go Goodwill shopping through the burbs.

The Manager Eric is incredibly RUDE. I brought something that was way over priced, it was priced at 39 and a new item goes for 30-50. I said I would be willing to pay 25 he said 30 and that it is high quality Target product. I looked it up and it is not even sold there. He said again the price e is 30 firm!I went away and called the store to say I was coming in for it, he said I will not hold it for you and if your not here before 9 the doors are locked. Seriously is this the kind of person that should even be a manager NO!An associate said also he is rude. WHY IS THIS ALLOWED. I often donate to Good Will but there are many other options that I will be explorimg.Eric the Mgr is one RUDE INDIVIDUAL WITH 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

I usually love coming here and looking for neat little trinkets and vintage furnishings, but my last visit was by far the worst. Music was unbearable, stuff was all over the floor, and children were running around yelling and screaming with parents nowhere in sight. During my last trip there were at least six unattended children running around, moving product and leaving it on the floor, putting Halloween costumes and clothes on, swinging toy guns and shields haphazardly, and getting in the way of other patrons. By far my worst experience at this location to date.

Nice, smaller Goodwill. It seems pretty clean. They sanitize carts for you. They social distance and mandate mask wearing. They probably need a bigger store for its location, next to Woodman's Grocery Store, Culver's Restaurant and Menards home Store. Store is about Half the size of some Goodwill Stores, but there are plenty of items on the shelves for sale. On my trip, I did not find anything to purchase. Yesterday I found boardgames I bought at the Lake Zurich Goodwill, which is twice as big and is near Barrington.

I can sometimes find some good stuff here but I really have to spend a couple hours here to find something. The prices are too high. I have to wait until their special tag colors go on sale. One of the ladies that works there regularly with dark short hair is very nice.

Staff is always attentive to the store organization, purchasing lines-calls get made when line gets more ppl, & customers. One of my fave Goodwill stores around to stop in at. Great finds. Check often tho & buy it when you see it or it's gone the next time 😉

Mangers play favorites big time over worked under payed I can’t even stand the smell just going very hard to Move up in the company worked there for years and asked a lot of times to do other things never listened to had enough of it and found a real company to work for and have more experience in just 6 months then I ever have working there

This location has gone way down hill. Staff 7s rude and prices are higher than retail on most stuff.This used to be the best goodwill in a 20 mile radius, now I won't be back.$500 used speakers, keep them.

This place is like a sweat shop. I have seen them treat their employees bad. They throw away half the stuff that is donated. They over price item when they aren’t making their quotas. They are all about money not their employees.

I give it a 2 star bc the clothes here is really expensive just for just for one pants they cost $9.99 and maybe like in an another store they could be like $2.99. So I say it is somewhere you have to bring a lot of money to buy at least one thing.
