This store is very disorganized and that manager Ty has some very interesting negative issues, that need to be seriously resolved, other staff members are okay, But the disarray of items in this store and the very high prices is mind boggling. When people donate items free the management should stop placing items at pretty much the same price as it's sold retail. The name say's Goodwill, resale and thrift store, not Goodwill Retail store.Besides it is so disorganized which can be overwhelming, I enjoy thrifting But, not at this location, too much negativity and drama, besides completely disorganized, I'm not into locating an item like a needle in a haystack, I'm into organization with professional customer service etiquette along with fair prices for a thrift store reselling used or donated items. This store is not it.

This Goodwill has a very wide selection of merchandise at very reasonable prices. They had workout equipment and decent workout clothes (women and men's), Halloween costumes and accessories, very cheap furniture (dressers and desks for $10 and less), kitchen supplies, books, and lots of other little treasures if you have a patient eye to look through packed shelves and clothing racks.

I overheard the employees talking about how anything high quality or designer that is donated here gets auctioned off instead of selling it in the store.

The employees get lot's of stars but Goodwill is a for profit company. The goods that people give them are sold at ridiculously high prices so do not benefit the poor. A Trader Joes reusable shopping bag that sells for $1 49 at TJs was $2.99 at this Goodwill. Give your used items to a real charity.

Today we went to shop at 4:00 PM and my child works at the Lombard location. All good until we got to the cash registers. I didn't care that I had to pay what I did, but my child has an employee discount that they were told works for anyone that's family. When we were about to pay, one of the managers (I don't know her name), stopped us from paying, saying my child had to pay. I was confused as I was told this discount could be used by their family. This felt like an act of discrimination and I think it's something stupid.

we stopped in today, my 11 yr old found some old cool games one of which my son wanted an old submarine game a lady took the game from my son and said these are not supposed to be out..I asked why she said they get sent away for auction..she also asked me to give her the others I had in my cart I said no..I asked for a 800 number she said they don't have one.. I didn't let her take the ones I had she ended up selling the ones I had to me in my cart already ...especially since she already took one game from my kid the lady said her name was marie...Marie is everything that's wrong with goodwill. not his fault people put stuff out that wasn't supposed to be out, but to take it from a kid ridiculous!!!

This goodwill has a large inventory of clothing and I find plenty of color of the week items, compared to other goodwill stores I have visited ( i.e. Bloomingdale, Schaumburg). The staff is very friendly and seem like they enjoy being there, which is nice to see. Overall, I recommend this particular goodwill, it's worth driving a little out of my way :)

Plenty of parking! New and used Christmas stockings available now in felt and velvet. Great selection of dishware, baskets, men and women's clothes for every season. Lots of craft supplies. I never know what I am going to find and that's the fun of secondhand shopping. Seasonal items summer and Independence Day items available. Plenty of summer clothes.

I didn’t expect this place to be so clean and organized. Went in there to look for work pants found a variety of them. I must say with inflation prices did go up but I was please to get 4 pants and a pair of jeans under $30 and good quality.

There was a high wind warning today, yet the manager was making people line up outside to wait their turn until it was "safe" to come in the store (wait, I thought our masks were keeping us safe!). I had my two small children with me. No way was I going to do that.Keep your store closed if you're making people stand in line outside during bad weather. And, yes, I realize it's my choice to shop at that particular location; however, if you're looking out for the "safety" of your customers, cover all your bases...not just what is PC at the moment.

I like this Good Will. I've found a lot of cool stuff there. What people don't understand is that while there are issues with every Goodwill store, you will find good stuff if you go enough times. This is a great store. Generally pretty clean and well organized. It does get a little crowded sometimes, but I think most Goodwill stores do. Five stars because they take all my donated items and five stars because the prices are good.

I always love the vibe of GoodWills and this one had that sort of home away from home vibe that I love so much. I didn't quite find what I was looking for, but honestly I'm not really surprised. I feel like the clothing selection is a bit too big as I always enjoy the assorted items section. Overall I enjoyed my time there and the staff was very friendly!

Ok this review might be alittle long so ill apologize in advance. My family loves goodwill I think alittle to much lol here's why. Most people really SLEEP on the real great things you find at goodwill the prices they have for items is really unbeatable and just amazing. I know my moms and sister love going to different locations just to see what they can find! My moms once found a real coach purse she was amazed but happy at the same time I mean come on I truly believe goodwill is the best franchise to ever happen to the earth!

What is all of these Goodwill corporations under the same Code marking used item up the place is suppose to be designed to sell all used items for cheap it’s giving to good will free and they try to get over on customers I see just used Nike clothing don’t suppose to be 5 0r 6-7.99 for shirts 👕 sweat pants 👖 and weather jackets 🧥 and hoodies and the furniture suppose to be at prices were we the people should lot hesitate to purchase all items when we’re in a goodwill - thrift and 2nd hand store 🏬 point is goodwill is finessing us all and they need a ride awaking were on to them and request your corporation raised thos tj maxx - Marshall and Burlington prices down why pay goodwill that kind of money if we can go purchase at TJ maxx - Marshall’s - and Burlington departments something new and fresh for those type of prices !! Same on goodwill corporation- owners - managers for finessing us customers coming to you guys establishments. Not cool what goodwill prices be in today’s time . 👎🏾

I really enjoy this place because you can get brand new things for really cheap and you can also buy gifts during the holidays for really cheap but that brings up another thing during the holidays they mark their prices up because they know a lot of people are going to go in there to get brand new things and then claim it's from the store when really it's from Goodwill I myself do this I go to almost all the Goodwills to get a lot of my fish tank stuff because I don't know why people don't sell their fish tanks very often they don't really go for a much so when you go to Goodwill you can find a really good fish tank with a filter and some cartridges and everything like that and there for $12 I got a 55 gallon with the stand for $12 at Goodwill it was amazing

TERRIBLE. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATIONI work for an estate sale company and have been donating to Goodwill, every week after a sale, for over two years now. I have NEVER had as terrible of an experience as I had yesterday. I came to the store with a full 17ft truck and not a SINGLE person helped carry ANYTHING off the truck. The employee, Miguel, didn't help me carry anything, nor did he help anyone who came while I was there. All he did was roll the blue bins in and out. He even brought bins out to me and went back in the store EMPTY HANDED. I have donated thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of items at this specific location (520 South Schmale Road, Carol Stream, IL) and will NEVER be going back again. I will also be following up with a formal complaint with the store. This type of service is UNACCEPTABLE and is making me reconsider taking all future items to any Goodwill store.

High rent store locations, over priced for used goods they get for free, but TOPPING if off is the SIX FIGURE incomes for their top brass/CEOS. Nice work. Not much goodwill here, much more like good bucks. LOVE DOING BUSINESS WITH SALVATION ARMY. Organized by color and size, clothing is fun to shop for, with lots of great finds. This is what charity thrift recycling should be all about.

I do know? I return 2 item because open package very short size and tea color or blood color, so return 4 hours later not accepting.i asked costumer return policy it will mentioned. I spend 11 dollar wasted garbage next time not go goodwill and tell my friends don't go goodwill. robbery goodwill thank you good bye.

This place is always very clean and well organized! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Prices are fair and the goods are mostly in great condition!

I’ve encountered extremely rude staff on more than one occasion at the checkout and when dropping off donations at the Carol Stream location. It’s like they have a chip on their shoulder. Very disheartening since shopping there and donating items helps others. Makes me want to think twice about going there.

I really enjoy G.W. but disappointed today that they decreased the movie section by 50-70%. Now only one side of a shelf - what happened? This will regrettably keep me and probably other movie lovers away... :(

Over priced used items $3 for a chinese made flat head screw driver that sells for a $1 in any dollar store! The store has changed and not for the better of the customer.
