I adopted Lucille from MCAC. The volunteer and staff were very nice and informative. The volunteer even follwed up with me to see how Lucille settled in. The facility was clean and organized.

The MCAC team is a great group of people that genuinely care about animals. Likewise, they take pride in what they do as it shows through with their well maintained facility. Lastly, they provide a great service to those not only in Macoupin County, but also neighboring counties.

Love! Love ! Love the experience I've had with MCAC. Not only where they able to help with stay cat. They delivered her kittens and are going ween them off momma kitten as well. Im getting momma back after she's good to be released. Also there prices where unbelievable. Super affordable. I had a total of 4 cats being spayed neutered, shots, rabies and eat might treatment for under 400. Im from the city and best believe that would have been the price for just one kitten. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond. Super glad with my over all experience!

They were super helpful and answered all questions I had even though I was terribly early. I happened to be there while they were cleaning and you can tell they take pride in keeping the animals areas clean. All of the animals were healthy and we were able to take home a super sweet female kitten. They were thorough in explaining paperwork and the details once we got her home. They were recommended to me by multiple people and through Facebook and I would definitely recommend adopting from their facility to others. They accept donations and volunteers as well!! Call and ask if you have questions!!

The new lady here will leave you completely baseless citations. She doesn't have a clue what's going on and needs to be fired immediately. I plan on filing complaints with the county official who is in charge of this dept as soon as possible

The most helpful people ever. Even though I haven’t found my forever fur buddy yet, Julie has gone far and above trying to find that perfect fit for me. I appreciate all that she has done to help me. Hopefully one day we will find him or her. Thank You Julie!

This is Daisy, now know as Stella. We adopted her about a week ago. She is a true delight. Staff at the kennel were very kind and patient with me as I tried to find the right dog to come home with me and my Irish Setter. She has settled in very well is such a delight.

I spoke with a very kind and helpful animal control officer. I called to discuss a case of animal abuse/neglect. Just a tip: make sure you have a lot of photographic evidence. Eye witness stuff isnt strong enough.

Very disappointed!!!! I have called about availability of dogs that are up for adoption and never have my calls returned. I have always bought my dogs however, everyone has told me I should adopt, but if you cannot get a phone call returned, it makes it pretty difficult. I suppose I will go back to buying instead of attempting to adopt.
