This is a decent store. Not as big as some of the ones in St. Louis area but big enough. Has a good variety. I was disappointed in the deli. No sandwiches or much already made food like wraps and such, which is what I went there looking for. Maybe I missed them. Still a good store.

Fair selection of produce, though more expensive than other stores. Hygiene products are also available, but they are also more expensive. The store usually carries pretty good cuts of meat. There is also a deli and a hot bar for lunch on the go. The store has begun to follow the trend of having customers do unpaid store labor with a self checkout and usually 1 employee actually running a checkout lane. They also have an inventory robot that will run you over if you don't watch out. Schnuck's employees are in a union, so that is a plus, and the reason why I give it 3 stars.

Schnucks itself is just fine, pretty nice even; but the CVS/Pharmacy inside the store is slow, cluttered, bereft of any real customer service and slow...so slow. CVS should open a free-standing location and close this location down.

Had been awhile since I had been in here. Still has a great selection of fresh fruits, deli meats, and butcher. . .but after that I feel like I'm at Walmart. Everyone standing around while I check myself out, but now this machine doesn't take cash, so have to find the one open lane. . .

As I do enjoy the cheap prices and friendly service. I do think that security needs to take customer safety more seriously. I was shopping with my tween and husband, when a female came up to us and said: " I'm trying to feed my 3 kids, and I can't afford it." First off I know this is a scam, second off I know that there are plenty of places to get food for the needy in Carbondale. She seemed to be on drugs (I'm a recovering addict, I can detect a drug addict pretty well.) She wouldn't make eye contact, and couldn't keep her story straight (I asked her about her kids three times, and she kept giving different names and ages.) Then I told her that I was using food stamps, and that she would not be able to get money back for the food. She decided she didn't need food anymore. When I told the security guard, he blew me off. I do hope she gets the help she needs.

The workers for the most part are positive and it in the best location you can ask for. Accesible from East & West HWY 13 . There's a security guard posted outside the door & the parking spots have good spacing.

Great selection, clean store and friendly staff. Good salad bar and assortment of other prepared foods. Can always find what you're looking for. They often have items no one else has. Their app is fantastic as well.

I love the store but I got a prescription for my son and the pharmacist was awful did not ask if I had any questions about the new medication. When I asked he seemed bothered by me asking. Costumer service is horrible at the pharmacy now it used to great before. The new people that work at the pharmacy need to learn more about Costumer service.

This is a very affordable place by far from carbondale or marion Illinois I have been here. Very good selection of meats plus I love the fact that you have a whole box of meat various types such as chicken, ribs, pork streaks and another 1 forget all for 20... good deal. Definitely coming back here again

My new grocery store only when making a specific recipe because they have the most selection in area, highest prices though. The store needs some cosmetic upgrades to align with being higher end like this. New shelves and nice flooring would make this a stop people want to come back too. I like a big floral and bakery they had plenty if you need to stop for life’s special occasions!
