Great place to get quality food and supplies for your pet. You will pay a little more, but the quality of most food is better than the mass produced pet food. Plus it's locally owned for those of us who like to support local businesses.

Excellent pet shop, the selection of dog and cat food is amazing. The amount of fresh products that are available is amazing. The dog washing area is great, and the prices are well worth it. They also have a great selection of fresh baked goods for your dog. This is by far the best place for your dog in Carbondale.

Pure Pet is amazing. We take our dog there for use of their dog wash stations. It's so much easier than washing him at home. They sell food, toys, treats and pet friendly bakery treats. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This place is so amazing, with affordable yet high quality stuff in nearly every category and a caring, down to earth staff who will go way out their way for you every time. They even have a punch card program where you get every 12th bag of food free! So cool! Got this adorable harness there!

This is a Great dog and cat Pet store paws down. It doesn't sell hamsters, lizzards, fish food or filters, however, it does have an outstanding selection for your dog or cats needs. High quality food. No walmart brands except maybe IAMs but not sure. I do know their lower cost dog and cat food is a good price and far better quality than anything you will find at a grocery store. They have the best dogbone we have ever tried called bonezilla or dogzilla, sorry it escapes me as I write this but they will know if you ask. It it air dryed and coated in a real meat 🍖flavoring. This bone does not splinter and it last forever. We get our dog a new one every Christmas and he is still loving the old one when we do. He will keep both for several months. The staff is just amazing. If I owned a business I would want this staff regardless of the business. Extremely and genuinely helpful. They have an outstanding knowledge base and many have experience with most of the products they sell. They also have bathing 🛁 stations you can wash your dog or, GOD have mercy, your cat at a very reasonable price. While there may be some products that are way out of my price range like Buffalo meat dog food, they do have them but also many products suitable for the working class like the dog food I mentioned before. Trust me though if I could get the Buffalo dog 🐕 food I would in a heart beat because it is quality stuff. They gave me a few sample bags and my dog ate it like it was prime rib Lol.So, the best part of all this, is they are local. So you can take of your pet and shop local at the same time. Btw... I have no stake in this store (excuse the pun) I am just that thoroughly impressed with it.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a large variety of high quality dog and cat food, as well as some wonderful cat toys, collars, bandanas and harnesses. They gave us a lot of helpful resources in our eventual search for a rescue dog, and a handful of cat food samples that they carry in larger bags.Shop local!

Time to update my review. This store still amazes me with their superb customer service (we call them friends). If you happen to meet either of the two Sydneys working they are just wonderful. Then Charlotte who also works there is so endearing and puts any worries you have at ease. Bianca so sweet and gentle with pets. My boy "Maui" just loves going weekly to meet them and stock up on healthy treats. They have assisted us many times guiding us to healthy options for our furbabies. I am thankful for a store like this close to our community. 💖

My dog hates baths but doesn't mind coming here. Their selection is amazing and the prices are great too! They always have enough staff bc it does get busy, but all the pets get 1 on 1 attention. They're awesome!!

This place is great! A wide variety of high-quality pet foods and treats. They also have a nice dog washing station that I really like. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended giving this place a look. I used to shop at Petco but I exclusively shop here now.

This is a great local store for all your pet needs! They have lots of selection and have the best ingredients in their products. If you are looking for healthy dog and cat food, I recommend coming here. I also love taking my pets here on their birthday to get a pup cake or pup ice cream. I’m very thankful to have this store in my area.

Pure Pet has the best owners and employees, they are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help. Everyone is extremely friendly and they remember you and your animals by name. They carry only the best products for our animals and they have AMAZING bath stations! They are pet friendly and my dog LOVES going in there and getting attention from everyone and extra treats from the bakery or the treat bar. They carry just about anything you may need for your animal. The best part is not only do they carry a variety of products, everything they carry is the best quality. The store is always spotless and clean. We HIGHLY recommend Pure Pet to anyone and everyone. Any chance we get to refer someone to stop in and look around we absolutely do. My favorite part about shopping local (Especially Pure Pet) is you know the employees truly care and they end up more like your friend. You can’t get that at a chain pet store. We are so happy we found Pure Pet! 🐾

Absolutely the most welcoming and pet-friendly place to go. The staff is so incredibly nice and informative. They remember my puppy's name when they see him! The store is very well kept with items not found in big-box chain stores. The grooming rooms are amazing and so convenient to use. Highly recommend that this is the place to go!!!

Fantastic pet store! Staff are beyond caring and always friendly. A true mom & pop atmosphere. Love the do it yourself dog baths. I have large dogs and it makes my life so much easier. They also have a pet bakery and single purchase treats so you can try things out to see what your pet likes. Go there, you won't be disappointed!
