The cashier rang up my order incorrectly and was trying to overcharge me by $5. I questioned why it was so expensive and she corrected the order. I ordered the roast turkey avocado BLT to go (among other things). I got all the way home and realized they didn't put any avocado on my sandwich at all. None. After paying $45 for dinner and two bagels for me and my 8 year old child, I would expect to at least get the ingredients listed in the NAME of the sandwich! Also, the bagels I got for tomorrow morning are TINY. Not their normal size. The costs have gone way up and the quality and portions have gone way down. I'm totally disappointed and won't be back any time soon.***Edited to say I did call the restaurant to complain and spoke to the manager. She was very nice and offered a voucher for a free sandwich to make up for it. Raising the service and overall score by one star each.

Disappointed with the new menu change and the removal of all the "bowls."The atmosphere would be great if the store layout was a bit different, but those doors on the West side slam so much, it is impossible to work over in that nook which would otherwise be a perfect study area.I like that Panera donates their overstock to non profits and they will give hungry/houseless people something to eat (wish they would do more or other businesses would follow suit).Dietary restrictions: They got rid of the bowls which were bread free.

I went through the drive-thru and placed an order only to get home which is quite a distance and had the wrong sandwich. Attempted to call the store three times, picked up all three times. Immediately hung up. I emailed the customer service line about the issue, and no response as well. Thank you so much for your lack of customer service Panera. It's good to know that your employees can mess up, and you will not hold them accountable.

It's been a while since I visited this location but shrink-flation hit them hard while I was away. Their Signature Chicken Sandwich (SCS) with bagged chips and Half Asian Crunch Chicken Salad (HACCS, both pictured) ran over 23$ with two waters as our drinks, excluding tip. I enjoyed the asiago cheese crisps as part of the SCS but the sauce overpowered these little ones and appeared to outweigh the greens. I recommend asking for your dressing on the side since the heavy handed prep team continued the generosity in my HACCS - dressing far exceeded the four chicken slivers (see if you can spot them in the pic).Their atmosphere remains upscale casual including real, environmentally friendly utensils and a fireplace (timing is critical for the ambiance experience). The crew is customer focused and supportive on the front end. The overall experience hit my wallet harder than I thought it would but it is a great place to catch up with family, friends, or business associates. Give yourself & crew ample time to enjoy the investment.Parking: Their drive thru service makes parking a challenge with the thru peeps not pedestrian cognizant - pedestrians always lose any auto-ped battle.

All I ordered was 2 drinks and a single bagel on my lunch break, took my entire 30 min break to receive a bagel. It took me taking initiative after seeing countless orders come and go before finally getting what I ordered. Had I not asked about it, I would've never received it. However, they apologized and corrected the issue so I cannot complain too much. Usually have good service here.

Panera in my opinion can be a bit or miss for many people. I find it to be a bit overpriced for the portion size as well as quality of food. It does taste pretty good but it will definitely run you up a bit of money compared to other restaurants. They did have a promotion this summer (2020) and I got access to 4 months of FREE coffee! I don’t really drink coffee much but who could say no to free coffee for 4 months🤯.I would say that if your looking for something different or more “fresh” then I would recommend going to Panera. The food is good but the only reason I give this 3 stars is because in a time of financial hardships, some may find this a little too expensive. Hope this helps!

Panera in Carbondale is my favorite group of people. They are often in high demand and do such a great job. I walk there for a lunch break and walk past other closer options but I feel like I just have to say hi to them.

Where to start..the customer service was terrible all throughout ordering the cashier just rolled her eyes everytime we we talked or asked her a question made it so uncomfortable even asking anything . On top of that it is extremely overpriced especially when the food we’re receiving isn’t properly made and the sandwiches are NOTHING like advertised! You WILL NOT get your moneys worth here . They try to make up for lack of meats in the sandwich with a free bag of chips… will not be returning

Most of the time this place is great.But today I was charged for 2 full meals and was given 2 halves.Not a problem, things happen. But when I told the manager about it, the ONLY thing he said was; "I'll make you more food, but is going to take a while (in an annoyed tone)" and he just walks off. Pretty rude. I understand people are busy, but the small things matter. A simple apology and care would have been nice.

Nice location but with room for improvement. Floors are very sticky and the place looks like it needs a bit more cleaning. Coffee is very weak( even a dark roast). Pastries are good and the staff seems nice. I was looking for a Sunday coffee place I thought I found it but not too sure anymore.

I always love going to Panera. We had ordered 3 sandwiches and waited atleast 10 minutes in the drive thru before they told us they had an oven issue and one sandwich got burnt and they had to remake it so please pull forward. I was a little aggravated but we waited another 5-10 minutes and they brought our food out and gave us 2 free cookies for the inconvenience. I definitely appreciated the nice gesture, and our food tasted good so I won’t complain!
