Teri is an amazing person, puts all her love and care into running her shop. Dogs and clients are like family to her. Been her neighbor for almost 50yrs and each of my dogs have been pampered by her. Free range concept at her shop makes it a great play date and perfect groom everytime! Teri is part of our family ❤️

I've been going here for at least 5 years with my 65# long-haired shepherd. I had been to at least 3 other places before. I found Shampoochie after I saw a couple of very-well-groomed golden retrievers at the dog park. The owner told me about Shampoochie and I've been going ever since. They take their time so the dogs have breaks, and especially with frightened ones like mine. They never over-groom as I've experienced in the past. My dog comes back completely cleaned up, his undercoat completely brushed out, he smells awesome, and he's trimmed instead of hacked. They are so, so friendly and responsive, but also totally low fi. They are hands on and don't rely on boxes or cages to dry your pet. They do all they can to make my dog as comfortable as possible. Love this place!

Shampoochie is a Hidden gem! A bit hard to find from the outside but full of life and love on the inside (both plants and dogs!) Teri and Rachel are amazing at what they do and truly care about your dogs.On top of a wonderful staff, Shampoochie has the best grooming I've found!If you you want someone who loves your pet as much as you do, this is the groomer/daycare for you!

I personally worked at Shampoochie Pet Spa for 2 years and must say that the owner of the shop, Teri, is the kindest and most amazing woman I have ever met! From the day I started working there she welcomed me into the workplace and made me feel like family. I noticed that this was not something that she did only with me, she was the same way with every animal and owner that walked in the door as well. She keeps a close eye on her employees and makes sure that each dog is taken care of carefully and properly. Dogs that are more insecure or scared are even given special treatment while at the shop! I was "assigned" to a couple different dogs that were more anxious while I worked here. Basically what this means is that I worked with that dog every time when he or she came in to get groomed. I was the only one who ever washed and dried that animal. This gives the dog a sense of familiarity and security at the shop and its what Teri's goal is. As a groomer, she wants to get each dog washed, dried, brushed, and cut in a timely manner. As a person, she truly wants each animal to feel comfortable and enjoy their time spent here. I cannot stress enough how well each animal is taken care of here! I loved working with Teri so much because she cares so much about each and every animal that walks in the door. TAKE YOUR PET TO SHAMPOOCHIE! I promise you will not regret it!!

Do you smell what I smell? When you first walk in to Aurora's Shampoochie, the horrible stench is overwhelming. My son had to leave the store as he couldn't stand the smell. The dogs have free range here, so they pee and poop whereever they want - and it shows! I can't believe this place has so many stars. Aside from that fact, my shih tzu got a terrible haircut (uneven on his face) because he couldn't "sit still" on the table. He just wanted to play with the other dogs below, which is understandable. The owner says he needs to "get used to it over time." How many haircuts will it take for my dog to settle down and stop moving so they can cut him evenly? I love the free-range concept of this spa, but management was very unaccommodating to fix the mistake they made (I was surprised they even sent him home looking like this) and their customer service was sub-par. I can handle bad haircuts and lack of customer care, but the smell was most bothersome at Shampoochie. Too many other choices out there competing for my business - and they smell a whole lot better!

I have been going to shampoochie for 15 years! Terri is wonderful to all my fur babies!! We have taken our two Bichin Frise and now our Biewer Yorkie/ Bichon! We love the play dates with the other fur babies! I wouldn’t go any place else!

I don't know about their grooming business but DO NOT BUT A PUPPY FROM HER!!!! She sold me a cavalier that was sick and gave me meds that's were supposedly from the vet with the label tore off had to immediately take him to the vet and he had upper respitory infection and begining stages of phenemonia. He was covered in poop and and had worms. I was told he was kept inside and was going out to potty but he had obviously never seen grass in his life he wouldn't move for 2 days and she lied to me and would never call me back always had excuses and I know why she wouldn't call back now because she straight up lied to me!!!! I repeat DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM HER!!!! Very disappointed in how he was treated but rest assured he is well taken care of now!! Some breeders are in it for the money and puppy mill this was a deffinent case of neglect and take the money and run!!

My dog loves getting his hair cut there and loves playing with the other dogs. The folks there have always been friendly to him as well. We've been going there regularly for 5 years.

Business is run likes circus. You schedule appointment and you show up and there closed . never calls back , terrible choppy cuts No sign outside you get what you pay for absolute garbage. It's amazing she's still in business Hire ADULTS NOT A BUNCH OF KIDS
