Don’t fall for the Christmas sale. It is “original price 50%.”. A week ago you got a better cheeper price. Some of the stuff was already 50% off and you got an additional percentage off depended on how much you’re purchased. I was just in there, and prices were higher than before.

I rented an aerator from Rathdrum Trading Post and the guys bent over backwards to fit me into the schedule to get one when I called, right then. Matt then offered to drive over to my house to help me unload it here and then also came back later to help me load it back in my pickup. I greatly appreciate their help! Customer service was really top notch! Thank you.

This was my last hope for finding some plumbing supplies, I had gone to all the big stores and plumbing outfits in Spokane and CDA. Everyone told me to call the manufacturer for a solution. However, Matt (I think was his name), took the time to listen to me and look over all the parts I had and helped me find an out of the box solution! Customer service is at an all time low but these guys went above and beyond. THANK YOU!!!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. If they don't have it they can normally order it in for you at no problem. Love a local business like this and they have a great fasteners guy there who is amazing with troubleshooting just about any problem and if he can't, then he has a pretty good idea of where to direct you to. They also have local vendors art on display for your home or garden that are great for gifts or for yourself! Always a great place to check out.

They had a blade adapter for our lawn mower that I couldn’t even find at Lowe’s or Home Depot, Amazon didn’t even have it. Was super impressed to find it here. Staff is always super helpful . Recommend this store to anyone yes!

Rathdrum Trading Post has a very homey feeling. Definitely not a corporate feeling. Sometimes it takes awhile to get help when you need it. Store is clean and has a nice layout. Good variety of goods and services. There are Veterans discounts in place. You can even find items hand crafted by local artists such as candles, metal signs, and some wood work. Personnel is knowledgeable and eager to help. I think they are slightly understaffed though. As I referred to earlier, it sometimes takes awhile to get help when needed. Wecwill continue to make this our hardware store of choice.

Decided to try it out, decent looking prices and selection. After comparing things for 5 minutes an employee comes up and asks if I'm finding everything I need. I say "Yup found it thanks, just comparing". He gets this serious look on his face and says "I hope so." and walks away. Would've been a nice time without the tough guy that thinks he has shoplifter vision, everyone else was great

They have no storage space so you can pick up half an order and come back to get the rest. They do not offer a solution. I felt like my needs we not important that it is all about the store and the customer doesn’t matter.

These people went above and beyond for me and my kiddos today. Just wanted to say I'm extremely grateful. I love them.If you have to move timber, slash, or downed trees they have CHOKERS! This is the only place I have found them locally. They price is great too.Friendly and helpful. Love them!

Better than Ace in somethings needed pocket screws Ace sells singles this place had packaged. Friendly and helpful staff. A little pricey on a few things, but it's closer than the big box stores

Once again yesterday the wonderful Trading Post staff went above and beyond for us. They were able to “unjam” a piece of small power equipment and we greatly appreciate this. A few years ago after moving to Rathdrum we stopped in after closing time for a home need. Though they were closed they allowed us to get our needed items. The whole crew/team here rocks! Thank you.

The store staff get a 5 star rating, store's selection gets a 5 star rating, store's value gets 3 star. Just because you've got the monopoly in the area for hardware doesn't mean you have to overcharge. All-in-all I give it 4 stars.

Thank you to the great folks at Rathdrum Hardware for going out of there way to get my snowblower in before the storm hit today. Matt specifically called in a tech to get my warranty issue fixed within 24hr.!!!! That’s amazing service in a time of year I could have waited two weeks in line to get it repaired. Thanks to the team at Rathdrum Hardware I will be enjoying my snow blower today!

This is a well established, locally owned hardware store. They have almost anything you would need, including tool rentals! The people here are nice and knowledgeable.
