Not much you can expect from Home Depot, except to have stuff in stock. This location is constantly out of stuff for weeks on end.Older returns customer service gal is also extremely rude. I waited in line for 4 other people ahead of me. When I got up there, she was mad I had to pull up 3 different receipt emails, which took about 20 seconds each. She said "next time take photos of physical receipts and have them ready". As if that's any faster then pulling up an email. How about you get more then 1 return person on a Friday afternoon when it's busy.

Pat, the overnight manager, was exceptionally polite and curious to me as a delivery driver. He was the only one who showed attention and respect to me while I was waiting to get my trailer unloaded. Pat is an awesome guy and deserves this 5 star review.. thank Kevin frpm May Trucking

They lost my online ordered water heater... TWICE!Then, they replaced it with a more EXPENSIVE unit!STILL WAITING FOR REFUND FROM THE 2 PREVIOUS WATER HEATERS!!!They lied to me repeatedly!One month without hot water for the disabled seniors I take care of!Never going here again!

We have been working with the folks at this Home Depot for about a year. Building some condo's up on the mountain, so lots of orders and deliveries. The staff at this location have been great. In particular SARAH TYLER has helped us many times to resolve different issues. Really appreciate all of her extra efforts, she has "saved the day" for us several times. THANKS!

I came to get a piece of plywood to put over a hole in my crawl space wall. I was referred to Erik, who went above and beyond! He helped me find the plywood I wanted, cut it to my measurements, and helped me get the 2 pieces, which ended up being 3 pieces because we couldn't get the larger piece in my small car. He took the too big piece back inside and cut it to a size that made it fit after I gave him another measurement that would work for me. Such a pleasure having his help with this purchase!

Ok why I like homedepot over lowes I just bought a champion generator from homedepot and I wanted it to run my well pump 240v 30amp plug. Thought it had one but got it home oil,gas fired it up and went to plug my well in and wrong plug ooooh shiot it's a 120v twist lock plug not 240v. Well it's my bad for not looking closer at it and said that was an expensive oops. At lowes once you buy it they are hands off deal w the manufacturer they say but NOT homedepot i called and told them my oops and they said bring it back w no gas/ oil in it and a receipt no worries!! I was like what?? Ok now you have my business glad I got a homedepot card cuz I'm spending all my money there now. Sooo I returned the generator and bought all new appliances for my house. Thanks for taking care of your customers homedepot.

Great selection if products. Worst customer service ant store I've been in. I was trying to show the young man what I needed and he saw another customer and left me standing there to find what I needed on my own. My pipes were frozen at my water filter and was trying to bypass it to get water again which I did with no help from your staff. Worst experience ever.

I must say last friday was the best customer service I have had at Home Depot. Not only was the checker friendly, but one of the guys helped unload my cart into my car (without me even asking for help) . It was so nice to have the assistance, and so appreciated.

I frequwnt this home depot and many of the staff are amazing. One staff member left me hanging for about 10 mins before I asked for help from another staff member, then I saw him over just chatting with other employees. Quite frequently I've found the inventory is not accurate by a lot. I've gone in for items specifically that will state 40, or even more of an item, then spend a bunch of time searching for it, to find out it was mis inventoried and isn't in stock, which causes a loss of time and money.

The Ponderay Idaho store is one of the best Home Depot locations that I've had the pleasure of shopping at.The store Associates are accommodating, knowledgeable and always smiling. I shop at Home Depot quite a bit. I do a lot of online shopping and have it delivered. Out of town, with no problems $35 fee for delivery from Kalispell to Libby or anywhere else I guess. Makes my life a lot easier.

Worst customer service EVER! I ordered online and paid online.when I drove 2 hours to get there, my order was shorted by one item. No One called us to tell us this. I was told they only had one in stock when they pulled the order, therefore their inventory was not correct at the time I placed the order. They sent an email 1 hour before I got to the store. Which did me absolutely no good at all because I was driving when they sent the very tardy email.! When I called and talked to a manager about compensation for my 4 hour round trip, they were unwilling to do anything !!! There are alot of remote area's around this store so you would think they could pick up the phone and call us!I will think twice before I order from this store again!It would be in your best interest to NOT TRUST quantities shown in stock, online! What a huge waste of half of my day!

Out of stock on your 1/2" 4x8 sheets of drywall. Buyers and management should be outsourcing out of stocks. Out of stocks equal zero sales. I was able to get everything I needed at Badger down the road for the same price.

Your cashier James is by far the rudest person I’ve ever met in customer service. I brought back around $100 in returns of extra pieces and bolts we didn’t use on a chain link fence we built. After spending over $3000 worth of materials at this store, I don’t know why a few return items is the biggest hassle ever. He didn’t scan half of my items, but he did put them back for inventory. By the time I got to the car and looked at the receipt I had two screaming toddlers from waiting in line so long, I decided it’s not even worth it to go back in. Mistakes happen but there’s no need to be THAT rude to someone who’s just trying to get their hard earned money back after spending an absurd amount on a fence. I even said “have a nice day” after the interaction and he was STILL a huge jerk. I’m amazed. Try a different Home Depot..

Had a washer and dryer delivered, almost $2000. The delivery was great, after 4-5 days cloths started smelling burnt after drying. Was told from the delivery guy the units were covered for 30 days no questions asked. Called Home Depot and the said we have to call LG, there was nothing they could do. We had also bought the 4 year extended coverage. So after a week, we have a dryer that doesn’t work properly, would not recommend

Bought a chainsaw from them. Asked 3 individuals if it comes with everything I need to run it right when I get home (filters, bar, chain, etc. etc.). 3 different people told me thought it did. I set up a credit card with them to make this purchase happen and so I could buy everything else I needed for a big fence project. Popped the chainsaw out and it looked fine. I of course didn't notice it was missing a cap for the bar oil. Bring it home, can't use it without that cap on otherwise bar oil will leak out! Called the manager at Home Depot, she didn't offer to replace the cap or anything, she said to go buy one at a hardware store, or return it. I just spent over 2 hour round trip to get it, multiple calls on the phone, etc. to get this and other stuff. And I have to get stuff done today. So I will be returning this chainsaw and going to North40 (should have just gone there from the get go). You get what you pay for. You want cheap (even though it is not cheap anymore; fencing was over $300 for a 100 ft roll), than go to Home Depot. Customer service, the quality of materials (splits all up in the lumber there), don't have a lot of simple items like fence screws, etc. are the reasons why Home Depot is my last choice for anything building supplies. Not my first rodeo with an experience like this here. I honestly hope and pray a local small business comes in and knocks them out of business because it's been very frustrating working with Home Depot over the years.Going back to home depot right now to waste another 2 hours for a total of 4 hours plus gas. Basically took a day off running my business because of this misshap.Mistake on my part not having the cap but still not happy with Home Depot.

Terrible customer service in the appliance department. Outright lying about getting appliance off of shelves. Only one in stock, cheapest one possible. They never have a decent model in stock in any appliance and can't make up their minds on delivery dates. Go somewhere else if you need an appliance. Great customer service in tools

Great customer service. After i ordered a snowblower online that was damaged, the online people gave me the runaround for over a month and wouldn’t let me exchange or return it. I finally tried the local store. Online gave THEM the runaround for a week but they stepped up and made it right and restored my faith in home depot. Really friendly and helpful and we are grateful. Will always shop locally instead of online moving forward.

Last two times I have been to this store I either had to go to customer service and complain or I stood around waiting after I asked for help for more than twenty minutes with a group of employees standing around talking in the isle. This time I was told after driving an hour because the website said the oven I wanted was in stock…that they don’t have a single oven I can take home in stock and I waited ten minutes for someone to come and tell me that. Will go to Kalispell store next time.

What a disappointment.... I have been a military wife for 30+ years. We, as a family, sacrificed more than people will ever know. And now The Home Depot is decreasing what little discount they did give. Very disappointing!!! And putting a $400 limit per year ... wow, good job! NOT!!!I will be going to any other hardware store. ACE, CO-OP, IZZGY BUILDERS HERE WE COME.

Service for order to go was horrible. The guy that wheeled the items out wouldn’t help my husband load them. My husband hurt his back and it was hard for us to load the lumber. He was grumpy as all get up.Also, Home Depot now has a cap on Veteran’s discount per year. We will be traveling to Lowes for superior service next time. So disappointing!
