Kaylee has been training our one puppy(gsp/collie mix) for the last 18 weeks. He is a ball of energy but has learned a lot of amazing skills. He love to go and see Kaylee whenever he can. We have been so happy with Kaylee that when we got a second puppy(pittie/ rottie mix) we put her in the 18 weeks of training. Kaylee has helped us tremendously even with taking two dogs we are still learning how to work with them. Kaylee let’s us know if we need to change a class dates and we can message her with any questions we have. She also has given us recommendations on doggie daycare/ parks, food and health things. I will continue to take any puppies we get to Kaylee.

My son signed his dog up for group classes. He went the 1st time and then 2 days later he contracted COVID. He couldn't finish because he was sick for weeks. The 1st time he missed the trainer told him if he missed too much he would have to take the class over. No one has returned his calls. Petco should just be reimburse so he can go either somewhere else or reschedule the classes he paid for.

I'm in my third sessions of classes with Kayla at Petco in Nampa. I have been impressed with the methods she is teaching, and I'm loving the improvements in my crazy pup. The results over time have been incredible.Kayla has been amazing to work with, especially if there is a need to reschedule a class. She will always find an alternate time that works for you, and she invites others in the class to join as well. My dog lights up when we turn into the parking lot because he knows he's going to have a great experience (especially playing with his friends).

Trainer Kaylee at Petco is the best trainer we've had. Our 3-mos. year-old Shih Tzu just finished the six weeks and can do basic commands and is well socialized. Kaylee is devoted to this and it shows; she's also great at giving us problem-solving tips and is accessible via text. Well worth the time and investment. As the owner, I also have a lot more confidence with the structure of how to practice at home with homework for each week. My expectations have been met, and I am continuing with more training series.

Our trainer, Kaylee, has been fantastic. We have a red heeler and and with Kaylee's help she has gone from being a crazy, rambunctious, stubborn pup to an intelligent, (mostly) well behaved companion. I say mostly only because she is still a puppy with wild streak, but the improvement is considerable as we have complete both puppy levels and are looking forward to our canine good citizen class in a couple of weeks.

As the dog trainer at the Nampa Petco for over five years... I make it VERY clear to all my students that if they have a problem with me, or they're not getting what they want/need out of my training classes to just talk to me, I will make it right. I don't want anyone to be unhappy with their service, if it's something I can control. If communication is open, I will gladly accommodate those who require it, as long as it is brought to my attention within 30 days of the purchase of my training class(es). I can't help you if you come back months or even years later. I do my best to keep open communication with my students, and I expect the same in return. If I don't know there's a problem, I can't fix it. So before you give me a negative review, communicate with me, and see how I can help. Also, if you don't practice what I teach you and your dog, you're not going to see results. I'm training the pet parent more than I'm training the dog. It's a team effort between you and your dog. I provide you with tools and resources to help you and your dog communicate better, using fun and positive reinforcement training. I take pride in my job and how I help people and their pets. If you're looking for a positive dog trainer with over 10 years of positive reinforcement dog training experience, I just might be a good fit for you and your dog. Don't waste your $ or time. I took another dog to Petsmart a few years ago and she did a great job with 8 sessions for a great price. I had a very well behaved dog after training. Petco only gave us 6 sessions mostly worthless so we didn't even go to the last class it was so lousy. Our dog learned nothing because the trainer spent no time interacting with us. I checked and no refunds after 2nd class so we're out the $ with zero results. Much better trainer at Petsmart than Petco in Nampa. Now I have to find a real dog trainer.
