Everyone was super friendly and helpful since the moment I walked in. Love this store!! Wish I could’ve looked around but my daughter isn’t into hardware stores yet lol. Not sure how the prices compare to other hardware stores or the quality of their stuff since this is the first hardware store I visited here in Moscow and only bought nails and batteries. But they did seem to have decent prices.

I love shopping at spences they have something for everyone. This time I tried a new chicken food a high protein mix I probably won't be buying it again. Putting it in the truck the bag ripped open wasted so much of the bag. I love the product but dislike the packaging. The kid who works there was very nice got us a big plastic bag. I would warn customers the packaging rips very easily.

This place is so great especially compared to Moscow building supply, where they used to treat you like a person. The people are like one big family that work there and are always super helpful.Your treated like an actual person.

Every time we shop at Spence, the service is incredible! Attentive and helpful employees offer assistance every single time we shop in the store. You can’t get service like that in one of the big box hardware stores! I just returned from my second trip there today and wanted to give my compliments to the staff. Five stars!

We go regularly here for animal feed, farm and garden supplies, and building hardware.They have a good, well-organized fastener section. Plumbing and electric supplies aren’t quite as extensive as a full-on building supply store, but great for a farm store.

I would like to thank Spence Hardware & Supply for making my purchase of a Honda FourTrax Rancher 4x4 ATV a wonderful experience. They also installed a 2500lb winch and a 55 inch blade that I will be using on my driveway this coming winter when its snows. I would strongly recommend anyone that is looking for an ATV, Side by Side, or Motorcycle to shop first at Spence Hardware & Supply.Once again, Thank you Spence Hardware & Supply!!!!!

The people here are very friendly and helpful. I came there looking for a screw replacement for a tool, and the guy helped me to find the right metric measurement for the screw and to find a perfect similar replacement. I had been to another hardware store, and they didn't have what I was looking for, but Spence's did!

Ian went out of his way to help me with my key issue. Friendly service. They usually carry a large variety of whatever I may have gone in for. Besides having hardware supplies, they have a farm/ranch themed gift shop that I enjoy browsing.

Rarely have I experienced customer service so good that I asked to speak to a manager of a business to compliment them on their staff. This was one of those time.I needed to rekey three knobs and three deadbolts to secure a house. Kevin worked with me on the logistics to get the house completed and got them all done quicker than promised.In addition, ever single employee in the store was cheerful and anxious to help in any way they could on the three visits I made to the store in a two day period.Spence Hardware is a real treasure and, if I lived here, I would certainly patronize them as often as possible, as excellent businesses such as these need all the support they can get to survive in the world of big box stores and ecommerce.I encourage everyone to go to Spence for all their hardware and sundry needs.

I buy all my chicken food here. Their machine and farming implement shop located in their other building is the best in Moscow for untrained novices like myself. Kind, honest nonjudgmental, and informative staff. The other stores in the area do not suffer fools.

Great knowledgeable staff. I like that they are a hardware store as well as a grange type store or farm n feed! They have everything from paint to rain slicks carrhart gear, work boots, silver jeans, towing and trailer supplies, fencing, lp gasses and refills and tack and tools!

They have a lot of useful stuff, but always seems negative atmosphere when shopping. Most of the staff aren't very helpful or friendly (there are some exceptions!), and are sometimes patronizing and outright rude. They seem obsessed with the idea of potential shoplifting, which seems silly in this town. It seems like the management is poor and has developed a negative culture.

I have been a customer for years and the service is always friendly, knowledgeable and abundant, meaning you don't have to hunt them down. Selection is great and I am compelled to write a review because of the consistency over the years. Also, just bought a lawn tractor and weed eater and had a really great experience with that department as well.

I am at Spence probably once a week minimum. I went today to get a new hose, and when I came out, my car wouldn’t start. One of the owners, Al, and Verlin an awesome employee, took over an HOUR getting me back on the road! I will shop here first forever!
