I’ve been to this Ace Hardware store many times now. I’ve bought a 20 foot chain, shovels, bolt cutters, hitch, and other assortment of tools and products. All have been great quality at a great price. The employees are very kind and helpful. I felt comfortable asking for assistance and had a great and enjoyable time.

While the people here are super friendly and great at their job, they have popcorn in the store once a week. Great if you like popcorn, but when you are allergic and it is right next to the front door and the register, there is no way to avoid it. So they rate highly for their job, their skills, and customer service, but I can't give them the desired stars because I can't get through the front door without having an allergic reaction to the popcorn at least on Fridays.

It's a hardware store, the process reflect the remote nature of Montpelier. They have a great selection, decent lumber yard and the people seem pretty friendly. Prices are a little high, but not as bad as garden city. All in all, decent hardware store

Very limited customer service help in the store. Only saw two individuals working in the store besides the clerk checking out and those individuals were busy stocking shelves and not interacting with customers. Took some time to find what I was looking for. Bottled soda refrigerators were nearly empty. Think I'll pass on Ace in Montpelier in the future.

The store was clean and organized! They had about anything you could need! They also had a big ordering section for roofing and siding. No one said hello, but that is because they were all busy helping people!

Great local ACE hardware and lumber yard. The people that work here are really great and always very helpful. Not a lot of places to go in this area to shop. They carry a lot of useful items for the DIYer

This is my go to place for hardware and building material. Prices are good enough to keep me shopping local instead of big box stores out of town. Can usually find what I need for about any project. Helpful and friendly folks.

They have many needed items, but a bit pricey. Actually, I think the prices are low compared to what the only hardware store within 40 miles could charge if they wanted to.

Very poor service. Have spent 20 minutes in the store looking at chainsaws or other merchandise without being helped. I was within 10 ft. of the cashier. I finally had to ask to be helped. I have spent over $1,000 in the last couple of months and have rarely felt like they wanted me in their store.
