Our dog Finn is having an awesome time at Boise K9! The pool is a great way for him to exercise especially as he has some joint issues and he absolutely loves it! I appreciate that they have a nice stable ramp that isn’t slippery so my dog can enter and exit gently. We’ve also had great experiences with Chris and the staff and are looking forward to more visits!

This place was AWESOME for my super hyper lab. It was my first time there and the girls were extremely sweet showing me the ropes and getting treats after. I booked an hour and it was just perfect amount of time to have him swimming after the ball. I forgot our towl and ball but it turn3d outbto be fine because they have all toys there and towels also. When we left he was so calm. Not beat, but perfectly calm! I will love to go there again!

Boise K9 Fitness and Rehab has been our dog’s saving grace after he has had leg surgery. We saw improvement with his limping after one week! The swimming pool is his new favorite Saturday activity.

Dr. Chris is amazing! She has been so helpful on so many levels with our dog Socks, who had a spinal cord injury in November that left her back legs paralyzed. Chris has helped with everything from fitting Socks into her wheels (photo) to answering my multitude of questions to providing Socks with hydrotherapy, laser and dry needle treatments. She has taught us exercises to do together, encouraged me to sign Socks up for Brain Games and scent training classes at Boise K9, and referred me to specialists for care she felt they could better provide. Chris has quickly become one of Socks' all-time favorite people--Socks goes crazy the minute she sees her! Chris is a wonderful resource for people with special needs pets. We are lucky to have her, and I am so grateful to be in such capable and caring hands.

My 5 year old golden retriever suddenly started to have stiffness in his right rear leg and wouldn’t put weight on it. After two appointments and strict adherence to the exercises Chris showed us how to do he’s back to normal. The vets wanted to X-ray him but I felt it was a muscle issue. Chris diagnosed it after a few minutes and zeroed in on a very effective treatment. Now he’s back and after a two hour romp on the trails he’s perfectly comfortable, no pain or stiffness. He absolutely loved going to see her and I’ll continue to use the pool so he can do his favorite activity, swimming. Thank you Chris!

Great Discovery!!! I took my Golden Retriever here for a Birthday Party with several other Golden Retrievers and we had a blast! I signed up for more swimming in the future, as my girl is 9 years old and arthritis is starting to creep in. Great way to gently work her muscles. Clean facility and nice staff!

omg Chrissy is a angel from heaven I swear! she not only helps dogs get their exercise but also can help with Physical Therapy.Her facility is always clean and is so welcoming. It is always so easy to book with her. Would highly recommend her to anyone in the treasure valley who has a dog even if they don't need PT. The pool alone is just amazing!

Boise K9 Fitness is a facility that was much needed in the Treasure Valley! My 2 labs absolutely love using her NADD pool for practice. It's a great way for them to get exercise in during the winter. Prices are reasonable and she offers different time packages to suit your needs. We even appreciate that she opens up her space to dog trainers. My older lab and I are currently doing a scent training class with a trainer. Highly recommend this place to dog owners and businesses!

I am so grateful for this place! Chris is an amazing PT and is helping me to help my German Shepherd with her dysplasia issues as well as arthritis. Swimming is so great for her and the PT and swimming will give her a better quality of life! Thank you, Chris, for having this dream and putting it into action. My 14 year old dog has been having difficulty with ambulating and getting around his hind quarters have been very weak, with the help of Dr. CHRIS and the exercises and therapy modalities that she uses on him. He is doing very well. He loves her and catches on very quickly to her new exercises and treatments And Scout & I Thank her for all she’s doing to help him. He has his personality. Thousands of dollars in vet bills and a dog who didnt want to bear weight on her knee surgery leg= I was lost, fearful and hopeless! 😮‍💨 Treasure Valley Canine Rehab/Physical Therapist Chris ABSOLUTELY came to my puppy's rescue, as well as returning my hope and peace! ✌🏾I had completely lost faith in my vet because of their lack of PT recommendations or knowledge. Vets only know surgery but Chris knew MY dog and how her body, muscles, and mind worked. Chris is fantastic and the best in her field 👏🏾. The only regret you'll have is not calling her sooner! 🐶

Love this place! Holly and I frequent this establishment weekly if we can! So clean and well maintained and The owners are awesome! NADD regulation size dock with a nice wide ramp and a starter dock as well! So many activities and the owner is a Physical therapist which is a huge plus!

I can't say enough about Dr Chris. Our Australian Shepard was having issues after his surgery with walking. I tried to rehab him myself and it was not working. Dr Chris came into our home and built his legs back up and now he can walk and play again. Without her, I truly don't know if Mox would have recovered. We use her exercises to continue progressing and every day gets better. I am so happy we found her.

Boise K9 is an awesome! I have a senior dog who loves water, but didn't have a clue how to swim. With the help of staff, my rottie has the confidence to get in the water. I'm hoping 1 or 2 more sessions and she'll be able to do it on her own. She loves it and the safe are just plain AWESOME!

Dr Huxley is the best! Our Great Pyrenees had knee surgery on the same knee twice and we were struggling to get our pup back into shape. Found Dr Huxley and through her P.T, heat therapy and acupuncture our dog Sophie is walking and playing like a puppy again. Highly recommend Dr Huxley if you have a animal that is struggling after surgery.

Top of the line dog physical therapy... 5 stars to Chris for helping our dog Daisy rehab her leg. I had no idea PT even existed for animals until our Daisy (13 yrs old) tore her ligament on her back leg making her unable to walk on it . We were advised to see Chris for PT since surgery would not be a good option at Daisy's age. We couldn't be happier that we chose to take this path rather than surgery. My dog Daisy is now able to walk on her leg after 6 weeks and even run at times. Chis has easy exercises for us to do at home and also treats Daisy to light therapy and water therapy during sessions. Daisy used to be scared of going to the Vet but after seeing Chris for PT she literally jumps out of the car and to the front door to see Chris (sometimes I wonder if Daisy like Chris more than me... lol). I think Daisy knows she will be treated so well and also knows she will feel amazing afterwards too. Huge Thank You to Chris for her kind, gentle and very knowledgeable ways. I am grateful Chris is following her passion and what she was meant to do on this earth... helping animals. Daisy says "thank you" too!

Chris saw our dog for a front leg limp that medication and multiple vet visits weren’t helping with. She was very thorough with the evaluation process, gave us exercises to work on throughout the week. Within a couple of visits we could see improvements with our dogs limp! It’s very convenient that Chris is able to come to your home and bring all the necessary equipment. We highly recommend and are so glad that we found Chris while in Boise!

My 10-year old chihuahua mix lost the use of her back left leg and also injured her front left paw. Her situation created a complicated physical therapy approach. Chris Huxley developed a therapy plan that allowed us to address my dog's mobility challenges with the added benefit of having the therapy provided at our home. I am amazed at the progress my dog made in a few months, and I am so grateful for everything Chris taught me that will allow me to continue to work with my dog to ensure she stays mobile and active. I am so happy we went with Treasure Valley Canine Rehab for our dog after his hip surgery. Dr. Chris was SO easy to get ahold of whenever I needed to, SO good with our dogs and SO patient while teaching me the exercises for our dog. She made ‘Bernard’ so comfortable while doing his treatments (several different therapies in each session) and was flexible for scheduling. I am so glad we could do all the treatments in our own home, with Bernard’s people and on his terms. He has healed well after surgery and gets SO excited to see Chris!
