Rocky & Bill take good care and concern for their clients pets. I loved how fast efficient and likeable - my 13 yr old yorkie comes home happy NOT stressed out ( we tried at least 5 groomers and this one works best for our well being and grooming quality)

First, they said we had an appointment at one on the phone (but two when we arrived), then they had not finished either dog (one received a bath, one a haircut) fifteen minutes after closing time with no phone call to update AND no response when we called at ten after five to see if anything was wrong; as they’d had the dogs for over five hours at this point.Second, they mutilated my schnauzer. He has two burn/cuts on his rear legs, a brush bristle was lodged in his ear… and they didn’t have the decency to tell us to our faces (or over the phone, when they finally called at 5:50 p.m. to say our dogs were done) that they had cut our dog. Whose cut? Is a joke - she took one entire eyebrow off and left the other curled out.Third, we had to take our dog TO THE VET for the severity of one of the cuts and he is now on antibiotics.we wouldn’t take any of our pets there again if you paid us, and we’ll be telling everyone we recommended “Happy dogs” to, to go elsewhere.

I reached out to multiple groomers trying to find the best fit for our small dog. He's super anxious and very unsure of new people. He also doesn't like getting groomed. I advised them of this information and also let them know he can come off aggressive. They assured me they are really patient and work with this type of dog. The groomer asked if he'll bite, I advised he tries to bite the clippers frequently so I can't say he won't try. When I went to drop him off they said they were behind schedule. I asked if he'd be stuck in a kennel for a long time waiting... they said they would be sure to take great care of him. I was clear that if he is left in the kennel there will be no point to leave him because he won't cooperate. Again, I'm assured it'll be fine. I call 1.5 hours later to see if they've started working on him and the gentleman said they haven't. I told him I'd just come get my dog. When I get there the lady said he wouldn't let them take him out of the kennel... but according to the guy I talked to, this hadn't been attempted yet.My point is, if you are uncomfortable or unwilling to work with a high stress, anxious dog... say no. I was clear that he is extremely difficult to deal with. Don't say you can do it just to make a buck. Don't assure the client you can do it if you can't. This causes more issues for the dog in the long run and more fear associated with getting groomed. The second I dropped him off I knew I made a mistake, I should have went back in to get him. I came home and worried the entire time.This groomer may be great with dogs that don't have anxiety or fear, but it was a horrible situation for my dog.

I took both my Pugs to this shop. The first time the dogs have ever been groomed and I had a great experience. They were nice, courteous and everything they said they would do, they did. The dogs look great. I'm glad I didn't believe the one star reviews. I'm now certain there is another side to those stories. For me this place is where I will be taking my dogs for a long time.

My wife chose Happy Dogs based on the reviews off of Google, so we thought— awesome! They are close by and should be good.They didn’t ask about if she has existing conditions or anything. The biggest thing for me is that they cut her back nails so short that they were bleeding. I thought ‘must’ve been an accident or something’ until I saw the rest of her nails. All of the back nails are past her quick and they didn’t mention that this happened when my wife picked her up.This is really disappointing because we were looking forward to using a groomer around where we live, so we don’t have to drive all the way into Boise. Now my poor dog is just lying around because her paws hurt. Would not recommend.

We are thrilled with our experience with Happy Dogs Professional Grooming. We called last minute and they accommodated us with grooming our 3 boys in the same day. They were very warm and patient when greeting each pup. And our dogs came out clean, trimmed and so happy. We will be returning customers. Thank you so much!

They were very friendly and did a great job grooming. However, they cut my baby's dew claw so short she was bleeding for HOURS. No one spoke with me of this mistake being made, I would have felt much better if I could have been informed of this issue.

Took my English Mastiff here for the first time today for a bath, and nail clip. They even took the time to hand dry the big guy because he wouldn’t work with the drying kennel. They did a great job and he came out smelling great with nice nails. I will be using them again in the future!

I took my Scottie and Westie there yesterday. I was a little worried having the Westie groomed because of his recent surgery. They took excellent care of him! The haircuts were just what I wanted and the length of time and price were great! I will take my dogs there from now on knowing the excellent care they received!

I have used this place to groom my Yorkie because it is super convenient and has good reviews. Unfortunately, they cut my dog and didn't even tell me. I didn't notice until I got home. He had to wear the cone of shame for over a week. I went back a year later (again because it is convenient for me and I wanted to give them another chance) and they cut my dog again. This time they apologized but still charged me full price. Cone of shame for another full week. I mentioned this to my neighbor and she had to stop going there because they cut her poodle!

Brought my golden retriever in today to get groomed after 2 years of my being professionally groomed. The staff was super friendly and the prices are unbeatable! My dog is so much happier and looks like a brand new dog! Will definitely be going back!

I had dropped of my Aussie/Border collie to be cut, he was a long haired dog and you are not supposed to shave them because their fur will grow in patches. Well they shaved him and it was very poorly done, some spots are missed and longer than others. Not impressed at all.

This place Gave my dog the best bath and brush ever. They did wonders for his undercoat and even trimmed his dew claws. My dog came home happy and not upset like every other groomer. They have the magic formula.

We have taken out 3 dogs here, two have had hair cuts and all threes have gotten their nails clipped. They are extremely friendly and amazing with our fur babies, they always look so cute comming out of happy dogs! Would come here everytime for everything they offer!!

This is by far the best place I have ever taken my dogs. They have the best prices and are so loving to my little fur babies. She even gave me a little lesson on how to care for my dogs eyes. They're just awesome!
