I cannot say enough amazing things about Ellie and Downtown Tabby. My sweet kitty is a long haired cat who needs a good bath and deshedding every so often and I am so grateful I found such an outstanding place that is exclusively for cats and is a safe place for me to bring him. I was so worried the first time I brought him in because I didn’t know if he would tolerate grooming but I was amazed with how well he did with Ellie, she is incredibly talented and dedicated to her craft and I trust her completely. If you are searching for someone who will take great care of your cat and make sure they are comfortable, safe, and come home looking fantastic, I cannot recommend DTTabby enough!! Ellie did an amazing job with our Calico. She had never been groomed and our cat did so well with Ellie. They took such great care of her. All her matting is gone, she is soft and happy. Our cat is prancing around the home feeling really good. We will be back!

I am so grateful to Ellie for her work on both of my cats. They both have long hair and had never been professionally groomed before. One of them (Levi) just needed a brush, comb, and trim and he looks and smells amazing! Our other cat (Piper) needed a full shave due to extensive matting. Ellie was so kind and patient with both cats (even when Piper had pretty terrible behavior that was unusual for her) and about answering all of my nervous cat mom questions. She was great about educating us on the causes of matting and how to prevent it in the future. We will now be booking regularly with her for maintenance appointments. I highly recommend Downtown Tabby to anyone who is also looking for a groomer that is educated on caring and grooming cats specifically. I could definitely feel the care and passion for their well-being.

My senior cat was very very matted and downtown tabby, beat all my expectations. My cat was relaxed when I came to pick him up, his cut was over the top impressive, and when we got home I could tell he felt so much better! I look forward to our next maintenance grooming appointment! The time that they took with me to educate me on how to prevent matting between grooms, know how my fur baby did during his groom, and signs to watch out for was by far more than what I expected. I was also very happy with the salon itself and the extra care and precautions to guarantee a safe experience for every pet and owner.

Love Downtown Tabby. We've boarded our cat here a couple of times and they take such good care of him. They send daily updates, play with him, and give him love. Very clean facility and cat friendly environment. They also do grooming and nail trimming. I know he's in good hands of cat lovers here. We will board our cat here again.

Downtown Tabby has been absolutely amazing for our cat. She's a long haired cat and has struggled with large, frequent hairballs since we adopted her a few years ago. We tried brushing her out regularly at home and put her on hairball controlling food but it never seemed to help. Finally it got to the point where her veterinarian was concerned by the size and number of hairballs she was dealing with and recommended we look into having her groomed as a means of eliminating the choking hazard the hairballs were presenting. I figured having her groomed would help to some degree but it's been a night and day difference after just one appointment. We went from weekly, massive hairballs to just a few small ones over the span of several weeks. I highly recommend the deshedding service that this facility offers if your cat is also struggling with hairballs. It's really improved our cat's quality of life.

These people are cat experts! They will always do what’s best for YOUR cat. You don’t have to worry about your pet encountering any dogs or other cats during their appointment, which keeps stress low. My cat’s cut took about two hours and I received a lot of helpful information when I came to pick him up.

Downtown Tabby is the best groomer we have ever used for our Persian. They do a fantastic job of grooming our cat without any stress. They are also one of the few groomers around that actually bathe the cat. It’s in Kuna, but we’ll worth the drive.
