I drove for this company and it seemed great from the interview, but not after I started. The truck was brand new, trailers are old and are in constant repair. My issue is that they run illegally, beyond legal HOS. The dairy I went to the most in Utah was 715 miles round trip. Although they use ELD’s there is a way to cheat them and you have to and as soon as someone really looks at those logs, some big money will be forked out. I did confront the manager and he interpreted my complaint as not wanting to work that many hours and kept saying to select the “personal use” option on the log when out of hours or select “adverse conditions.” Neither of which is legal if you understand the laws correctly. You cannot use the adverse conditions rule 5 hours after hitting traffic in Salt Lake on a 90 degree day with the sun shining. That’s not what that rule was created for.
