All I can say is that the owners are so sweet. It really felt like a second home ❤️ if your into hunting and the outdoors, the owner should write a book of his amazing adventures and experiences. When we arrived I was sick and had low blood sugar. The owner immediately offered help. This really meant a lot. AND if you are a pet fanatic, they have the most amazing cat ever. It hobbies along on 3 legs. I guarantee you'll fall in love. Thank you both for showing us kindness and for sharing your stories. We'll be back next hunting season.....

Such a great experience, just a mom and pop ran deal and it's so clean and nice I was on a business trip through Idaho had spent the 4 nights before in big chain hotels and this was by far the nicest and best experience I had that week. And for being so nice on the inside being reasonably priced is amazing because they could be charging more but don't.Rooms: So clean and everything was in great shape.

Everyone should stay at this wonderful motel!!! The people who own& manage it are so great!!! They make u feel so welcomed & right at home. They have a good continental breakfast & the rooms as well as the entire motel r immaculate, the beds & pillows r comfortable. The bathroom was so clean, commode sparkling white. To bad more motels aren't as super as this one! Some of the 'name brands' should take instruction from these people n how to clean & make people feel welcomed & right at home!

This motel is a true small-town gem!! The hosts, Dan and Mona, were welcoming and friendly, the room was large, clean and comfortable with a microwave and fridge. I'm on a cross-country bicycle trip and will definitely remember this place as one of the highlights!!

We called to arrange a stay here on our cross country trip and we're so glad to have discovered this gem. We would have arrived after closing -- the inn is currently run by a husband and wife team -- and they worked with me to get us access to a room after they had called it a night.Got up to find the fresh coffee another reviewer mentioned and learned that the previous owner of the place had made a number of the stained glass windows around the inn herself. Lovely to find art and history AND a comfortable bed all in one place.

The owners are amazing people who are super sweet and down to earth. Their home, the motel, is absolutely beautiful with some extrodinarily comfy beds. I brought my service dog, and they were extremely educated about them and very accommodating. Their home cooked breakfast is super delicious as well. This may be the best experience I've had while traveling. I highly recommend this motel!

This was an awesome place to stay for us during our cross country trip. Super affordable, and the couple that owns it were very kind and helpful to us. Rooms were really clean and the beds were extremely comfy. These are the places that make traveling an experience. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Nice and clean rooms and very friendly management. Rates aren't bad and the Coffee made fresh every morning. I would recommend staying here. Especially if you want a good jumping off point to explore the beauty that surrounds the camas prairie.

I visit the Prairie Inn every year at this time. The very nice husband and wife owners are also the managers. They are very nice, friendly, and run a great business. More like a homie bed and breakfast feel. Highly recommended.

Extremely happy w/ The Prairie Inn. Owners are great people! We stayed in the anniversary suite & enjoyed the rustic log furniture and fire place. But, the jetted tub was the best after a long day on the road. Nice clean room & linens make all the difference & made us feel very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

I've traveled a lot. The rooms are very clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Watch out for the owners, they are super nice and friendly. A cup of coffee with them was epic.

This place is absolutely fabulous. I am traveling on my bicycle across the country and this had been a very cold and wet day on the road. I pulled into the Prairie Inn and was treated like a king. They gave me a great room at a great price. Locked my bike up in a safe place for me. Gave me extra towels. Helped carry my luggage to my room. And told me where to go in town for food. They also do a continental breakfast. They were able to give me a lot of information about how to get out of town and to my next destination safely. A great couple running a lovely little inn off the highway. Check em out.

My family stayed here for some fun adventure at Solder Mountain and hot springs not to far away. It was lovely, comfy and the owners made us feel like we were home. I highly recommend it.

Physically assaulted by another guest. A large group had booked every other room in the motel during my one night stay. Drinking and partying in the parking lot late at night. Tried contacting Prairie Inn management for assistance, but couldn’t get a hold of them. Asked the group twice to keep it down with no luck. The second attempt ended in one individual in the crowd lunging at me and knocking me to the ground. Police arrived and charges were filed. Still no contact from Prairie Inn management. Unsafe environment.

Very cozy and homey spot right off the highway in the middle of nowhere! We stopped for one night after a long drive and stayed in the 2 queen beds room on the first floor. Super comfy beds with pillow top mattresses and quilt-type covers, very clean and quiet! Mona and Dan are amazing hosts and take pride in their family business! This little motel on the prairie has a lot of heart and soul, will definitely stay again if in the area.

they had a sign in the window saying that they was not going to be back until 6 pm and so we had to look for a different place to stay. I don't know anything more about the place so they might be great or they might be terrible. I for one will never know.

These guys are great! Fairfield is a hidden treasure- with skiing, ATV trails, biking, boating, and fishing, this is a great base camp! Great food at 6 restaurants within walking distance.
