Disappointed in the Dog Wash. Brought my large breed dog in and got her rinsed down.. reached for the shampoo tray and all bottles were so diluted that I couldn’t wash my dog. It was as if I was trying to shampoo her with just water. I would have asked for assistance but the employees weren’t around to help, and I couldn’t leave my dog wet in the stall unattended. I asked the employees once I was finished why the shampoo was so watery and they said they diluted it because they didn’t have anymore shampoo from the supplier…. Not an excuse to mislead customers about having products available. I could have saved myself $18 if I wanted to wash with just water.

Very poor service, worst service ever. We bought a “coat” for the gig 2 days ago and it get damaged after the first run. Answer was we cannot do anything contact ruffwear. I know we’re I will not buy anything else for my buddy.

My puppy has become a finicky eater and I've been concerned that he isn't getting his nutritional needs met. I stopped in yesterday and had an incredibly helpful conversation with Evan. He was knowledgeable, patient, empathetic, and elaborated on things that made it clear he is incredibly invested in his job. He sent me home with some samples and I found one that got gobbled up! I was so relieved and am grateful to Evan for his help and concern.

Love this place. All kinds of hard to find dog food. They have a pet vaccine clinic about once a month. Great way to save some money and didn’t seem too crowded either... we were in and out in about a half an hour...It’s even cheaper if you have three vaccines done at once

Fantastic place for all your pooch's needs! (I'm sure they have products for all the pets, but we only looked for dog stuff.) Terrific, knowledgeable staff. Store wasn't overwhelmingly big, and was warmly designed. They offered an extremely generous "Adoption Bundle" of food and suppliments as we'd just brought home our rescue pup. Competitive pricing, too.

I found my local pet supply store 5 1/2 years ago, when we moved to Boise. Not only does NW Pets carry a wide variety of merchandise and pet food, the staff are knowledgeable and always eager to help. And--bonus--the Eagle location has a clean, well-outfitted, dog wash!The store is super clean and well organized, and their twice-yearly pet food sales offer an affordable way to stock up and save on the GOOD stuff.After about a year's lapse from the store (because my senior dog had needed a vet-supplied prescription food), I went in again this week. My sweet boy died this summer, and I'm now preparing to adopt another dog so had a list of needed supplies. Imagine my surprise when I learned they had a promotion going on to encourage the adoption of new pets from shelters or through re-homing. I received several high-quality samples of food, treats, and a supplement.Jacob, the manager, is fantastic. Having come up through the ranks at the Meridian store, his knowledge and caring attitude are invaluable. A special shout-out goes to Carol and Autumn for their help and advice on food. Great products, service, knowledge, and sales make all the difference. I haven't stepped into a Big Box pet store in years, and that's not likely to change.

This is a great store for your pet needs. Terrific employees who are knowledgeable and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. They carry well made products and excellent food both canned and dry. Prices are competitive to chain stores, but there are only 3 in the Boise area and I believe they are locally owned. I have been shopping at Northwest Pets since I moved here in 2019, usually at the Eagle store, but occasionally at the Meridian store if I am in the area and need something. We have also used the bathing facilities at the Eagle store to bath and dry our 2 dogs. Great if you cannot get into your groomer and your pooches are in need of a bath. Tubs are easy to use and they provide you with professional hair dryers and other things to make it an pleasant experience. Highly recommend this shop.

I've been shopping here the past two years. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I had to grab a new harness for my dog Bentley and the person helping me went out of their way to make sure it fit and went over the return policy. She even gave him some treats to settle him down while we set it up in the store. I also like the ease of the dog bathing stations here. We'll be back.

Bought 100.00 dog bed and zipper broke less then a week of use! Went to get replacement and they wouldn’t return or replace it! Lady next to me in line was trying to return pet carrier and she also got denied! Not good business and won’t be back ever!

Great knowledgeable staff. With all of the de-icer on the sidewalks we decided to get dog booties for our pup. The staff was super helpful in getting us the correct size and showing us how to put them on correctly. Plus knowledgeable on how to treat dried out winter paws.

Very helpful staff. They suggested a dry cat food due to my cat, vomiting daily. Worked like a charm! However, the same bag of joint ease dog bones I buy, cost $25, the same bag at bimart for $10.

My dog starts crying in excitement when we turn into the parking lot to go to Northwest Pets. The staff enthusiastically welcomes you and your pet as soon as you walk through the door. Usually, they offer my dog some of their natural treats and pet and hug him. There are a few employees who will literally drop to a knee to give my dog affection and I really appreciate this as a customer and pet owner. We want others to love our pets too, right? Besides the friendliness, the staff is well-educated and informed on products. They will take the time to explain any questions I may have. The store itself is extremely clean and organized. It is very large and has everything under the sun you might need for your dog or cat. We have fun just looking around at all the neat products. Sometimes we simply go there to browse, get my dog some lovin, and pick up something from the bakery cabinet. Most importantly, the products are high quality at reasonable prices. In essence, I bring my dog to Northwest Pets as a treat for him as well as for his health. There are really cool perks to shopping there too which I wont divulge online, just go there and see for yourself.

Great selection of healthier dog and cat foods. Staff are helpful and intelligent regarding common pet issues. Helped us figure out our dogs potato allergy. Recommended a great food (free of potato) and dog has been allergy free for several years since switching. I would not go anywhere else!

This Pet Store is very helpful. I love the dog bath facilities and Fido always gets a treat. The staff is over the top helpful. Lots of " must have " unique stuff. Although other stores are larger, NW Pets proves it's worth.

The staff is highly knowledgeable on pet nutrition. They stand behind their products & donate food to pets in need. Their prices are reasonable, some foods, like Stella & Chewy have a buy 10 get one free deal. They have a large selection of products & also a grooming area. You will not be sorry you stopped in here!

My mom and I went here to get some toys and treats for our dogs. Place is very nice and a great selection of dog friendly baked goods. They are on the speedy side, but their items are higher end than places like Petsmart or Petco.

We've been taking a few of our dogs here for different needs, and everytime they are able to help us with recommendations from harnesses, to health benefits and they are always spot on! They were even able to assist with helping to find a shampoo without allergens for the dog, or myself and let us use it right then in the dog wash - huge thanks to Northwest Pets for all you do!
