I shop a lot at Fred Meyer because I love nearby. Customer service skills at Fred Meyer is something that is seriously lacking in the employees. I have thought this on numerous occasions in the last few visits but yesterday set me off. The customer service desk worker acted as if I was a burden because I asked for assistance at the floral department. She paged the floral department and no one showed up. She paged again. No one showed up. This was frustrating because I had called before I arrived to ensure I could have my balloons filled for my child’s birthday party. So I left. Drove around town and ended up having to pay triple elsewhere. Why have a floral department if no one will be assigned the station while working?Also, if you work in customer service, check your attitude at the door. It’s not a hard concept.

I can always find just what I'm looking for and they have wonderful produce in summer time. The women's clothing is way to expensive but they have a lot of sale racks at all times and you can find some great deals. Employees are always very kind and efficient!

Last two visits I've had sale items not ring up correctly. Yesterday morning when this happened your associate at the self checkout told me I was wrong but she would let it go this time. Blaming your customers and being discourteous isn't what I expected as a regular patron.

They have messed up several pick up and delivery orders by substituting random things without checking with me. Even when I have changed the setting to no substitutions. How are bean and cheese burritos anything like pizza rolls? Or radishes for beets? I get that it's the shopper's for delivery orders but it's been different shoppers. And it's Fred Meyer's staff for pick up orders. I have literally gone in after a pick up order and found everything the shopper claimed was out of stock. Like bags of onions.

What kind of twisted store is this???? I’m 46 and they demand an id to get cold and flu medicine! It isnt alcohol. It isnt nicotine. It is cold medication. I ended up leaving my cart and bagged merchandise right there at the register and walked out. Needless to say this is the 1st and last time I’ll ever go to this store.

Good clearance deals on deli and produce items, staff are friendly and helpful. Joey at the gas station even washed my windows for me when I got gas at a slow time.

The management at this location is a joke. they are disgusting people. Tom is horrible and Tina is even worse. cant stand to see her snaggle tooth when i walk into the store. disgusting.

What in the world is all over this store? I have been shopping here for decades and in the last 8 months every clothing item or bedding I have purchased is FULL OF NATS OR BUGS OF SOME KIND! They infested our home!

This is specifically for the grocery pick-up (I’ve had great experiences with helpful staff inside the store too).First, the app is set up well, and they pay attention when you say you’re on your way … everything’s carted when you get there and they pop right out the magic door.They never fail to ask for coupons and are happy to take back empty bags for reuse.Icing on the cake: everyone is extremely friendly, which hasn’t been my experience at other grocery pick-ups.

This man makes me forgive the other sins of Fred Meyer. Wong has excellent customer service and getting me checked out at a speed I've never seen. This location isn't even my closest Fred Meyer, but the time I save with him checking me out makes up for the time to get there. The deals are never really "steals" and the other employees are nice, but this Wong fella really knows how to make a lasting impression. For me, he really is the face of Fred Meyer.

This is the Federal Way Boise location!!! They let their employees go to work with Covid and take their masks off!!! There are people that work there and shop there that CAN NOT be around it per drs orders, that is can kill them, cause it almost did!!

I don't know what it is about Fred Meyers and there since of lay out, And it's just not me it's my whole family and other people that I know that come into at Fred Meyer They got stuff strong all over the place I got bread over here and bread over there, can't seam to keep items all in one place. I spend more time looking for items than any other store .( maybe that's there game plane, longer you stay the more you buy) One if the reasons my wife and I don't go there to often. Plus there pricing isn't that great. And now there pretty much forcing you to use the self checkout....I'll go somewhere else.

Ameilea the cashier is awesome! Good sense of humor and when we mentioned that we were low income and running out of food stamps she was super helpful and pointed out that there are some local food banks that could be of assistance to us. Thank you so much!

Trying to pick up an order. I've been here 45 minutes and 6 orders have been delivered by the sole staff member doing pickups. So many people are waiting that I can't even get into one of the pickup parking spots. The Fred Meyer app won't let me cancel my order so I can go home and eat dinner, and the customer service help line is keeping me on hold while I freeze in my car.

Stopped here for lunch. They have a deli section, hot and cold food. Not bad. Park at the Pilot, walk across the street to the next parking lot.

The federal way location deli was one of the best in boise. Now ..well not so much..doubtless the reduction in service and edible food is for customer safety

Only four stars because everything is so hard to find. Things aren’t with other things of the same nature. It’s like they want you wandering everywhere around the store looking for things so that you impulse buy while you’re walking by stuff. I literally have to look at the ground so I don’t buy things I don’t need, which makes looking for things even harder lol.

I had the very best customer service ever in the Fred Meyer Floral Dept. Brittany and 2 other young woman helped me with the process of picking out flowers for my wife and co worker. They made this process both fun and informative. They even helped me to put the flowers in a new pot and are holding them for me for a day so I can deliver them to my beautiful wife on Valentines day. I would highly recommend this Fred Meyers to anyone. Every time I have been in I always get friendly service and smiles from every employee. Thank you for hiring the best employees and Thank you Brittany and I am sorry i did not catch the names of the other ladies that helped me but keep up the good work you all deserve a large RAISE!

I like Fred Meyer. If one utilizes the app ,scouts for close out deals and stuff, get there early in the morning for limited inventory specials ,one can do ok and don't get spanked so bad.

Cashiers are nice, but the deli is terrible, bad customer service and I just bought a really expensive bowl of Mellon's, supposed to be good for 3 more days, opened it up a bunch of moldy mush in there, not to happy

We were very unsure of what it was exactly that we needed. Fortunately, we ran into Andy in HomeGoods, and even though he was busy, he stopped what he was doing to help us. It was complicated and we took up quite a bit of his time but he didn’t hesitate to try and get us exactly what we needed. I don’t think we think him adequately enough but what fantastic customer service!

My go to grocery store now!! Used to go to Walmart for my grocery store needs but Walmarts produce and meat selection sucked!! So I checked out Fred Meyer and their meat + produce is night & day!! So I have been going here ever since + with gas prices soo high right now, you get a 10-15 cents off each gallon when using your Fred Meyer's rewards card!! So that's a nice perk.

This is where I do my shopping.Fred Meyer is one of those stores where they just decided to sell everything. If there's any downside to this approach it's that the place can get a bit unwieldy. I shop here multiple times a week and I still end up meandering a bit as I look for specific items. That said, the sheer variety of items and the convenience of the one-stop shop is very appealing.They do a nice job of drawing a clear divide between their groceries, clothing, home, and garden. Each area's got its own vibe and overall, the store is very clean and organized. Decent selection for most products and the layout is relatively intuitive.The prices in Freddie's range from great deals all the way up to the precise opposite. The home department seems to exemplify the steeper side, whereas groceries tend to be pretty reasonable. Electronics are a mixed bag (watch the sales, though), and garden is sort of all over the road on pricing (again, sales are my friend). Taking a quick moment on the way in to glance over their latest sales in the flyers up front can sometimes pay off with a nice coupon or draw your attention to a good deal. The clearance sections are where you can really score if you've got a few minutes to treasure hunt since they normally tack on a 30-70% cut in price from the lowest displayed sticker. Overall, there are stores out there with better prices but probably more with worse.The staff here seems to be pretty great overall. Aside from the occasional odd moment where you're hunting for help (it's a big store), the assistance you get is normally great. Most employees will go out of their way to personally walk you over to the section you're looking for and are very friendly. I'm always impressed by this, particularly with those folks who are stocking shelves but drop everything to put in the extra effort to get you what you need.Produce and natural foods sections are actually worth mentioning. There's a great variety of organics, many sourced from the northwest. The natural foods aisle and bulk section are great. All things considered, the prices in these areas are very competitive. Oh and by the way, the floral section up front is legit.If you do shop here, sign up for the loyalty program. They actually mail you in-store credit based on your quarterly purchases and allow you to accumulate fuel points. I normally scoff at this kind of thing but no joke, it has actually saved us money.Overall, Fred Meyer has other equivalent stores in the area beat.
