The skinny kid with the glasses that makes burritos in the morning makes them half the size That everyone else makes them. He's the only one that does this. If I was the owner of this establishment, there would definitely be a discussion of consistency. Don't mess with people's food especially in the morning. Nobody wants to pay seven dollars for half of a burrito.Thanks.

Been shopping here for a couple years. Have noticed a trend. The checkout people are very very rude and honestly the worst I’ve ever seen. The last two times we had two different girls not even look at us, say hello, or even thank you. We bagged our own overpriced groceries because she obviously wasn’t going to do it. I will never return. If you are that miserable with your life and or job maybe do something about it instead of treating the people that keep you in business like this.

Never disappoints. I only get a few things here because I haven't gotten a membership yet. Probably the best produce that you can get locally!! It's absolutely amazing!

Great place to come for lunch or whenever and get some custom-made sandwiches and burritos. Of course it's also a grocery store with a great craft beer selection and by the bottle/can sales. There's also the wine shop across the parking lot called Uncorked...

Been a member since 1987. Initially they were eclectic and amazing. When Whole Foods came to town they dropped the things that made them unique and tried to out Whole Foods, Whole Foods. I never understood why. To bad. We still shop there a little, but I am rarely surprised by the variety or customer service.

No water fountain, they don't offer a bag discount for bringing a reusable bag, no samples. I don't like the layout it reminds me too much of Trader Joe's. The lighting inside is dark and uninviting.

Interesting Deli experience on a Saturday during dinner hours. Very little fresh selection, old pizza sitting out and nothing that caters to kiddos! We were forced to buy an $11 cheese and bread only sandwich for my daughter to eat because the cheese pizza slices were not available. I was also surprised at their lack of vegetarian sushi in the refrigerated grab section. I got their spicy tofu which was way to salty for my liking. My friend got a sandwich which unfortunately had a long hair in it that matched the woman who heated it up for him. Oh well! Now I know it’s overpriced here, they don’t seem to have options during meal hours and they do not have offerings for kids! Not the place for me.

I can't do it anymore!Long time customer, I spend $500+ per week for maybe 15 years! The staff is rude (and odd), I've overlooked the shortcomings for so long, but can't do it anymore. My new goto for food:- Buy meat and eggs direct from Mcintyre Farms- Herbs in bulk from starwest botanicals website- Organic produce from Costco.Yesterday I bought a watermelon from co-opt for $14. Today I got two organic ones from Costco for $6.

Absolutely love this co-op! My family grocery shops here every week. They have great prices on quality items, I love the HUGE selection of local products. The organic feel of this place is great. Lots of live, happy plants hanging around everywhere and it always smells amazing upon walking through the door.Everyone is always wearing a smile and the staff is rad.

A pretty standard community co op. More expensive prices, but sometimes fruit/veg selection is really nice, and some specialty products. If seeking Asian/Mexican/Indian specialty ingredients I would recommend to seek out the specific markets available in town for each category.Sadly the tea bulk section feels uncared for, clear containers with airflow is going to degrade the tea quickly and it seems like the tea dosent sell quickly if at all. A great example is a yellowed matcha powder that I will post as a picture. To the Co-op I would recommend rethinking how you do loose leaf tea, or I would just get rid of bulk storage and stick with individual products.Overall happy to have this place in my neighborhood!

I like to shop at the north end store occasionally when I am in the area, fun store, and i like to support local businesses. A lot of the employees are friendly, but one thing that I have noticed is that some cashiers seem to get annoyed when you tell them that you are not a member. This incident really upset me, because I am a friendly person and maybe I expect the same treatment in return. I went in there early Sunday morning, specifically to buy local honey. The young cashier's attitude was very cold once I told her I was a non-member. When I was done checking out, she actually said, very sternly while looking me straight in the eyes, "I am finished and you can leave now." Exact words! I wasn't lingering, no one in line behind me waiting, absolutely no reason for her to say that. It really felt confrontational! I was speechless, shocked by how rude she was, and i just left.So now I believe this might be a unspoken attitude within the store towards nonmembers. I will not back.

This place was an oasis for us while traveling cross country. All 3 of us (all with different dietary needs) were able to eat an awesome lunch with no fear of becoming contaminated. My son ordered pizza, I had a burrito bowl and my daughter had the soup and salad bar. All were ample portions and tasted great. We then we're able to shop for healthy clean snacks and meals to continue our trip. Great experience!

This place is a yuppie deli for the affluent, and for food faddists like vegans. They have mostly lost touch with the original co-op values of making food more affordable for the people, and using re-useable containers rather than generating even more waste with packaging! One example of their ethical failing is their oxymoronic labeling of foods as "organic" even though they are packaged in plastic!

There was a brief, weeks-long catastrophe at local hospitals Aug/Sept 2021 due to Covid wave. Nurses were working long hours enduring the worst conditions. I took it upon myself to purchase gift packs nightly to deliver the St Luke’s nurses. Not a huge issue here but I was spending $200 a night dropping off care packages at the St Luke’s downtown. Wrote a letter to the Co-Op manager here, as this is the store I shop at, and then personally went to see them. Boise Co-Op stepped up with a meaningful small consistent donation that went straight to the frontline workers. I never got a sense that it was a burden. They seemed to care about what was happening in the community. Great management here. I also notice a lot of the workers are the same year after year. Thank you. Please keep the smoothie bar open later though, as I see it closes now at around 3:00.

It's pretty good. The deli has fallen off a cliff since Covid. Used to be twice a month feed my family some burritos and tasty food. Obviously staffing and Covid chaos bear some blame, but it's been nearly three years and it's still terrible. Used to be great! Specifically talking about hot deli items you order. That and they truncated their hours to close at 7pm (deli) due to staffing. Went in tonight and they had closed unexpectedly at 6pm. Deli gets 1 star. Pre-Covid it's 5 stars. Coop itself is solid.

A Boise institution that you need to experience. So many interesting items that you can't find anywhere else. The bakery and deli are simply amazing and the produce section is one of the best I have ever seen. The staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you may have. The prices are very reasonable, considering the quality of the items. Very highly recommended.

Sooooooo the Co-op just helped me get my cat down from a tree. That just happened. Talk about community and being a good neighbor.Without a doubt the freshest and best veggies you will find in Boise. Also try their burritos! Thank you Co-op!

As always, they had a wonderful selection of groceries, sundries, and hot food items. The chicken Verde burritos were slightly spicy for me, but still delicious! Safety protocols are followed, and the staff members are super helpful and competent

Such a fantastic little gem tucked into the north end of Boise. Lots of hard to find fantastic foods. They have a really nice lunch/dinner bar with salads and some other fixings. The staff are please to and helpful. The parking lot is always full and difficult to navigate due to tight quarters be prepared to wait a while.

Can't say enough about how much we love the Boise Co-op. Great selection of local foods and beverages. The prepared foods are fabulous and they often have live music, wine tasting and other events. Plus, it's in the heart of the North end!

Great Coop with some of the cheapest beer prices I've seen anywhere on the planet. Seriously. They have a 64 ounce growler fill for $14. $14!!!Great selection of local produce, prepared foods and an awesome wine shop across the parking lot that they also run. Great service and good atmosphere.

Fantastic local coop full of treats you won't find anywhere else in Boise. Raw cow milk, Stumptown coffee and local baked goods are just some of the items available. Bring your own bag and fill your table with natural delights.
