The store is clean and generally well stocked. Most of the personnel are congenial and courteous. The fruit and vegetable department is okay. The deli is average. The meat department, on the other hand, is woefully deficient in selection. If you're looking for a fully stocked meat counter or meat packaged refrigerator section, go to the Parkcenter store or Fred Meyers.

Not sure who does the ordering at this place but the shelves look depressing. Everything is out of stock or past date. The workers are overall pretty nice so they are the reason for the 2 earned stars. This place needs an overhaul otherwise.

Wife bought a bunch of groceries while I was at work with the online pick up. Order came out within a short time. Perishables were all within good expiration dates. Enjoyed the time saved not needing to walk through all the aisles.

If you want a wide selection of ingredients, food, and other items from numerous cultures this is one of the best Albertsons in Boise to go to. The cost at this store will be higher than, say a Winco, that's likely due to the wide selection of specialty items. It has a good layout, typical of an American grocery store. The outer ring is fresh food, some prepared, bakery, a large meet and cheese area, meat department, dairy, etc. The inner isles consist of packaged goods however the selection is huge compared to say a Kroger or other type of grocery store (including standard layout Albertsons). This specific store has a huge selection of wine and beer. You have to go to a state liquor store to get hard alcohol. The meat department offers aged meats including wagyu beef. There is a nice selection of fish as well. The bakery is to die for. One of the best things to eat is a frosted croissant and they have them freshly made every day. Parking is plentiful but you may need to walk a bit.I really enjoy coming to this store, it's kind of a fun place to shop at, but it is also a bit expensive. I primarily use it for special occasions, and I highly recommend it for that type of shopping.

The store is always very clean.One thing I’ve noticed, and I’m not sure on the protocols with storage, but I noticed cases of water at the back of the store. With this heat, if temps lingering in the bottles reach 150, BPA can be released.Should these not be stored indoors?

What an awesome home town store. I lived near Joe Albertson growing up and remember the huge candy bars on Halloween. I was short a couple bucks and the checker found a couple of coupons so that I would make it. God bless Boise Idaho.

For the price I paid for this little cake that was claimed to be gourmet. I was expecting more. Barley a sliver of filling. I was told it was a cream cheese icing, and it wasn't. I'm very disappointed.

We had a group of girls that needed some food. The McDonald's that shared the parking lot closed up as we were walking to the door. Albertsons opened a check out lane just for us. Very cool!

Bought a leg of lamb and it said it was packaged on May 5, and the good by date was June 16. There were others in the same bin with the same package date and expiration date, so I figured, well they can't all be bad. This was on 6/10. Well, I went to cook it on 6/11, and I opened it up and it smelled putrid. I thought well, maybe it just smells bad, but once I cook it it will be alright. No, it was more nasty after being cooked. I don't know what their policy is for shelf life of meat, but they need to change it. Hopefully somebody else doesn't make the same mistake I did. 30$+ dollars, plus my time and spices spent on a rancid piece of meat. Should of known better.

So much more enjoyable to shop here than the "bigger value" retailer... Good selection of quality products and much more attractive merchandising. I may pay a small premium for the convenience, service and atmosphere, but completely worth it in my opinion...

Always low stock or items are unavailable. Please consider closing if you can't run this business, as we're spending our time and energy stopping by here every day. Trust me, closing would be a favor to us.

The business itself seems to be pretty decent, and the employees were awesome. It just wasn't really up to par like other places. They don't have cold kids' beverages. All of the products you'd get from them like shampoo, deodorant, hand sanitizer etc is sold in really small quantities and are well overpriced for them thats just a personal problem cause you aren't even getting a good product for the price your paying.

LOTS of candy on clearance. They win my vote today. Second time here...but I DO know Albertons has the best fried chicken (if ur not frying ur own) if I were gonna pass store bought fried chicken off as my own...I'd only use Albertsons)

The food quality is good, but the prices are high, thus this is not my main grocery store when I'm home. They offer some very good freebies on Saturday through their app trying to get people in the store. I usually can't get to the store on Saturday, so I go Sunday or Monday. Over half the time they are out of the advertised product. This week it was an item on our shopping list, so I tried two stores. No luck. Very frustrating.The checkout clerks are friendly, but finding a manager who can make a decision if there is a problem is difficult at best.

While this isn't the Albertsons I frequent, I stop here as a convenience when leaving work. This store is a very nice store with a typical Albertsons merchandise mix and good customer service. The store is clean and fresh and has great specialty departments like the deli, bakery, meat and seafood. The store is spacious which I actually find as a draw back as it is a long way around the store. Regardless it is a great store.

Great selection on everything but when it comes to the checkout, a better customer service would be much appreciated. Third time going here since we moved couple months ago to this area and every time I get some ugly attitude girl. Especially those younger girls working the check stand, seems like they're annoyed and want you out of their face. I'm there to get the things that I need, not to come and see your face. I'm gonna start saying something next time this happens because it's getting a bit ridiculous.
