My favorite poke on the big island so far. We liked it so much we had to come back again the next day!Food:Spicy ahi: 5/5 - We loved this. It’s the perfect amount of food and every part was delicious. Generous amount of poke and the right ratio of rice and fish. The cucumber salad was nicely salty 😋 and I liked the addition of dragonfruit. The miso soup that’s included is a nice touch too!Garlic shoyu ahi: 4.5/5 - We also really liked this, we just slightly preferred the spicy ahi.Service:5/5! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The lovely lady preparing the poke even gave us a sample of another poke since we couldn’t decide.

Amazing local food! If you’re looking to get a real taste of the Big Island this is the place to go. They have many options. I tried the Hawaiian plate which included pork, loa loa, and salmon. It was great and more than enough to fill you up. My fiancé had the BBQ plate and it was so flavorful and tender it came with chicken, beef, and a short rib plus sides. Coming from a long time Texas resident it exceeded my high standards with flying colors!!!

We stopped in and ordered the Poke Bowl, Loco Moco, Katsu chicken, and the BLT. All were very, very good!!!! The Poke bowl was the best, excellent!!! The BLT was just a straight up BLT, but on sweet yellow bread, and so spot on!! The other dishes were great as well. Small, unassuming place, but the food was excellent!!

I only tried the loco moco here. First time trying this dish as well.Wow it was gigantic! Given the prices on this island I didn't expect it to be so big. The gravy was the star of the show. And they put so much that every bit of rice would have enough gravy. The hamburger steaks were okay. A bit on the salty side. I prefer the japanese hamburg more which has more panko and onion so the patty is soft and juicy. Their mac salad here is pretty good and this is only the third time I've had it here.

The food is prepared with Aloha and is most delicious. Teas are light and gentle to my tummy as I have healing ulcers. There's so much to see on the walls, and most of it is for sale. They are some very beautiful souvenirs/gifts/home decor. The seating style and atmosphere are warm, and i feel like I belong here. I live about 7 minutes away and am so blessed and excited to keep going back.

I treat myself to lunch here 3 times a week due to the great food, friendly staff, and good portions.Loco moco satisfies every time! I love the house made Mac salad, even more so with gravy from the rest of the meal.Good price on food, fun atmosphere, and a mini bookstore to look over while food is being prepared.This place is good for a quick bite from the combo plates if you are in any hurry.It sits conveniently next to a gas station, making it an easy choice to fuel up vehicle and body in one stop.I will continue to dine here often because it gives me energy and the joy of good food.If you like Loco moco like I do, order a side cup of gravy to keep that rice covered till the last bite.The pork here is very good as well as the spam masubi. There are enough options on the menu to try new things for a good while. I still have a few things to discover, and look forward to doing so😋

Plates are piping hot, and Onolicious!! Man, and I must say, it's always loaded! One plate can probably feed my whole family...no joke. Every plate I've tasted so far, is too notch. If you got the munchies, or just plain starving, this is the place to go. AAA+++

Local dining option with broad choice, for very good prices. Portions are generous and taste good.I tried for the first time some supposed “typical hawaiian food”, the Hawaiian Plate”, which has Lau Lau, Kalua Pig, and Lomi Salmon; plus an extra side of Spam Musubi.Some of it is probably an acquired taste, but you can’t blame them if you don’t like it - that’s how it’s supposed to taste.

Bestie and I were visiting Volcanos area and the folks here were so nice and helpful! Between the 2 of us, we have several food allergies and the staff was super knowledgeable about how we could still get amazing poke bowls from them!!Dietary restrictions: Our group had gluten and soy allergies and they were able to easily accomodate that with their poke bowls.

This has become my favorite place to run over to whenever I'm looking for quick, good food at a decent price. The kalua pork is my most regular order, but I try to change it up a bit on occasion. Tried the lemon pepper salmon today for the first time. Definitely not the best salmon I've had. It was a bit too peppery for me, but not bad. I'd probably give that particular meal 3 stars, but giving 5 stars to the restaurant for several other reasons.The staff really has been great every time I've been there. There are 2 tables available for limited dining in, but most get food to go. Even when dining there, it is packaged in take out containers, which is good since they give a fairly large amount of food. You can call ahead and pick up your food in about 10-15 minutes.They have a pretty basic breakfast menu, burgers, and a good variety of plate lunches that come with rice and either mac salad or tossed. You can also sub fries or fried rice instead for $1 extra. If you are in the area, it's absolutely worth giving them a try. Grab a paper menu to take with you so you can call in ahead the next time!

Returning Customer! Rarely ever let down here! Food breaks da mouth almost every time! The food has at times been overcooked and burned, but otherwise still good; and the staff is always welcoming every time. It’s one of my go-to places!I’m a mac salad guy and I usually know if a place is good or not just on how they make their mac salad! If a place is willing to make bomb Mac salad then they probably put just as much effort into the other food…

Nice stop after volcano national park for a quick bite! The location is great considering it is right next to a gas station, the prices are awesome, good personable service, it has a really cute book stand, and the eats/vibes are good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is bc of the dirty bathroom.

We ordered Nacho, Sushi, BBQ mix and chicken katsu for an ocean view picnic. Tasty BBQ and juicy chicken never let me down but Nacho surprisingly cheered us up. They also have online order services which means you can simply place orders on GOOGLE MAP and pick up in about 20 mins. The restaurant is a recommended stop on the way Volcano Park. Definitely worth five stars.

Food I ordered, Avocado Poke Bomb, was amazing, fresh and delicious.Service and atmosphere was saddly lacking.Counter service was done by a young female that appeared to be pregnant. It felt like I was interrupting her with the attitude she gave off.She appeared very unprofessional in appearance and attitude towards customers.I was going to add to my order from the hotline when I noticed strands of long hair around the counter space where the food was being served from.I noticed her messy hair not even contained or put up, so I decided against the hot line.When I got to the counter, she just looked at me, no welcome, no may I help you.Just a loud sigh as if I was interrupting whatever she was doing on her phone.She had to be told my order even though it was sitting on the counter in front of her.Sad to say, I did not feel like I as a customer was welcomed or even appreciated.If it wasn't for the delicious Poke, I doubt I would return.

You order at the counter. They let you know when your order is ready. They have 2 tables out for use. My bacon was a step above raw, eggs were good. The double glass doors were filthy, everything else seemed fairly clean. There are no restrooms, not even in the 7 eleven gas station that is located in the same lot. We were told that there is an outhouse next to the gas station to use. Couldn't do it! No toilet paper, urine all over the floor, I have no problem using outhouses but this was too nasty. Unfortunately, I would not go back, the owners seemed nice.
