We've been stopping by Tiedyehobo's shop since 2015, during our first visit to the Big Island. His work is the best tie dye out there - he's a true Artist. He offers the most unique designs, and his art doesn't fade- no matter how many times it's washed.

This is SUCH a cool spot! All the tie dye your heart could possibly desire (tapestries, sweatshirts, headbands, sarongs, pants, dresses, crop tops, stickers, honestly anything you could think of!) and at great prices too. There were designs I’ve never even seen before; truly works of art! The owner is incredibly talented and such a nice guy. Be sure to check out the “trip room” upstairs! We can’t wait to come back on our next trip.

I had the pleasure of visiting John's store today 12/29/2018. The store was very tidy and clean. The merchandise was very neatly displayed and fairly priced. The quality of John's work is visible, you can tell he puts his heart and soul into his work. I would definitely go back and recommend his shop to anyone. I have a small obsession with John’s work. He has a great selection, but if you want something specific he will do it on the spot in a matter of 10 minutes! He has added a lot of new products, including bed sheets, and always adds a freebie too. His prices are so reasonable and the quality is excellent.

Such a fun and groovy place! I absolutely loved this piece of tie dye heaven.There are so many different items of clothing to pick from, including super unique tapestries. I could shop there over and over again. The owner is super friendly and down to earth, and makes sure everyone is having a great shopping experience. I would recommend this place over and over again!

One of my favourite spots to stop and shop on the island. I've seen this store move locations and it's always a spot I bring new visitors to the island. I've always had lovely service from the kind owner and I find a new gem to add to my tie dye collection.

Tiedyehobo is a magical place to visit. It is a must stop while exploring the Big Island. The owner John is extremely nice and helpful. He gives you plenty of space while you're shopping through his great selection of tie dyed work. He is readily available to answer questions, dye your cotton clothes, and show off his workshop. John offers tie dye classes and does custom work also. I am on a budget so always scope out the $5 dollar room where I have found some rocking tie dyed clothes in my price range. I bought tiedye sheets here for my bed and just love the way they look... makes me smile. Thankful to have a place like this to shop near Kona. Appreciate all the free oranges too! I look forward to visiting again.

Very cool little shop. The $5 (or 3 for $10) room was just perfect for my teenager. Most of the adults also bought a sweatshirt, t-shirt or tank top. The prices were reasonable ($35 for an XXL tie-dyed hoodie sweatshirt). The ambiance is exactly as expected. Clean. Smelled slightly of reefer. Organized. People jamming in the back on guitars.

Took a tie dye lesson here .. worth every penny .. bought some yoga pants .. and left with some of my own work. It’s a shame google allows fake reviews from customers that never met this guy or purchased anything ... if you are in the area stop by and pick up some really awesome tie dye. Ignore the 1 star reviews they are not real.

Tie Dye, a feast for your senses! John has dyed towels, clothing and even underwear for my son in law!!! I love going to Target, Walmart and Costco for 100% cotton items. He is a artistic individual and creates beautiful work! ✌🏼👍 He has great dresses, shirts and tops. I have a three year old niece that gets compliments on her clothes!!!!Tie Dye Hobo rocks❤
