Love the layout and how easy it is to find things at this store. All of the people that work here have been super helpful in getting us the exact products we are looking for and even when it's not available here at their store they are full of tips and recommendations.It's worth mentioning that we gave two kitties here their forever homes. The process was really easy and we were able and continue to buy all of the supplies we need in this store. It's worth noting that even if you buy food for your four legged companions here and they end up not liking it--there's a return policy you can talk to a worker about.

I normally don’t write reviews but this is the third time I have had a bad experience with their groomers. Not three times in a row but today was the worst experience out of all of them.The first bad experience was picking my husky up after a grooming session. I realized when looking at his paws the groomers cut them too short and had cut into his veins. My husky already has issues with me touching his paws but after that experience he will no longer let me touch his paws without whining.The second bad experience was when I brought my husky to do bath and brush with furminator. Avoiding the nail trim. I was told his appointment should only take up to 4hours and they would informed me they would call as soon as he is done. His appointment was 12:30. The drop off was fine but my complaint is regarding how long he actually took. I waited at home and not only was he not ready until 6:30. I had to call them to ask if he was done. When I called the person and asked, the employee answered “oh yea, sorry he is all ready for pick up.” When I picked him up my husky was dehydrated and stressed.My third complaint is for today. I booked a grooming appointment for my Pomeranian very last minute for Tuesday at 2:30. Tuesday comes around and I receive a call at 12. The groomer now informs me the person who is suppose to groom has called off and I won’t be seen. She asked if I could come in today (Thursday). I am currently moving off island tmr so I was already on a tight schedule but I say “okay, Thursday works. Is same time okay? 2:30?” She says sure. Today comes by and I am running late. I call around 2:17 saying I will late. I am then told by the groomer my appointment is actually 2pm. I ask is there anyway I can come in due to the fact I was rescheduled for someone calling out. She says come in. I arrive there by 2:40 and I ring for check in. Not only was I not seen until 2:55. She had headphones in so she couldn’t hear me ring the doorbell and she had the audacity to tell me she was waiting for me at the desk at 2:50. Not only that, I was told I could not be seen today.So sorry for the long review but this is the worst experience here I have ever had. Normally I ask for Dakota when she works but everytime she is not there the worst things happen. I do not recommend this grooming place at all unless you ask specifically for Dakota or the nice tall gentleman. Everyone else here is inexperienced and has the worst customer care.

Got my small 10 lb. dog groomed here and I was surprised at how well the groomer did. I was skeptical since the reviews aren’t great but given the price and the job they did, I’m really happy with it! I will definitely be requesting Sam again since he was so nice and helpful!

The grooming dept did a fabulous job on my very floofy dog. He is 10 and has hip dysplasia. Lucas did a great job getting him clean,, making sure he was totally dry, grinding nails, and trimming paw fur. I can’t thank them enough for be so careful and kind to my furbaby!!

We took our Husky in for a grooming. He needed it badly as we had just moved here. Ciera exceeded our expectations! We have used petsmart groomers many times in many different cities. This one was by FAR the best. It was also a first for receiving a log of everything that was done. Ciera, we really appreciate you going the extra mile and taking care of our old boy. He was so happy when we picked him up and he looked GREAT. We will surely be back in the future. #petsmartgrooming

If it's your first time and you don't understand the payment process for the groomer, they treat you like dirt. So a tip If you have never been, when you take your dog to the groomer section and drop them off, even though they have a cash register right on the desk, you are supposed go stand in the regular line, outside the groomer area to pay.... no big deal, I just didn't know or understand why. This is perhaps why they banned me? I never raised my voice and was honestly confused.

This location has the worst groomers. The manager would charge you extra for an area with longer dog furs. Our dog was traumatized after the grooming; she had scissor injuries between the eyes, paws, and butt along with ears infections. I had to take my dog to veterinarian for an health check after a few days. No wonder they have so many openings available even during holidays. I should’ve known better.

Nice and clean store. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to browse and shop. I was able to find and all my needs as well as come out with some extra items for my pets. Employees were fast and friendly. Great service and experience.

My toy poodle (under 4 pounds) was categorized as a regular poodle and I was charged $125.00 for a complete buzz cut and her head & facial hair was crooked! Terrible! All dog accessories and clothes were overpriced! Clean store but be prepared to spend some money!!!! Chi conditioner and shampoo line available for dogs which isn't at other pet stores so that was great!

The staff is very friendly and took great care of our baby Bella. She was just as happy as she could be when we came to pick her up. They did a great job. I accidentally left her immunization record on their counter and the girls called and let me know they set it aside for me to come back and get it. Many places would have just tossed it.

The groomers are awesome. This review is for the manager that charged us extra because the dog has long hair. We've had 20 baths in the dog's life and not once has any other PetSmart or Petco charged extra for our Siberian husky to be a malamute because their manager either doesn't understand or doesn't know huskies can have long hair. We will definitely not come back to this PetSmart.

When I'm in Kapolei, I will stop here to get cat food. Mililani is always out of the cat food that I get. However, Kapolei is well stocked which I'm really happy about even if I have to travel to the west side. Also, the employees are really friendly especially the cashier's!

At Pet smart the groomers really are down to earth and takes time to know your pet. My puppy has anxiety . The groomer just made him feel really comfortable. He did awesome. Thank You Pet smart Capri!!!! I just got my puppies nail done. I was very happy.

They didn't have the product that I was looking for, even though online it showed they had "a few left".But they did have some other stuff I was looking for.Their prices are always high and overpriced, but what can you do when you have to sell in Hawaii. The cost of items is always a 5 star deal breaker for me.The cashier was really nice which gave it the stars it got, as well as the store being clean.

Our 1st visit to PetSmart was great. We were greeted by Mitsuo as we walked in and Mitsuo asked us if we needed help. He was very courteous, kind and helpful and his Co workers were helpful too. The store was nice and clean and nicely stocked. Looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I walk to the Kapolei mall and back several times a week for exercise and this place is our midway point on the walk.The staff is so friendly and courteous and they're always kind enough to allow us to use the restroom if I need to, which makes the walk home a LOT easier.Thank you PetSmart!

I was sadly misinformed about this store...I thought it was someplace that I could take my dog to get his Bachelor Petdegree.I have a very smart dog. You see, I trained my dog, Bow to say the word "red". You just have to listen to him closely and you'll hear it. I was hoping they'd be able to teach 'ole Bow to speak like a human. Wouldn't that be something!Sadly, I was informed that the pedigree comes from the dog's parents.So, to turn an awful experience into something good, the people at the store are very courteous and helpful.And they have cool fish too!

This PetSmart is very clean, super spacious, and all of the employees I encountered were so nice and friendly. Even though it takes me out of my way most times, I do not mind coming out to this location because everything about it is, overall, EXCELLENT!!!!!

As a beginner who went in to check out some fish and aquariums, I had tons of questions, and multiple staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! Very clean, spacious store with good selection, and the cats, fish, and other animals looked very well cared for.

I just discontinued my 6 week puppy training course with Jill Sander. During the first session, Jill slapped me on the shoulder when I didn’t say the right command to my dog. I contacted her to let her know that I was very uncomfortable with that and asked her not to touch me again. The following week she touched my shoulder again during the session. She also made several inappropriate and shaming comments about my training attempts with my dog during the sessions. For the third session today, I was forced to put my dog in a gentle leader despite telling her I didn’t want to use it. Following the class, the said she will require him to use it despite my wishes and the fact that the enrollment contract does not state that gentle leaders are required. I terminated the course and received a partial refund. The manager said that her behavior is unacceptable and that gentle leaders are not a requirement for any training course. I highly recommend that you do not take a PetSmart training course with Jill.

We shop at the Kamakana Alii location often. The employees are knowledgable and helpful. They greet you and your pets and truly are animal lovers. A few are rescuers in the local animal community.We brought 4 dogs in for pictures with santa. Santa was cool with my rottie, pit and chihuahua! Well done petsmart in excellent hiring practices.We love that petsmart is willing to pricematch any other competitors prices as well. Their inventory is amazing.They have kitten and cat adoptions on site. A great local rescue organization Poi Dogs & Popoki ... rescues, fosters, fixes/vaccinate and brings them to find their forever families at petsmart. So glad they partnered with this great local organization.
