Recommend at least a quick stop by the Kaua’i Coffee Company if you’re in the area!We stopped by to fill some time before doing a sunset boat tour, ~45min visit was perfect for us to do a quick self guided tour, grab some coffee and hit up the gift shop.The self guided tour is great. Very informative, plus the grounds are beautiful!Gift shop has some premium coffee options that are not available in grocery stores… but note that the blue bags of coffee available in the stores will likely be cheaper at a grocery stores than the gift shop.The coffee shop was OK. Not the best coffee drinks on the island, and a little pricier than expected. Getting to taste a few varieties of coffee at the sample booth was fun though!They also offer guided tours!

We loved our visit to Kauai Coffee! We took the Coffee on the Brain Tour with Genny and she was awesome! She showed us the best way to get a great-tasting cup of coffee with two different brewing techniques and then we walked around the estate where she explained the process from bean to cup. Genny made it a really informative and fun tour. She has such a passion for coffee and the island of Kauai!

We went on the farm tour and it was well worth it!! We were very lucky to go on a day they were harvesting. They only harvest once a year so this is a rare sight. Highly recommend going the first week of November to catch it! We got to see a family of pigs and it was so cute! Lisa was very well informed and gave a fantastic tour. Make sure to grab a cup of coffee before heading out on the tour as you don’t taste during the farm tour

We stopped here on our way to Waimea Canyon. Friendly staff, and nicely decorated for Christmas time.Had a free decaf coffee sample, which tasted good. They also have a coffee, tea, and ice cream area where you can purchase ready-made drinks when ordered.The gift shop had a good selection of souvenirs, locally made jewelry, coffee, aprons, t shirts, and other trinkets. The patio area outside was spacious, and they had a self guided walking tour in the back area.Restrooms are available for guests, and they had an informational video playing in the open lobby area, which gave some great facts about coffee growing and harvesting.Really enjoyed our visit when we passed through.Parking: Open dirt area in front of this location. Easy to walk up to building from parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: A few handicap spots near front area of parking lot, and a ramp to get up to the patio, and main area of the building where the gift shop and free coffee samples are.

If you love coffee or if you're just looking to do something for free, this is a great place to visit. They do have a tour that costs to do it, but if it's raining, they cancel it. Missed out on that. You can do a walking tour for free and learn quite a bit. We did see the baby feral pigs but not the mom. Coffee tasting was good. Gift shops have all of the kauai coffee products they make. Lemon bars were excellent.

I received a bag of this fantastic coffee. I'm trying not to write a biased review because I'm a huge Hawaii fan ☺️ (I hope to live there one day). I've tried brewing it in a Mokka-pot and also in a FrenchPress. In terms of grind, it feels better in the FrenchPress. But both times, I got a sourish taste (already -almost reminiscent of specialty coffees). The smell is also very pleasant, if I close my eyes I can smell the ocean and the warming sun rays 🌞I hope to visit this place in person one day and taste the other coffees.I highly recommend it for gourmet coffee lovers! ALOHA 🌺🤙

I miss being able to pour my own samples. I have been visiting Kauai coffee for decades. This time, I received a small sample that was less than a sip. I wanted to try more, but the server was gone. I paid for a coffee, which was fine, but not the experience of the past. I will be back, but hopefully, it goes back to the serve yourself model.

You can visit this place for free as a guest or book a tour in advance. They were fully booked when we were on the island so we went to check the place out by ourselves. The staff were super informative about the coffee and its flavors. They offer free samples and also have a small cafe inside where you can buy specialty drinks and pastries. They had all kinds of neat gadgets that they showed in which they used for harvesting coffee. Super fun experienceParking: Lots of spotsKid-friendliness: Kids allowed

I can't say enough good things about this place. It was the first stop on our Shaka Guides self tour, and we were pleasantly surprised. The coffee samples they serve are great, the prices in their cafe are excellent, bathrooms are clean, and watching the process was neat. We did the outdoor tour and enjoyed ourselves. You could do the self tour on 10 to 30 minutes depending upon how much you want to read. I've never really liked coffee, but I loved their pea berry estate so much that I bought a 24 ounce bag and have been enjoying it back at home! Don't skip this. Go and check it out.

A coffee lovers dream ☕️☕️☕️Only stopped in to get a snack but WOW!Great smoothies and blended Coffee 😋And they can make it with alternative milk. They had some pastries and cookies too. There was a coffee tasting group available but we didn’t have time to join in.

Self-guided tour. It's pretty quick and yet informative. I liked walking through the plantation as the skies cleared up and a beautiful day embarked on us.The little museum next to the coffee service was a great photo op.We sampled on different coffees and had an ice cream with our tastings.The gift shop is pretty cool, but some items are a bit overpriced.For the most part, the staff was helpful, kind, and engaging, with one exception.It's a quick stop on your way to/ from Lihue to Poipu, and I'm glad we stopped and bought the dark chocolate peaberries.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly location.

If you are in the area or heading through to visit Waimea Canyon, definitely hit Kauai Coffee on the way. The visitor center offers free samples of all their coffee flavors, and they have a full coffee bar with every kind of coffee drink you need to get your caffeine fix. Plus, they have ice cream and other snacks for any kids in your party.The gift shop has tons of options for the coffee lover in your life.Definitely stop in and plan to stay an hour if you do the self guided tour and get coffee. We just got iced coffees, a few samples, and hit the gift shop and were in and out in under 30 minutes.

Free brewed coffee tastings (unlimited) so only specialty coffee, numerous hot and copld espresso options sold. Little museum, gift shop with plenty of souvenirs. Coffee prices are a little extra.e.g. $10/12 Kcup box. Two miles from Hwy 50.

If you're a coffee lover, you must visit Kauai Coffee Company. The self guided tour is brief but enjoyable and gives a better sense of the process of soil to beans to cup. It's an easy walk on a paved path. The gift shop has coffee, souvenirs, shirts, mugs - and you can try a sample of different coffees. A little cafe offers full sized drinks and refreshments. This is a must see for coffee lovers!

We did their farm tour and had a blast! It was a ton of fun and very informative. Our tour guide, Lisa, was incredible. They let us pick some coffee from the trees and try out the raw beans. Afterwards they took us through the fields and showed us where all the steps of the coffee production process occur. Afterwards you can sample different coffees in the gift shop. They also have a little cafe which serves coffee and baked goods. Well worth the stop in Kauai, especially if you can do the farm tour!

Great coffee! I normally prefer a medium roast with soft finish. My favorite here was the Big Bruddah coffee.They do tours once per day in the morning. They drive you around the property for about an hour in a covered wagon van type thing and tell you about the coffee company.You don't have to do the tour to get coffee samples - you can just walk right in and start tasting to see what you like! Try them all and buy a bag to take home with you as a souvenir or to sip while you relax on the beach!They sell iced drinks, coffee, iced coffee drinks and even ice cream and smoothies. So you definitely won't leave thirsty here 😁
