An unexpected find, cute goats, large turkey, frolicsome ducks and goat poop earrings, what is there not to love? Adorable tiny gift shop with delicious goat cheese (don’t forget the goat cheese caramels)!I paid a few bucks to feed the goats, and I loved the experience. I love supporting the farmers and see how they have used the funds to make the goat’s life wonderful and the visit engaging. I would recommend this stop on the way to the falls.

Decided to stop here on our way back from Akaka falls for the goat therapy. We were a little nervous because nobody else seemed to stop but once we did it was such a great experience. The owner was super lovely and very apologetic due to the fact that we could not have the full "goat therapy experience" due to the rain that happened the last couple days. But she did offer us a free box of food to feed the baby goats and that was well worth it. The goats are so cute and playful! She also invited us into her little shop to try her goat cheese and caramels that she makes, highly recommend trying them out. They are delicious!

This is the cutest!Of course, if you have kid(s), this would be a fun random place to visit. The cutest baby goats and sheep. You also get to feed them, which is part of the fun. There's a small shop as well. This is on the way to Akaka Falls, so it could be an activity you catch on the way back down from the falls if you're looking to do both.

We stopped by yesterday, and checked out the baby goats in the "therapy pen." I bought some of the goat milk sea salt caramels. Oh, my!!! I should have gotten more than the 12 pack. They are so creamy--- the caramels don't try to pull your teeth out as you chew! They just dissolve away. So good!

Definitely worth a quick stop. You are greeted by cute little goats near the parking area and they have the MOST delicious caramels we had EVER tasted! The goat cheese is delicious too.

This place is absolutely precious! The baby goats are so sweet and fun to play with. The gift shop has amazing coconut sea salt goat milk candies. You can tell the goats are really loved and cared for. And they have the best view in town! lol.

The first time I came here in early 2022 they had a recent burst of baby goats and feeding them was one of the best and funniest experiences I had in a long time--I laughed so hard, the goats were climbing all over me for food, hilarious and cute beyond description. Brought a group here recently and it was a hit with everyone: goat therapy is a must!! (Iniatially, folks weren't so enthusiastic about visiting a goat farm ("uh, okay") but that quickly changed--our visit was a highlight of the day). After sanitizing your hands (they provide the sanitizer), feed the goats with a small (2"x2") box of food for $1, but you'd probably want to do that more than once! Store has some nice goat cheeses, soaps, t-shirts, etc. for sale. Beautiful pastoral surroundings with a bit of a view of the ocean on a clear day.

An awesome, quick, and easy stop worth your time! Mary and Coco were super friendly and had my goat therapy session started the minute I arrived. The flavored cheeses and caramels are (almost) reason enough to stop by.

I LOVE this place! Just down the road from Akaka falls. I spent part of my chef career as a cheese buyer and this is an incredible farm and artisan cheese producer! Every single product we tried was off ‘da hook! We bought a lot, but we’re gonna need to go back while we’re still on the island, they’re that good!We particular liked the young lady who served us, she was so cute in her snail outfit (it was Halloween season) and she explained all the offerings beautifully! Kudos! You can get ‘goat therapy’ (playing with and feeding the goats), perfect for families! We enjoyed the shopping and also the Vietnamese family farm stand across the road (apple bananas, longon, star, fruit, dragon fruit, and more.)If you’re an artisan cheese fan or love to play with cute little goats, this is the place for you! I regret not taking more pictures! Next time!

What a great experience! The Honomu Goat Dairy was definitely one of my highlights while visiting the Big Island; a must see! The goats were friendly, fun, and playful. The best little therapists we ever met! Gladys was such a sweet presence and a delight to meet. We left with our hearts feeling very full. Don't forget to purchase the fudge, it is absolutely delicious!

So friendly people, fun spot for small groups. Goats were fun, friendly and FAST! Kids loved it, we were there probably an hour! (They even have a clean customer bathroom) yummy small foods and N/A beverages. Goat farm hot sauce was YUM! They have soap and all sorts of good fun stuff. Ps.. reasonable prices too. :)

This place was amazing!! The sign to pet baby goats caught our eyes. The owner was so sweet and genuine. The goats loved being pet and being fed. You buy food for $1 for the goats. They will lay down with you and stay by your side. It was a real treat for our group. They also had many things for sale like caramel, feta cheese, fudge, homemade soap, and everything was made with goat milk! There was also after sun salve and chapstick. We bought shirts and hoodies, the colors were so cute!

This place is so cute. The goat therapy was closed but we still got to give the baby goats some treats through the fence and they were so adorable. Saw turkeys and ducks too. The staff was very polite and let us sample lots of things. We ended up with the black truffle garlic cheese and would highly recommend!

I'm so glad the guys Hamakua chocolate told me to stop here! What a fun experience! I wish I had my cooler with me to take home some cheese. I regret not buying the caramels. Thank goodness I'm not allowed to have animals where I rent or I would have purchased a goat. Definitely worth a stop and I hope they try goat yoga again soon!

We loved the experience at the goat farm. Our kids loved feeding the goats. The staff was super friendly. The caramels are some of the best I've ever had. No reservations or appointment required. Just show up and play with the goats for free. A cup of food costs only $1

What a wonderful side stop on our way to Akaka Falls! Conveniently located on the same road, which dead ends at the falls. The children had an awesome time playing the baby goats and seeing the ducks and turkeys. The goats certainly enjoy laying around and snuggling with people. They're very calm and used to people. Now, most of all! The homade goat cheeses and homemade goats milk caramels are to die for!! The owner is on-site to tell all about how the family makes the wonderful products. Yes, samples are given! I highly recommend the smoked coffee caramels and big island spice goat cheese. It does have a very small kick! Thanks again!

The Honomu Goat Dairy farm was a great experience! Goat treats are $1 per bag and the goats were friendly and determined to get treats. During your safety briefing, pay attention, these mischievous and fun goats untied my laces and followed us dearly to be fed. They were great with my little one (2.5 YO). Plan on having a small picnic by trying their fudge and goat cheese if you have the time. This was a great stop after visiting the Akaka Falls.

Adorable goat farm with gift shop selling edibles (cheese, caramels), canned drinks, goat-milk body products, and other related gear.Farm is located on the road heading to Akaka Falls. The shop is at the bottom of a steep, one-car-width steep(ish) driveway with ~6 parking spots. Additional side-of-road spots along the road by the fence (try to not block the driveway).Petting zoo had several baby goats that were seeking pettings and snacks. You can buy a small case of snacks in the shop. Otherwise, it is free to visit.Fresh goat cheese with many flavors for sale (with crackers on the side) plus the fancy caramels (2 flavors). We opted for the sea salt ones!*Reminder, keep caramels cool or in the fridge!Hoping we will be able to visit again on our next trip!Edit, 1.5 months later: I'm still enjoying the sea salt caramels (that I keep in the fridge). So yummy!

Stopped here after visiting Akaka falls and it was so much fun! We pet the goats, took tons of pictures, saw a huge turkey. Inside we tried some caramels and goat cheese- delicious! Such a fun little place, I’m glad we stopped by.There was no fee to enter the goat area, but you could purchase little bags of goat treats to feed them (for .50-$1 can’t recall) and make donations inside the shop. 🤙

This place was one of the highlights of my trip to the big island. One baby goat sat on my lap like a little puppy and stole my heart. The staff were all exceptional, assisting me with photos, and just making me feel comfortable. Gladys stands out in particular and I enjoyed our conversation. You can taste all the delicious goat cheeses, caramels, and fudge. I am very thankful for the wonderful experience and will come back to visit on my next trip!

So therapeutic to come in and pet the baby goats for free! But you can pay $1 for treats so they warm up to you more. Definitely a nice quick stop if you are in the area!

I don't even normally enjoy caramel, and I stop by for a dozen caramels every time I'm nearby. Absolutely incredible candy. You even have opportunities to meet and feed the goats that provide the candy, and the staff is always friendly.

Honomu Goat Dairy is the place to be if you want to spend quality family time with your families and friends. The goats are beautiful, especially the dwarf that kept following everyone around wanting to be petted. Don't get me started on the sweets made from real goat milk.
