Perfect place to visit for anyone who wants a cat but can't get one! Plenty of lil balls of personality running around and sleeping! The manager is super knowledgeable and the coffee is fro. A place down the street that they'll order and bring to you if you let em know what you want! Pricing for an appointment/walk-in is super reasonable and the cats are so fun to be around! A lil bit of heaven right in Honolulu! The only downside is lack of parking but there's street parking all around! Just gotta find it! For me, it didn't take long to find parking. I just had to go roughly a block away, and walk up to there.

This Cat cafe was fun! They had a decent amount of cats inside. It is 17$ per person, for 50 minutes. Staff is super friendly. Be sure to wear or bring socks, because you have to take off your shoes before entering the cat area! I love that about this cafe, it feels cleaner to be able to sit on the floor and play with the cats. A lot of the cats were sleeping when we arrived but there was still some cats that stayed super playful during our whole stay. I never care about the price at cat cafes since it's probably how they help support the cats, etc. It's worth it to take a visit. Parking can be a bit tough, there is meter parking on the street or parking in the neighborhood next to the cat cafe. Just expect a short walk if you park in the neighborhood!

I appreciate the detail they go into finding the right homes for their cats. You can tell they really care about the cats’ well-being and future.If you live in the area and aren’t able to have a cat of your own at your place, they have a monthly subscription for unlimited visits.Check out their site for more details and rules. Make sure to bring socks! They do have cute ones for purchase as well. Also, to make check-in faster, make sure to fill out the waiver online ahead of time.

We were looking for a feline companion for our rescue kitty and had gone several times to the Humane Society, but never found the right one. We decided to try this cat cafe, and so glad we did.We made an appointment since they’re not accepting walk-ins, and it was easy enough to do it online. On the day of the appointment, we pulled right up to a spot in front of the cafe.After going through their safety protocols and quick orientation at the entrance, we entered the actual cafe, where kittens and cats were happily playing with a few people inside.We thought one kitten would make a good fit with our cat, and were told we could submit an application online while we were there.We did, and went home. A couple hours later, we got a call from a staff member who proceeded to interview us. We apparently passed because we were able to pick up our Nyx in the next half hour. Cost for adoption was $200.Highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a furry friend!

A wonderful place! The cats are very well cared for and loved, the staff is just fantastic. We adopted a lovely older cat named Jolene and she has been a wonderful addition to our ohana. She was a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up and has become very playful and affectionate with us. That speaks to how well-cared-for she was. We would have never found her if not for the people at Popoki and Tea cat cafe.. And local broadcaster KGMB for featuring them. Her adoption fee was $0 because someone had already donated to pay for her adoption, so in turn we paid the adoption fees for another cat that needs a loving home. A few of the cats there are available with no adoption fee so if you're interested and money, is a concern this is a good option.

Lovely cup of coffee and a snack while playing with the cats. All the cats are healthy and well cared for, and the cafe is clean and bright. Some of the cats were napping, and others playful. My friend and I had a great time.Make sure to bring socks or buy them there, and expect to spend a little more money on cat treats and merchandise.

Attended cat yoga and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Class was so fun with all the lovely kitties visiting our yoga mats and was also very relaxing.

Such a lovely place! Very peaceful and calm vibe. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I took my daughter here to relax with the cats for her birthday and she couldn't be happier. $15 per person for 15 minutes. Yeah it may seem expensive, but the price is definitely worth it considering the fact that they are caring for many cats who would have been homeless or worse if not for this wonderful place. I recommend booking an appointment in advance through their website as only 4 people are currently allowed at a time due to everyone working hard to prevent the spread of covid.

Cute little cat café! Very therapeutic they had about 20 kitties that you could play with. The employees are very knowledgeable of each cat and super friendly! I had a blast and we definitely would go again.

It was such a lovely time here. Played with kitties (should say they babysit me) for almost one hour. All kitties were curious and active. Some liked quiet moment, and I respected them. I will visit again to adapt one or two. Hope all kitties will find their own forever home and family.

Adorable cats! Sign the waiver. $15/person for 50 minutes, not sure why it's not a full hour but the cats are adorable. Employees are well-versed with cats and their behaviors. Depending on the time, there are certain hours when the cats are active, so if you want to play with them and not watch them sleep, research ahead of time. They have drinks available to purchase, as well as cat stickers.

I’m so glad I had the chance to visit. I wanted to make sure that I have all the information before I adopt a cat. I also wanted to see how I interact with cats in real life. It was the sweetest moment to interact with them and get all the information necessary for the commitment. If anyone’s thinking about adopting a cat but aren’t sure, they should definitely visit Popoki.

My partner and I went to this cafe, and it was awesome. The staff are very friendly, and the kitties are well taken care of. I’m so happy they are rescue cats that are all adoptable! They sell Churu sticks at the front that you can feed the cats, and this is definitely the way to most of their hearts. ❤️

My daughters and I recently visited Popoki + Tea while on a trip to Oahu. It was the only thing they requested to do. We had never been to a cat cafe and were very excited to check it out. It was so nice and our 30 minute session FLEW by. We ended up adding on 10 minutes and still were sad to go. On our last day in Oahu, I asked my daughters what they wanted to do and they both immediately chose Popoki + Tea. We made a reservation this time (highly recommend) for the earliest time so the cats weren't tired from previous visitors. We bought treats for the cats and this time booked the 50 minute session. The kids were still sad to go after that long, but we were so glad we made the trip to see the kitties again. Even though we couldn't adopt, it was such an amazing experience (being cat lovers) to hang out with the sweetest cats and put our money towards a company that is helping to find these sweet animals there forever homes. We will definitely be back. Also, an amazing perk, there is the cutest pet store next door and next to that is a fabulous coffee shop! All in all a MUST on your next trip to Oahu.

Very clean and nice cat cafe. Book ahead of time to get the full 50 min experience, otherwise you'll have to try to get window of time or an abridged 30-min experience. When we went, it was 1pm and the cats were napping but a few were up. Very clean room, but a bit tiny. There were 19 cats at the time. They have drinks for humans and food to purchase for cats.

I love coming to Popoki for cat yoga with my friends 💕 The cats are too cute and Emily the instructor is great! I feel so relaxed after. Kamalei, a worker there, is always so kind and helpful. She's so knowledgeable about every cat they have and about cats in general. I highly recommend visiting sometime, whether it's for an event like cat yoga or not!

Super cute cat cafe! Manager was working the morning we went in - very friendly and helpful, also confirmed some "cat facts" for my daughter (i.e., 99.9997% of calico cats are female!). :) They email you once you confirm your booking -- the email includes a link to sign their waiver online. DO IT! Easy to do while you're there, too...but super quick to do beforehand (and that means you get in there faster!). Don't forget your socks -- they require them to visit the kitties (they also have some to borrow or purchase). Street parking only, no lot (metered only on Waialae Ave, street parking on cross streets). Two paws up...we'll be back!
